MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 2 part 2 Spoiler Turn 5 Player phase Since the hand axe fighter is gone, Agro can only be attacked by three enemies at max. (two in close range + long bow archer) which means he'll be fine. first droppable item obtained A more usable level up than her first one.Enemy phase What the fuck!? You make me Agro!!! These reinforcement cavaliers can reach the second line already. It's not a main problem. Only the long bow archer annoys me.Turn 6Player phase Agro with 20 HP left can survive two hits. Ragnar's allies need like two turns to reach Donwik's allies.Enemy phase He'll definitely take a breather next turn.Turn 7Player phase Yay, his first strength point. It's actually the only good thing I can say about this level up. The level ups in this chapter are awful so far. misses once I still can't reach Agro and Kai in the next turn because of this soldier in the thicket. He'll take another suspension next turn beause 13 HP is by far not enough to be on the front line.Enemy phase It's the first time Ragnar really is in danger. Same goes for Agro but not for the first time.NPC phase The long bow archer took a bit damage which is nice. More enemy reinforcements! This time from the left. They'll cut down the tree to use it as bridge to reach Donwik from the west. The mercenary has an armorslayer. Bad news for Donwik! But also Donwik hasn't lead his trump yet. He sends two more NPC knights. Furthermore two more cavalier reinforcements.Turn 8Player phase Yay! At least Ragnar shows his class. By far the best unit in this hack so far. Strength, speed and defense are binary already.Enemy phaseNPC phase another suicide The knight reinforcements move. They're excellent canon fodder.Turn 9Player phase Agro misses with 80% once more. He sucks so far!Enemy phase Now they can cross the river. The archer will be dead in the next turn.NPC phaseTurn 10Player phase another awful level Finally! Vidar attracts the fighter with the halberd. Thankfully effective weapons only do double damage in this hack, so he'll be fine.Enemy phase He even dodges. Donwik should be fine. Two more cavalier reinforcements and another fighter and myrmidon appeared on the top left of the map. The knights help me. They can even poke the boss for me. The way to the village is open now. Vidar can visit in the next turn while the others will attack the boss. This chapter is pretty much done. I can leave Donwik alone. The boss will be killed before him hopefully.Enemy phase Ow! NPC phase I must admit these NPCs do a good job in this chapter. Turn 12Player phase Vidar visits the village and gets a steel lance. Not really that what I wanted. At least Donwik can use it without using speed. Exactly the stats I wanted to see. Good! I don't like this guy already. Don't worry. The pyscho is over soon. I'm 100% sure he'll switch to the lancereaver in the enemy phase. Enemy phase Despite changed weapon triangle Ragnar still hits. NPC phase Turn 13 Player phase At least he has his wanted piece now. That's what I can call level up. However this guy doesn't like strength for some reason. money Chapter is done. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 2 part 3 Spoiler Reunion of Rinoa and Donwik. She was very worried about him, but he calms her down that the situation wasn't as bas as she was feared of. She might have underrestimated him. Donwik got a shock when she reported him that the Silvatican Army went for king Urien. It's Ragnar's earnings that nothing happened to hi, Ragnar joins quite suddenly and even apologizes for "disturbing" their conversation. Rinoa leaves so Downwik and Ragnar can settle important things. Like Eric, Urien and Guntram before Ragnar gets compliments for saving another life. Ragnar acts if it was nothing. Donwik can't believe the conflict turned into a war. Ragnar tells him about the lastest happenings. Without Urien's hint about this assault in Fort Xinus, Rangar wouldn't have met Donwik. Both armies are going to introduce theirselves. Kai a very loyal archerAgro A classic fighter: Big mouth and more savvy in his arms than in his head. Tero and Vidar shall be introduced to Donwik as well. He asks a civilian to let them find. He pays for him for this task. He gets excited when he sees the gold. He got money before for an other unknown task before. He seems to be very poor and is excited about this generosity. He leaves at once. Tero's and Vidar's introduction Next stop will be Fort Zera. He has know-how about something I don't know how to know now. JESUS!!! Chapter 3 part 1 Spoiler arrived at Fort Zera There's a quiteness, which burdens both. Also the open gates tell that people have to be here. soldier found asking for the health condition Apparently he doesn't look very good. He's in serious danger of life. Rinoa has to save him. He's totally rattled. The attempt to calm him down. He was chased. ... anger and revenge feelings The two cavaliers got the order to scout the fort. Seeing people suffering and dying stuffe Tero. He's wondering why Vidar can deal with this situation so easily. Vidar tells him a bit stuff about his youth. He learned fast his vigor and to hide his fears. This place is teeming of dead bodies. This is even too far for Vidar. It seemed to be that Tero is grown in this situation... ... well nv. Tero still doesn't know for which ideals he really fights. On the one hand he just wants to be alive somehow, but on the other hand we wants to protect people. But it's impossible to protect without fighting. Maybe these corpses give him the impact what protecting really means. If he does nothing, his relatives and him will have the same fate like these corpses. Vidar tries to make him this clear. War is a cruel beast which causes feares. Tero is still overwhelmed to deal with this situation. Vidar has fears too, but he tries to hide them as good as he can, especially from Tero not to make him more timider. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 3 part 2 Spoiler SURPRISE! Tero is wounded. Fun fact: Vidar dodges the other archer although his skill, speed and luck are worse than Tero's. Ragnar must be reported. Vidar makes Ragnar clear that they didn't ignore his order. Tero will get healed. Donwik shows who's boss. This answer isn't enough for him. Donwik wants to start a counterattack which doesn't work though. Donwik and his men are losing their hand. For the death of their man they want to counterattack the enemy without any preparations. They will end like lots of their camerades did. Ragnar could stop them getting into this deathtrap in the nick of time. The initiator of this fire. As long as Drogan is here no one has to worry. As long he's here...Map Chapter 3 is the first indoor map. There are three chests, but neither there's a thief on this map, nor the enemies drop chest keys. So I highly expect that a thief will appear later on. The enemies aren't too tough, but some of them carry effective weapons against Donvik and the cavaliers. Also two ballistas will annoy you, but you can get rid of one in the first turn already. There are also two bosses but only have to care about one.Enemies The're one level higher than in the last chapter with better stats fittingly. some effective weaponsonager bow = armor bow it also has a crit boost Effective weapons weigh as much as in the regular GBA parts. That means it's still very easy to double them. Only steel weapons are bit lighter in this hack.Drogan How to beat him? If he doesn't move automatically, you can ignore him by using the north path to reach this guy:Thorir He's no big deal. Again Ragnar's Homyrius is the weapon to beat him without much effort. You have to seize his throne to beat this chapter.red wine = energy drop A stealable item. Another hint that a thief has to appear later.Turn 1Player phase First task must be to kill the archer, who can use the ballista. The right archer can be ignored.Enemy phase He took serious damage.Turn 2Player phase This looks a bit tricky at first sight, but I'm sure that I'll defeat most of them. another good level - The iron lance is in good hands now. Not great, but still better than his horsemate. Only this fighter survives. That works for me. Rinoa heals Ragnar because he's on very low health.Enemy phase some kind of trap!?Turn 3Player phase Still no thief appeared.good I defeated the first wave of enemies.Enemy phaseTurn 4Player Phase still neither a thief nor reinforcements Donwik and Agro will block the other cavalier. Not a difficult chapter so far. Edited March 23, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 3 part 3 Spoiler Enemy phase return of the freakHe likes pervert games. Rashka wants to have "fun" in a different place. After reluctance at the beginning Drogan finally follows his buddy. Drogan disappears. I'm happy about that for two reasons: I can beat this chapter easily right now. I don't want to watch now what's going on between these two. Turn 5 first couple of reinforcements but still no thief herePlayer phaseEnemy phaseTurn 6Player phase If a thief will appear, then it has to be from this stairs. It's the only one in this map. However: The first reinforcements appeared from different spots. Ragnar and Donwik will wait for the reinforcments. Ragnar is needed here because he's the only unit who can oneround this knight (Homyrius). However he won't be able reach the thief in the next turn, if he really appears. So I hope he won't appear or someone else can recruit him.Enemy phaseTurn 7 Here he is! Abner is the typical thief: fast but weak and squishy master key = lockpick This hack features daggers. Knives aren't an own weapon type but belong to swords. They're lighter than swords but have the same might and accuracy. Only thieves can use daggers. Excellent first level. I like the speed especially. One of my monted units rescues Ragnar to bring him to Abner. He may open the door and plunder the chests.Enemy phaseTurn 8Player phase He can be recruited next turn.Enemy phaseTurn 9Player phase Abner's recruitmentRagnar: Why are you crouching in the middle of a battlefield?Abner: ...Ragnar: ... I can see you. Abner: ... Bullocks. Alright, let us just lower that spear, matey. Ragnar: How about you do the same with the dagger in your cloak.Abner: Hah! I like you, sideburns. But... no. This dagger is staying trained on your heart until my loot and I are of a very far distance from this hell hole.Ragnar: You're a thief?Abner: Mayhap... Who are you?Ragnar: I am Lieutanent Ragnar...Abner: Don't care, sideburns. Are you going to let me go?Ragnar: ... Depends.Abner: On what?Ragnar: How much do you cost?Abner: More than you can afford.Ragnar: Name your price.Abner: Hah! The size of the berries on this man! 25000 gold.Ragnar: How about you get to keep whatever yon can carry. Obviously not from out own coffers. Abner: What about gold?Ragnar: We can sort that out when this campaign is over.Abner: ... Stuff it. You got yourself a deal, sideburns. His first reward. Here's the trap which was mentioned in the last part: If you reach a certain spot (probably the stairs where Abner and Tero stay), ambush cavaliers with reaver weapons appear.Enemy phase Thankfully the cavalier with the axe reaver attacks first. Not that it really matters, because both got hit despite weapon advantage.Turn 10Player phase In the hands of the right person. Even if he only levels strength and speed, I'd be totally pleased with him. I can't kill this one. Tero is equipped to a lance so he can't do shit to my cavs.Enemy phase His shitty perfomance is still unchanged.Turn 11Player phase nice Ragnar can deal with these dudes all alone.Enemy phase Turn 12 Player phase I think Abner needs it the most to become more useful in combat early on. I take the speed at least. The axe cavalier is still alive. Enemy phase Six damage to myrm is still not all that much. Why are my cavaliers so mediocre? Turn 13 Player phase Needed four units to kill this cav. thanks to Agro. Turn 14 Nothing important happens. Turn 15 Player phase [spoiler=This merc doesn't move]for a good reason. The two cavs. shall get rid of the second ballista as quickly as possible. Enemy phase Turn 16 Player phase So much I hate it to do, but I must retreat for now. This cav. has a zanbato. He, the fighter and the ballista can kill Vidar. Enemy phase Turn 17 Player phase second trap - A fighter and a myrm appear. Both have reaver weapons again. Thankfully I can still kill the myrm in this turn. The fighter can't reach Ragnar yet. It doesn't matter anyways since he has weapon disadvantage against Ragnar. The ambush reinforcements aren't a serious problem unless they appear after you moved with your last unit in the player turn or no one else can attack them. I take the magic. Again the level ups are pretty disappointing. Lots of two-statter in this chapter. Agro can oneround him. Enemy phase Wait... I was complaing about two-statters? Then take this! I fucking hate this fighter. Not only he does level almost nothing, he hasn't even got strength once yet. He's a tank, but that's not what a fighter has to be. Turn 18 Player phase At least he doesn't suck. I'm really happy about his speed growth (100%) so far. If Vidar can't double the ballista at least... then... The ambush fighter with the swordreaver. Enemy phase His last ballista shot hopefully. Turn 19 19 turns already passed but there's an ending in sight. I only have to kill the ballista. Then I can deal with the few rest. However this is a really long chapter. Not very hard, but long. You need patience to earn the victory. Player phase Wow... Vidar can double sth. Enemy phase Even with the steel lance equoipped Ragnar can double this cav. Turn 20 Player phase Enemy phase Speed - DELICIOUS! Yeah, my expectations in him have changed. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 3 part 4 Spoiler Turn 21 Player phase Enemy phase Only the knights next to the boss are left. Of course Agro can't double with his hammer. Knights's speed is somewhat decent in this hack. Turn 22 Player phase The only one besides Donwik who got only good levels in this chapter. Agro shall make advantage of the weapon triangle and weak the boss. He'll swap to the sword in the enemy phase, which is my target. Ragnar's Homyrius will have easy game with him. Enemy phase of course Turn 23 Player phase Dear godness! FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!! LET'S GET OUT OF THIS AT ONCE!!! Soft war methods to bring someone to talk. This answer isn't enough. It needed two broken fingers to get serious information from him. Ragnar and Donwik can hardly believe him, because they expected to get this information. Do you remember on this line!? At the most interesting point he silences and can escape. ... but they don't allow him. They believe Thorir's story. Donwik has heared about the (six) lords. After getting these new information they question about the true intentions of this war and what they fight for. Snap! On the way towards the exit SURPRISE not a good one another freak He has a power, which paralyzes. It must be another lord. I mean he is at least as crazy as Rashka. Guntram appears out of nowhere! A tough battle. It's said so easily. Guntram gives all moralic support he has. It's a question of confidence and self-believe for Ragnar to overcome this barrier. still not enough Guntrammust become loud! This finally works! Guntram gives Ragnar and Donwik the chance to flee. means death? YOU GET IT ALL! No, I don't want to bring the musical reference like other people did. True words! Well... I don't know, if he actioned them... Edited March 23, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 4 part 1 Spoiler The confrontation with the berserker still bothers Ragnar. The most worrying thing for him is that he knows him but Raganr doesn't know him. Donwik tries to calm him down by suggesting to suppress the meeting but it made the situation only worse. Maybe Guntram has a connection to this ominous dude. Meanwhile bandits go for a wild fang. They don't go only for villages... ... but also for attractive chicks. She has the confidence to challenge them all alone with verbal attacks. Challenge accepted! She realizes her own corruption a bit late. fucked She's hardly to overhear. The tasks in the next mission.Map Chapter 4 is a rout mission. It doesn't look very special so far, but it'll change in a bit. Besides the villages you have to save this chick: Melanie is a level 5 pegasus knight with decent speed but mediocre strength and defense. She has a naginata (= axe reaver), which helps her to defend herself against the bandits. However she shall give this weapon to someone who has a better con than her. There's another recruitable unit I forgot to check out. I'll show him later.Enemies This chapter features tons of bandits who are actually not that bad. Their speed is so high that only the ones who carry steel axes can be doubled. It's a good chapter to train the swordusers, mainly in person of Abner.Boss The boss is powerful and has lots of HP but swordusers shouldn't have that many problems with him. Since he stays in a thicket, it's rather likely that he'll be stationary.Turn 1Player phase The myrm is in the thicket, so it's better to let him move out of here to beat him easier. demonstration of the might of bandits Enemy phaseNPC phase As long she has equipped the naginata, she should be fine.Turn 2Player phase Vidar shall attract some enemies. He's slow but at least he has defense to work as a wall. The misery continues! Ragnar can talk to Melanie in the next turn.Enemy phase No damage taken - Nice! unlike AgroTurn 3 The condition of the map changed. It became dark. It's a Fug of War chapter from now on.Player phase Vidar and Tero press ahead. It could be a risky move since I don't know, how many enemies can attack them. I hope for Tero's dodging abilities. Vidar should be fine since he can't oneround anyone with his low speed. Tero on the other hand could double enemies with steel weapons, so lots of enemies could attack... and theoretically kill him. Ragnar can't recruit her yet because I need him to take out this archer.Enemy phase bad start It'll be my first death in this LP probably. His best level up for nothing - fuck! First heartattack situation survived. Still alive... Ok, ok... FUCK!!! I guess it's the first time that I ever was killed by thief. He'd usually steal anyways, I guess. How embarrassing!Deathcount: 1_______________________________________Attempt #2 I replayed this chapter because Tero was one of the better units of my team mainly because of his speed.Turn 3 I was rewarded for this death. A delicious level up now! In my replayed turn. I didn't move with Tero and Vidar too far so that by less enemies could reach them.Enemy phase It was good that the thief attacked Agro. If no one is in his attack range, he'd go after the red villages instead.Turn 4 This worked better!Player phase Couldn't kill the archer and Ragnar still can't move towards Melanie. Thankfully she doesn't move. The second recruitable unit. Edited April 3, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 4 part 2 Spoiler Enemy phase It's definitely better to block with Donwik instead of Tero. He can't oneround anyone but therefore he can survive. Turn 5 Player phase another good level two more nice levels Now Tero gets the strength I asked for a few chapters ago. If Donwik would get a bit more speed, he'd be a monster against enemies with physical weapons. After the forced reset the level ups are really good so far. I deserve it because the last chapter went horribly bad for me referring to level ups. Keep it up, guys!!! his first strength point btw Donwik and the two cavs block. I don't expect that so many enemies can reach Tero this time. He has to be fine. Enemy phase Turn 6 announcement of reinforcements I couldn't see where they appeared. Finally Ragnar can talk to Melanie: Ragnar: Are you okay? Melanie: I-I... who...? Ragnar: Hmm, she's in shock... Tell me your name? Melanie: ...W-Who are you? Ragnar: My name is Ragnar. Do you know where you are? Melanie: I-w-w-was in th-th-the i-nn. Ragnar: Then what? Melanie: ...Oh, Gods. They scared me! The scared me so! Ragnar: It's alright, my lady, you're safe now. Fly away from this area, we'll defend the town. Melanie: Keep yor filthy hands off me. Touch other men with them, do you? Pull their little pricks? Ugh, forget you. I'll rip THEIR honkey throats out! Ragnar: ... That was unexpected. As in the last turn the same units will block. Turtling is the best strategy here. Ragnar takes the Naginata. It gives him a bit speed penalty (-2) but not as much as Melanie would have. Enemy phase Turn 7 Player phase One of the worse levels but I'm ok with being a bit tankier now. The cavs. shall ride towards west to get more sight. Tero is going to visit the open yellow house. You got nothing here. Definitely a hint that Melanie has to visit this one. She can visit it in the next turn. one more bandit detected Enemy phase Turn 8 Player phase not good Abner detects a few more enemies (among this myrm) who can already attack me in enemy phase. Ivari is a recruitable myrmidon. I must admit his bases and base equipment don't impress me at all. He has the same base level and base strength as Abner which is pretty bad tbh. He has a slightly better con than Abner but he can't use daggers which are lighter than swords. He loses so much speed with his steel sword that he can't double anyone except for steel axe fighters / brigands or steel bow archers. With an iron sword equipped he does like baby damage. Since Abner is pretty good already, I'm not going to use Ivari. Melanie visits the village of the old man: [spoiler=You also got nothing but I'm pretty sure it's still important to visit this village with her.]I guess it'll decide if she will stay in the team after this chapter. Enemy phase Turn 9 Player phase Once again Ragnar can recruit: Ragnar: A female bandit? Odd. Ivari: Gods. This is getting ridiculous. Ragnar: Pardon? Ivari: I'm a man, okay? Ragnar: Ah, then forgive me. Still, you don't look like regular bandit. Ivari: They pay well. Ragnar: Yes, I see that morals are up for a purchase nowadays. Ivari: You can get anything for the right place, my friend. Ragnar: Indeed. If you'll excuse me. Ivari: Soldier! Ragnar: Yes? Ivari: Allow me to join you. Ragnar: May I ask you a question? Ivari: Of course! Ragnar: Why would you join our cause? Ivari: I... I never thought something could weigh on my conscience. All of this though, it's so heave. The gold is good, no denying. But no amount of gold could warrant what I've done these past weeks. I want out. Ragnar: ... You'll find a home amongst my platoon. Ivari: Now, where's the bastard who kept grabbing my ass? Tbf even I recognized Ivari as a man. *says someone who thought Midir is a girl* You already see Ivari's problem: His start. He can't double with his steel sword and with his iron sword equipped, he'd do exactly one more damage (2x4). So NO! For comparison: Tero can oneround. (even if only fighters and archers who carry steel weapons or 2 range weapons) VIdar's defense should be enough to survive the enemy phase. Enemy phase Abner can steal them back. Turn 10 Player phase Tero becomes better and better. He can almost double even brigands with iron axes. That's fine. meh Enemy phase The thief gets rich on my vulneraries. OUCH!!! An archer from nowhere. Turn 11 Player phase stolen back Nothing has changed. Still goddamn awful. Tbf she missed out the two most important stats. The amory has standard weapons: Iron and steel weapons and 2 range weapons. Still you don't have a supply yet, you can't buy much. Good management of your items is very important. It's very easy to obtain an item or weapon you can't take because the unit's inventory is full. I only buy a steel bow and steel dagger because I don't have these weapons yet. I still have to sell the red jewel. Abner visits the red village in the north: angelic robe I'll give it to Melanie. Enemy phase No nasty surprises this time. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 4 part 3 Spoiler Turn 12Player phase Here's the nest of the reinforcements. Donwik visits the other red village: swordreaver - excellent for AgroEnemy phaseTurn 13Player phase excellent Two more enemies are detected. Vidar is in the attack range of the boss. I highly doubt that he'll move, though.Enemy phase Rinoa can even take two hits by this merc. Indeed the boss doesn't move.Turn 14Player phase Abner gained lots of levels in this chapter and all of them were good. His strength is very satisfying. It's a bit risky to attack because he can't take two hits. But I believe in the hitrates and that he'll get hin only once at max. strong but inaccurate - good for meEnemy phase I really hope for strength next time.Turn 15Player phase The boss has really high HP. Still can't beat him in this turn.Enemy phaseTurn 16Player phaseA Abner finishes the boss off and gets another great level up. He's my favorite thief in any GBA romhack so far statwise. However it's not over yet. One more thief must be killed. And the problem is that he heals all the time.Enemy phaseTurn 17Player phase Now it's done. It went much better than the previous one (except for this stupid unnecessary death) because most units got good levels up. I hope they keep it up! Ragnar has to deal with more thanky-tankies. The old man was against that Melanie is going to help because he was worried about her. But she tries to make him clear that she was trained and could fight. And once more Ragnar explains himself that saving lives is a natural thing. He still doesn't want be revered. Donwik apologizes to Ragnar for his unfitting words during the conversation about the unexpected meeting with mysterious berserker. Since Donwik has experience in leading for being a former commander, Ragnar is thinking to give the lead to him. But Donwik refuses because he believes in him. It's the first time that Ragnar questions his actions afterwards. Donwik believes it was the right choice to defend the villages. => not very convincing tbh Donwik agrees with Ragnar's morale. Conference for the next mission. Ragnar wants to follow Guntram to get information about the berserker. Donwik questions his plan. Ragnar tries to convince him with facts. Donwik gives green light. Going to Azalia to meet Guntram there with the target to get more information from him.Meanwhile I [spoiler=This might be a special cutscene, if Melanie visited the house of the old man.] He motivates her and suggests her to join Ragnar's party. She agrees. If she didn't visit the village, she might leave after this chapter already. Meanwhile II mysterious voice Drogan reports. Drogan is sure that he'll be luckier in beating Guntram than his mate. The mysterious voice is thinking Drogan is just mad because he highly doubt about a victory of his man. He / she isn't wrong because Drogan's stats (mainly speed) are even worse than Zidar's. Trying to hit on Ragnar. First Guntram, then Ragnar There's an easier way to capture Guntram instead of fighting. overrunning his home Azalia Edited April 3, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
X-Naut
rip my favorite character ;w; While he does compete with Abner for a team slot often, Ilvari is quite good if his Strength cooperates. He has the usual great Skl/Spd of a Myrmidon but he also has an unusually high Defense growth... although he typically wants the Vet's Blood to get his HP going and a Red Wine for muscle. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 5 part 1 Spoiler Looking for a side job. Royals have money. Each coin counts in war times. Each job - so dirty it might be - must be taken. It's known what will happen to deserters. The soldiers are afraid of their life. Abner volunteers to talk to these guys. not convincing enough Abner still needs more arguments. He makes that "promise" that the soldiers will get wares if the merchants survive. They take the bite... good advertisement Bitten into. They need a prove. Of course he can't do it... They're jelaous right now and want a better paid job. more assumptions The soldiers open the way now. Abner reached what he wanted. They were overheared. Abner has to convince the leader too. But he doesn't get fooled so easily. Ragnar must come out with a name just like that. ... unmasked Since Ragnar has no other choice anymore he tries to talk openly to them what he desires. He wants to pass through without fighting. But they don't listen. Another babaric war method: Not only civilians are forced to fight, but also slaves. The army soldiers shall be killed and the slaves shall be spared.Map Chapter 5 is a defeat boss mission. It's not very spectacular. Only beware of the ballista with Melanie. The slaves aren't shown up yet, so you can kill each enemy on the map without regret. Melanie uses the angelic robe from the previous chapter. The only noticable thing is that female enemies exist. Female myrmidons have lower strength and con slightly higher speed than males. Beware: The female one has a killing edge. Boss is another knight, who's no big deal. He has a armorslayer and short spear. Another boss for Ragnar. He's placed on a fort, so he won't move. a stealable pure water - There's no reason not to get it.Turn 1Player phase a not so great start Melanie and Tero block.Enemy phase Turn 2 Player phase Another disappointing level up. He works more like a tank than a powerhouse, which is weird. ambush reinforcements - maybe the slaves? I believe they appear after you crossed a certain point. It's actually pretty bad since they can attack me in the next turn already. Someone has to block them and has to be replaced in front of this knight who blocks the bridge. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 5 part 2 Spoiler Turn 4Player phase Lots of enemies here. Ragnar will tank them. I try to kill as many enemies as possible to give Ragnar an easier time. He gets the two most important stats, so it's fine. nice Melanie had to be rescued because of the archer. There was no space for Rinoa to heal Ragnar. He should be fine with 16 HP left since only two enemies can attack him. (one enemy in closerange and the archer)Enemy phase Thankfully he doesn't take the 2% chance of killing himself.Turn 5Player phase This dude is scary. ugh Ragnar had to retreat because of his low HP. I couldn't kill the myrm with the blood sword. So Tero will be in real danger.Enemy phase thanfully no crit Now the slaves are forced to fight. But this boy refuses. The demonstration for all refusers. This should make an impression to all the other slaves. He has an iron will. He wants to know it now! enough of this word duel Mil appears as a red unit although he made clear not to support the Silvatican Army. Most likely he's recruitable. He's the first magic user in this hack, a decent one. His stats are very balanced. Of course he's a bit squishy with his low HP and defense but his base defense is only one lower than base Abner's. I'm going to try him out because a two range attacker is always nice to have. flame = fireTurn 6 Player phase Donwik will block. Mil is the one in the fort, so he won't be able to attack on my units.Enemy phase His steel sword broke at the right time to counterattack the mage. Mil turns into a NPC and can get attacked by the enemies now. No real problem because my units can take them out very soon. If he stays in the fort, he should be fine.Turn 7Player phaseYou must be kidding me!?!? Only the knight is left who can Mil. The situation is under control.Enemy phaseTurn 8 more magical reinforcements The first light and dark mage. Their stats are expectable. The spells have the exact same stats like in the GBA parts. That means they're still very heavy. Player phase Melanie visits the house in the west: a few story backround information Mil is safe now. Enemy phase Turn 9 Player phase Ivari's first and only kill. Only two reinforcements survived. The chapters is as good as done. really?! She's slow. Enemy phase Donwik doubles dark mages but he missed once here. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 5 part 3 Spoiler Turn 10Player phase Ragnar can't talk to Mil. Melanie visits the village in the north. It doesn't give you anything but you gain lots of information of Nazuria's backround. Vidar can double stuff. It shows how badly the heavy tomes screw dark mages. Tero can tank. Enemy phase Donwik is sweating. Turn 11 Player phase no more ballista trouble Rinoa can talk to Mil. His eyes are full of hate and revenge feelings. Rinoa with her heart- and merciful kind calms him down. She tries to make him clear that fighting all alone will end with death. But it's the only way to find her mother. But it's not sure if she's captured here by the Silvaticans, more less if she's still alive. Rinoa offers her help. After lots of persuading he finally agrees and joins Ragnar's party. More attackpower is nice. However I'd like to see a bit more speed. Excellent! She needs the power and speed. Two reinforcement cavaliers appeared at the begin of this turn but they won't be a problem for me. Already blocked. Enemy phase Defense is the stat he needs the most, so I can take it. Turn 12 Player phase As expected Mil has a special conversation with the boss. Only the boss is left. Ragnar's Homyrius can make short shift. glitchy Ragnar finishes the chapter and gets another excellent level up as reward. He's great because he's so balanced. He has no single weakness so far. They're questioning why Nazuria supported Silvatica. Ragnar cames to the correct conclusion that they were forced to fight. Nothing can shock Donwik anymore. They have seen enough of Silvatica's cruelty already how to gain allies. Mil introduces himself and tells them about the horrible situation of the Nazurians including himself. He's looking for revenge. As Rinoa did before Ragnar also warns Mil not to let out his revenge feelings all alone. Something happened to the king. He was murdered. A massacre happend. Mil talks about his wish to find his mother. Rinoa is speaking for him. Saving Azalia has the highest priority for Donwik right now. Each second counts. He gets aggrevated because he saw Rinoa's question as indirect murdering to him and his mother. Ragnar will fulfill his request and will try to find Mil's mother. Once more he fulfills his duty to save as many lives as he can. Mil doesn't really need the help of Ragnar's batallion... ... but the chance of having success in a group is much higher. He believes in Guntram that he can settle things in Azalia. Ragnar understands Donwik's blow up towards Rinoa. It's owed to the war to lose their nerves. Donwik comes to an agreement. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 6 part 1 (reuploaded) Spoiler Drogan brings the mysterious voice the latest news. 4000 (!!!) slaves will be used for this war... and serve as canonfodder. Just babaric! Demoralizing and murdering everyone to have an easy game with Guntram. Mysterious voice: Great job, my buddy! Drogan's plan what to do with Ragnar. But the mysterious voice has a quite different plan. Drogan: What?! It wants to have personal fun with Ragnar. But as a subordinate he follows the order of course and passes it to his men: Giving the order to this merc to let Ragnar pass "safely". He can do what he wants with the others. Passing Drogan's orders to his men. Of course the leader has a different personal interest. As mercenary as he is, he wants to Ragnar's head to gain a little "promotion". A heavily wounded soldier appears. And brings horrible news. He barely survived and took the long and hard way to look for them. However not all hope is lost. He needs "miracle" healing now. Despite heavy injuries he still must filfill this task. It's the really the first time that Ragnar can't care about life of his own men. It's his only remedy to prevent more losses and a loss of Azalia.Map Chapter 6 is a straightforward made map. The target is to seize. There are two paths. The right path has way more enemies than the left, so you should split up your team accordingly.Enemies The enemies are a mix of physical units and a few magic users of all elements. Dark mages are a bit weak since even monks have the same magic stat as them. The enemies carry regular weapons. The magic users have flux, shine and thunder and the physical enemies carry steel, 1-2 range weapons and very few reavers and effective weapons. The boss is another mercenary. Funnily he's not better than the one from chapter 2. However he's a bit more dodgy because of the throne boost. However he's easily defeated with bows and magic since he has no 2 range weapon.Turn 1Player phase (player and enemy phase are cut from now on) Donwik, Melanie and Abner will use the left path whil everyone uses the right one. Tero will tank a quite bit again.Enemy phase A bit damage by the archers.Turn 2Player phase A few enemies here. Everyone moved except for the knights. Vidar uses a holy water not to get too much damage by the magic users. bleh This area is pretty much clear already.Enemy phase Thanks to res. boost.Turn 3Player phase The level of the opponents doesn't rise as much as of my units. The reason why my units can take them without much effort right now.Enemy phase Thankfully horseslayer misses.Turn 4Player phase Mil gets his first level up - A good one. Magic and speed are the only stats he really needs for now. Rinoa's level is ok too since she gained magic. However her speed really worries me. My two cavaliers block the bridge. They'll get a bit damage by the knights.Enemy phase Only Kai took a bit damage.Turn 5 first reinforcementsPlayer phase Please get some strength or defense. Agro gets a good level. He's not the strongest fighter I know but he's tanky and his speed isn't bad either. Halfways is done. The bridge is taken.Enemy phase First time my a few of my allies took serious damage. It was the right decision to give Melanie the angelic robe because her defense is shit.Turn 6Player phase Strength is nice... but more stats would be nicer. Another bad Vidar level up. Two stats are his level up average so far - PATHETIC! Not better at all. The two cavs. block the reinforcements. One of them has a horseslayer but they will survive at any case.Enemy phase Thanks to the hand axe cavalier the one with the horseslayer couldn't attack.Turn 7 A NPC brigand appears. He has no name (Everglow is the name of the bandit group) his portrait is the same as the enemy bridgand from the Serafew chapter of FE8. Ragnar or someone else should talk to him to get more information about him.Player phase Kai is one of the very few archers whose strength doesn't suck. However his speed is kinda lacking so it compensates his strength a bit by not doubling. The chapter is almost done. One very few enemies are left.Turn 8 Another good level for Mil.Turn 9 Only the boss is left. Meanwhile Ragnar moves towards the NPC. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 6 part 2]He needs help. But Ragnar needs his name first...Ragnar is questioning if he shall help someone who does crime.Everglow want to become an ally of Azalia. He's surprised but also pleased at the same time to hear this words. But he still doesn't know what Feddick even wants from him.He needs soldiers who withstand the Silvaticans. If he doesn't get them, he's afraid that his comrades will fall very soon.Ragnar is still considering about his decision. But Feddick needs and fast answer begs Ragnar. He promises him that the Everglows won't do shit anymore.Ragnar is so forgivable that he's coming to Feddick's and his mates' aid.A bond between resistance fighters and brigands is built. One of the very few positive sides of this war.[spoiler=Feddick leaves the map.]You'll get a reward for talking to him after this chapter Turn 10Another wave of reinforcements appears from the forts.Player phaseStats she doesn't need.3/4 of his health is gone already.Enemy phaseBoss changes his weapon from the lancereaver to a sword. Nevertheless Agro still hits him.Turn 11Player phaseAgro kills the boss and gets another good level up. After starting problems he becomes better and better. A captured soldier who already thought that Azalia is lost. Ragnar calms him down that Azalia still has soldiers in its hindquarter. The soldier gets the task to go to Zerenus and inform the king that this situation isn't as bad as it looked like previously. Ragnar has to come to Zerenus' aid as quickly as possible. Everything will turn out well! Ragnar still doesn't like formalities. For Azalia! For GLORY! Ragnar and his two subordinates spread optimism with their speech. Motivation for the upcoming battles. Again they have to cross a sea of corpses. All of them are Everglows. Once more they meet someone in a pathetic physical and psychical condition. He still has the "power" for big mouthing. Ragnar makes him clear that they're not his enemy. But he doesn't listen to him... or he can't. He knows Feddick. He has to be another survivor or the Everglows. Feddick died. ... With almost no power. He's totally raddled. They take him to Rinoa and hope that she can help him somehow. She could save his life. Instead of resting he plans to go for revenge for the deaths of all his brothers and Feddick. He wants to die for a "good purpose". Ragnar doesn't allom him to do blind revenge. Furthermore he also has to keep Feddick's promise not to let die out the Everglows. This brigand is the last survivor. Ragnar also does self-reproaches for sending him away and bringing him in this death-trap. His final request is to avenge Feddick's death. Ragnar doesn't want to let anymore people die (in)directly by his command. Ragnar will everything to save Azalia and to avenge the death of the Everglows. He wants to help. The Azalians are the only support partners which are left for him since they share his goal: Defeating the Silvaticans. First promise is accepted. But not the second promise...All alone he can't finish his revenge. as stubborn as determined
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 7 part 1 Spoiler The big battle in Azalia is going on already. Drogan is excited as ever. Rasha isn't needed for now. Which makes him sad. It's the first time that Drogan shows his irritation towards Rashka by his bothersome. almost starts to cry Drogan will have fun with someone else therefore. Guntram and Eric hide inside the castle and breach their walls to save from intruders. Erec is in panic. Guntram is clever enough to estimates the situation realistically. Of course they don't give up. motivation speech of the boss Meanwhile in Azalian castle Somehow the enemy knows about the secret path to the throne room. Guntram passes the horrible news to Erec. But they don't give all their hopes left till they're dead. Donwik also gets the news that the news that the enemy could enter the throne room. Of course Ragnar is worried about them. Nobody knows yet. They can only hope it's not too late yet. Azalian reinforcements appear and report Ragnar and Donwik about the latest happenings: At least they're still alive. probably a hint about reinforcements They can't give any information about the AI of the boss. Ten NPCs will help Ragnar. Ragnar's motivation speed - a real GOOD oneMap Chapter 7 is a defeat boss mission with the side condition that Guntram and king Erec must survive. It's a large indoor map with two paths to go. You can't enter the enclosed throne room where king Erec, Guntram and four knights have to withstand a few promoted enemies. There are two doors which can't opened by a thief. However you could get attacked by a 2 range weapon, if you place someone directly next to the wall. It'll end with an instant death because the enemies are way too strong.EnemiesIn the throne room The enemies in the throne room are all second tier with very good stats. They carry steel and silver weapons and the mercenary has a lance reaver. These are the generics Ragnar has to fight. They're not special.Boss The first prepromoted boss. He's not bad at all. He has enough speed not to get doubled by Mil and a hammer user and tanky enough to survive two hits by Homyrius.NPCsErec Erec is a maxed level general with horrible strength and defense for his level but still high enough to survive in this chapter.Guntram Guntram is a monster with his stats and Gungnir. He destroys everything and it's also almost impossible to kill him. Even if both are injured, they still have three uses of an elixir to survive for lots of turns.Generics These generals are pretty damn good (way better than Erec). They can tank for a few turns. All of them have a spear which means a decent critrate. Sidenote: Everyone inside the throne room except for Erec and Guntram have no luck, so it can turn out into a crit-festival. Ragnar's team is supported by a few axe and ordinary cavaliers with normal stats. They carry steel weapons, hand axe and short spear.Badrick Badrick joins if you talked to the brigand in the previous chapter. He seems to be more the classic axe user: Focussed on HP and strength He has a higher con than Agro but his bad speed is pretty mediocre. If he doesn't fix it soon, he'll turn into double territory. Since Agro is pretty alright I'll use Badrick only as back up in emergency cases. Here's my stragetical thought how to play this chapter: Since the boss isn't placed on a throne I highly expect he's going to move if anyone is in his attack range. Since the chapter ends after the boss is defeated I may not kill him before I've got all the chests. My strategy will be to move with my team the exact opposite path than the NPCs. They're too weak to kill the boss. They only shall serve as canon fodder for him to give me enough time to open the chests. Turn 1Player phase Good level up for Tero. More speed and defense are really helpful. For the first turns I have to split my units because I need the chest in the east first. Then I'll send everyone the path next to the bottom of the map.Enemy phase A few enemies drop door and chest keys. Vidar took serious damage by two enemies. The generals can withstand quite a bit.NPC phase A situation I'd like to prevent. Guntram's might - He can oneround everyone.Turn 2Player phase Tero and Melanie move forwards towards the west to attract more enemies. As for the right path I don't move my units because the NPCs shall take the job of being the decoybird. Actually it's better if they die fast not to steal too much experience.Enemy phase first crit She got hit by a couple of enemies. A crit would kill him.NPC phase more kill stealsTurn 3Player phase I made a mistake here by not bringing Rinoa here. Tero and Melanie have taken lots of punishment yet and I'm out of vulneraries.Enemy phase ambush reinforcements inside the throne room not too badNPC phase None of the general has been fallen yet. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 7 part 2 Spoiler Turn 4Player phase Abner gets defense which is quite useful. Ragnar gets another great level. I couldn't defeat all enemies against my expectations. Abner could get a serious problem because three enemies (cavalier, druid, knight with short spear) can attack and kill him.4 Skill and speed are useful. He's quite good so far.Enemy phase Heartattack count: 2 [spoiler=Thankfully I was rewarded for trusting the RNG this time.]underlined this time None of the generals die.NPC phase The generals do an excellent job so far. Second group of reinforcements is already defeated.Turn 5 announcement of reinforcements This guy seems to be a nomad and maybe even one who might change sides if someone talks to him. Also first reinforcements outside of the throne room appear - not as ambsuh.Player phase The enemies next to the chestroom are defeated. Abner can grab the chest in the next turn and then everyone else can go to the south. I'll leave the cavaliers the nothern area.Enemy phase first NPC is deadTurn 6Player phase money [spoiler=Unfortunately you still don't have a convoy, so you mustn't bring too many items or weapons to the chapter not to discard obtained stuff.]You won't have access to a traveling convoy at all. You can only sell in armories and vendors. Three stats and none of them help him further. This is useful because Rinoa is running out of staves. Tero is going to attract more enemies.Enemy phase another ambush in the throne room Vidar took less damage by the mage because he used a holy water.NPC phaseTurn 7Player phase The last thing I do here. Everyone else moves towards the beginning.Enemy phase First general is dead. A second one could barely prevent it and with his last breath take out the paladin.NPC phaseTurn 8 The nomad reinforcements appear close where the boss is. Riowa is the leader of them. He questions about the purpose of this battle so it's obvious you can recruit him (with Ragnar). He has very good bases. Excellent speed and nice strength, skill and con. An excellent replacement for Kai, if he turned out not so great. Since my Kai is decent, I'm going to use two bowusers. Honestly I'd recommend to use Riowa anyways because his bases are too good. His recruitment could be a bit tricky because Idk what the NPCs are going to do. Since the nomads are really fast I expect that they'll wreck the NPCs fast and Riowa won't be killed by them. I also hope they're moving towards east because Ragnar is there and wouldn't have such a long way to talk to him. That automatically means that the merge of my allies will be delayed.Player phaseEnemy phase This light mage is so bad that he even got doubled by this NPC. Excellent! They're moving towards east as I wished and expected. That means it won't take too long to recruit him.NPC phaseTurn 8Player phase another shitty Rinoa level Badrick can prove himself for the first time. Kai gets even more attack power at cost of his speed. Some of my units are on very low health. Rinoa, where are you? The archer inside this chest room has a long bow. Tero's going to pull hom out.Enemy phase more another NPC RIPNPC phaseTurn 9Player phase Mil can oneround the archer which is great. However Kai and Mil are seemingly dead right now. Ragnar can talk to Kiowa. By the refernce of Kiowa's answer Ragnar could realize that he must be nomad. Apparently the nomads are reluctant to join wars so Ragnar asks for his motive(s) to join nontheless. Another group which was forced to support Silvatica. namely reopposing A woman speaks in his dreams... these has to be rather nightmares. However in this case it's his absolute windfall. Ragnar: So you join just because of a dream? Kiowa: Yes. Ragnar: WTF?! Nevermind... why should I complain?! I take each help I can get. After recruiting Kiowa the other nomads turn into NPCs. Everyone will get rescued and sent to the south.Enemy phase First opponent who decides to attack Erec. He dodges.NPC phase Guntram does short shift with him. The NPCs are going for the boss. This nomad can't hurt him at all.Turn 10Player phase Not so great but more attackpower is ok for me. Now I can obtain the last two remaining chests without. Since Rinoa isn't here yet I must make use of the rare portions.Enemy phase Only one general is left. The NPCs are excellent canfodder for the boss. However he didn't move against my expectation. If he's really stationary, then my entire strategy for this chapter was wrong and wasted lots of turns. Welcome to the 1% crit.NPC phaseTurn 11 more reinforcements appeared Player phase Enemy phase more food for Guntram Eric is busier now. But there's absolute no need to worry about him. The numbers are dwindling. NPC phase Edited April 3, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 7 part 3 Spoiler Turn 12Player phase talisman - I'll give it to Agro because he still has no resistance yet. There are almost no enemies left. I'll grab the other chest in the next turn and then I'm going to fight the boss.Enemy phase The last remaining general falls. I must admit they did a splendid job. Now the enemies have to go for Guntram and will find their master. It's still fine.NPC phase with his last breathTurn 13Player phase Armorslayer - Either give it to Tero or Donwik. I guess rather Tero because Donwik has the heavy spear already.Enemy phase This was the last of the Azalian cavaliers. I hope Erec is smart enough to use an elixir.NPC phase He doesn't with only one enemy left there's no real need to do it.Turn 14Player phase My team moves towards the boss.Enemy phase more enemies - Slow but steady Erec could get into trouble. His throne heals him a bit but all the enemies could tworound him theoretically. Tbf he leaves out the best stats.NPC phaseTurn 15Player phase more reinfocements Cavalier reinforcements appeared here for the very first time. It's Agro's and Donwik's job to finish them off.Enemy phase He'll be fine.NPC phaseTurn 16Player phase Abner can oneround mages - Nice! Donwik pokes one of the reinforcements cavs. and gets a great level. His speed is really decent. Melanie drops Ragnar so he can attack the boss in the next turn. Both can get attacked by two enemies: a cavalier with the steel axe and a fighter with the swordreaver - I highly expect that the swordreaver won't hit against the two lanceusers. At any case it shouldn't because Melanie can't take two hits. I expect no RNG screwness right now.Enemy phase This was expectable. I'm sure the swordreaver won't hit her. I really pray for god because her level up was great.WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*punches the keyboard*You've got to be kidding me!? Seriously I started to blow up when this happened. And you know what!? I don't fucking care for you! Rest in piece, you bitch! I'll continue this game without her.Deathcount: 2Enemy phase Or maybe she'll be revived because I'm going to lose this chapter because Erec dies.NPC phase No, the A.I. of the NPCs is smart enough in this hack.Turn 17Player phase You must pay, you lucky bastard! Ragnar can oneround the boss but I highly guess he'll switch to the lancereaver in enemy phase. Ragnar hits twice and the boss does too. His weapon is switched to the naginata not to have a weapon disadvantage. Agro can't kill the other cavalier.Enemy phase Haha... ha... FUCK [spoiler=You know what will happen] GAME OVER of course Ok, that will be on my head. I totally forgot about his silver lance. I guess I was still on tilt about this stupid death. But there's a good point about this death: Melanie will be revieved because I have to replay this chapter. HOORAY!!! Actually I didn't. :P She doesn't deserve it for letting me down. So no! I only show the bossfight and the level ups of the replayed part.Turn 17Player phase Ragnar with full HP can take a shot by the short spear and the silver lance.Enemy phase Ok, better now! ;) Erec and Guntram are safe meanwhile.Turn 18Player phase Thanks Goodness! His level up is ok. Well, I had a very bad conscience on all Melanie-fans (if they even exist) and myself, so heavy-heartedly I replayed the chapter from an earlier point (where Melanie still was alive). Tbh I had to revive her because she had the mend staff from one of the chests and I was out of vulneraries and healing items at the end of this chapter. Here are updated level ups: Donwik's level up is almost the same as in the first attempt but no speed here unfortunately.Bitch gets strength again which is nice but no defense this time. magic Tero finishes the boss this time and gets a splendid level up. IT'S DONE!!! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE AT ONCE BEFORE... The situation seems to be under control for now... ... till Drogan is teleported. Of course Guntram isn't very delighted about the sudden appearance of this "guest". King Erec meets Drogan the first time so he needs information who he is. Erec feels the title as arrogant. After a bit Drogan comes to business: He attacks Erec. Erec is heavily wounded but his injuries aren't fatal. Drogan advices Guntram not to let his revenge feeling out on him right now. Ragnar joins when it's already too late. When Ragnar is here, the freak has to be here too. Psycho-games Ragnar doesn't think it's all over yet. Ragnar doesn't want to believe that Zerenus' army is demoralized has no chance to withstand Silvatica. However it's still unknown what Drogan and Rashka actually want: Guntram is chosen. What a promise: Guntram gets captured and therefore Silvatica will end their assault. As if! Ragnar knows it's just a just trap... ... but Guntram has no other choice to accept their "promise". Ragnar's reaction is obvious: He's shocked and can't understand Guntram. But he must realize it's over for Azalia right now. Guntram still belives in a positive turning. It's important that Ragnar still trusts him. Drogan and Rasha leave the castle along with Guntram. Erec will be recovered. still under shock Erec wakes up and gets the horrible news that Guntram was taken. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 8 part 1 Spoiler A messanger comes in with news. Erec: Gimme your good news!!! Messanger: ... But it's not good news. Erec: Fuck! Erec gets the news but its content is unknon yet. After a while Ragnar arrives. Of course he's still worrying about his condition because he was very silent recently. Erec wants to confront him with the newa he just got. SHIT!!! It becomes even worse. ... to fall into this trap. Of course he can't since the army is depleted and demoralised. Ragnar: ... His silence makes him sick. He wants an emotional reaction of Ragnar. Against of thinking he comes with this suicidal plan. Erec: (why do you want to do sacrifice you and your allies?) Erec tries to make him clear that Ragnar's batallaion is outnumbered and will send his platoon and himself to a secure death. Ragnar tries to do everything to save Guntram even if the chance is alomst zero. Erec is questioning about his relationship to Guntram. He does't understand why he gives up everything for him. Ragnar doesn't give an answer. Ragnar goes even so far to reoppose his oreders. a good advice Ragnar leaves Erec and is going to meed Donwik. Ragnar is already more wordy than in his conversation with Erec. It shows that Ragnar's trust to Donwik is very close. Ragnar brings him the news about Guntram's upcoming execution. He begs indirectly for Donwik's help. But he makes him clear it's easier said than done. This conversation turns into the same: Donwik refuses Ragnar's plan with the reason that it will turn into in a self-massacre. He wants to prevent at any price that Ragnar's going to do his own thing. pure despair Also Donwik wants to know why Guntram is so important for him. This time Ragnar gives an answer: He owes everything to him and it's his duty to pay his debt by saving him. There might be a chance to reach the capital in time. Ragnar's surprised that Donwik's stance has changed and he might follow Ragnar's plan now. Ragnar begs for his loyality. a clear answer Meanwhile in They want to use this place to rest here. But nothing will come of it. Because bandits need a source of income in person of Ragnar. The boss is going to pay Ragnar a visit. Time to kick these bounty hunters their ass!MapEnemies This chapter is swordfriendly because you fight lots of axe and sword users and a few archers. They carry iron, steel, reavers and crit weapons. Their stats aren't much improved compared to the previous chapters, so you shouldn't have a hard time to beat them. The two most dangerous enemies on the map. There's also a pirate with a blood axe. The leader is another mercnary (already third) who has similar stats to the previous ones. However he's more powerful because of his silver sword. You have to take him out within 25 turns to win this chapter. If not, GAME OVER! 25 turns is ridiculous much for this small map and the relative low number of enemies, so I guess lots of reinforcements will appear. There are two red houses you want to visit. Hurry up because thieves wants to do the same. (idc for the yellow houses so I'll ignore them) Also there's an amory and vendor. It's the perfect time to sell worthy items (red jewel) and almost broken weapons and stock up your inventory with weapons.Turn 1Player phase There's absolute no need to defend. Ragnar and Melanie take out the merc Abner and Donwik kill the brigand Mil and Agro kill the arm brigand Tero onerounds the fighter Kai and Kiowa weak the merc next to Tero There's a little different between brigands and arm brigands besides of their sprite. Arm brigands belong to the armor class which means that weapons like glam, hammer or heavy spear do effective damage to them. It's a thing which also exists in The Last Promise.Enemy phase I didn't pay attention with Rinoa tbh. But her HP is high enough to take three hits by this archer.Turn 2Player phase Agro's going to attract the hand axe fighter left of the thief (who didn't move btw). Donwik and Melanie kill the archer Kiowa and Abner kill the brigand Kai finishes the weaken merc from the first turn off Mil has better accuracy now.Enemy phase Agro gets more strength and speed which is really satisying. However attracting the hand axe fighter wasn't a great idea because he could do only little damage and attracted one more enemy with the longbow archer.Turn 3Player phase Agro retreats from the wall and finishes off the weaken fighter by Mil Abner and Dowik kill the pirate Mil, Kai and Melanie kill the merc decent level, no level and meh level Tero will tank here.Enemy phase It was closer than I expected.Turn 4Player phase Tero fulfilled his role of the Jagen perfectly. All hurt enemies can be killed. Abner kills a weaken merc Melanie kills a weaken myrm Mil kills another weaken merc Kiowa kills another weaken myrm Agro onerounds a steel bow archer Tero onerounds an iron bow archer Sweet! This area is cleared with all teampower I got. The low HP of my units (mainly Tero) doesn't matter. The thief is too weak to kill him. Excellent, more speed!Enemy phase not too bad Edited April 3, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 8 part 2 Spoiler Turn 5 first reinforcements - no big deal Player phase The "reward" for stealing back the portion. Kai and Melanie kill the thief. Some nice goodies in the vendor. I buy a few tomes and staves. Tero is healed and will attract the reinforcements. He can kill him in the next turn. Enemy phase more RNG sauce At least the RNG is kind to the enemy. Turn 6 Player phase Mil finishes off the fighter Abner and Kai take out the archer Agro is going to visit the village: It's like a slim lance with brave effect. Give it to Melanie because it's the only lance she can use without AS penalty. Donwik finishes off the weaken hand axe fighter. Enemy phase Turn 7 Player phase More power. Strength and speed still can be maxed. Abner pokes the brigand and gets rescued and dropped after that. Ragnar finishes him off. Melanie is out of weapons for the moment. She'll get the quick lance as soon as possible. one of very few delicious levels of her Enemy phase Turn 8 More reinforcements appear. One of them is another thief (with an assassin sprite for some reason) who has a stealable red gem. Of course I want to grab it. You can see here how great the glam is against this arm brigand. Mil and Kai kill the other one. He gets two useful stats. However it's another chapter with very few level up gains so far. Ragnar and Kiowa kill this one and gets a good level. His speed is already great. If he got strength, it'd be great. Enemy phase Another heartattack: Accidently I placed Tero in the range of the blood sword myrmidon. Thankfully he doesn't crit, he even misses. Turn 9 Player phase Kai and Kiowa and Ragnar kill this pirate. Ragnar gets another good level. His balance is incredible. He still could max strength, speed and defense. Tero finishes of the myrm with the blood sword. Agro is attracting the blood bow archer. Enemy phase Shall I be happy that he didn't crit? Turn 10 Player phase More reinforcements and Tero is low on health. If he equips the sword, he should be fine... but Idk if I can trust the RNG anymore since last chapter. Mil kills the weaken thief. Melanie finally can do something again. There aren't many enemies left. But I still have to visit the other red village and enter the amory. Enemy phase SCARY!!! That's the thank for still letting you alive!? Turn 11 Player phase Mil kills the battle axe fighter who hurt Donwik Donwik kills the brigand with the nanbanfu Ragnar kills the weaken myrmidon Abner kills the weaken battle axe fighter Tero's going shopping: Steel weapons and effective weapons against knights. I buy a steel dagger for Abner and a heavy spear for Domwik. Tero's in serious danger. One axe in the face will knock him off. Standing in the amory gives +10 evasion. Hopefully enough to survive. Enemy phase Surprisingly the archer decides to attack Kiowa instead of Tero who can counterattack. Stupid but good for me. Turn 12 Player phase Tero uses a portion to take one hit Kiowa kills the archer who attacked him in the last enemy phase Donwik is going to visit the other red house: [spoiler=Donwik gets information of a prison but gained nothing here]I'm highly sure that this village will give you a sidequest after this chapter. another typical awful level - She'll reach level 20. Agro hits and boss misses. But it'll change when he has changed to his silver sword. Abner is placed next to the boss too. Enemy phase 1/2 hits ... at least strength Tero gets attacked by a couple of axeusers but dodges twice. Turn 13 Player phase Kiowa pokes the arm brigand. same as in the previous turn However this time Abner retreats because he can't take another shot by the boss. Enemy phase no surprise Turn 14 Player phase Tero and Kiowa kill the brigand. The arm brigand will be lucky. Agro finishes the chapter and gets a typical fighter level. Again I'm a bit angry about some level ups. As I said 25 turns is way too much. OH CRAP... more reinforcements - MORE powerful ones They do literally everything - independent how dirty their act is - to get information about Ragnar's remain. Just bad luck! It doesn't count for them. The soldier brings the obtained information to the boss: more slavery Donwik would like to know why Ragnar is still so calm about the upcoming operation and doesn't share an exact plan how to manage it. Ragnar doesn't know. Ragnar feigns the situation to him with his calmness and self-confidence. Of course he's doubting about his acts right now because he lost lots of allies and civilians in the war. But he doesn't want to seem self-doubtful to demoralize his friends. He really knows that the chance of victory is low but he still believes in it and wants to motivate the others to continue the war. This cutscene is only shown, if you have recruited Mil and visited the house in the south-west. Mil has the hope that his mother is among the slaves. So he indirectly asks them if they could do a detour to the prison to help him. Of course Donwik refuses because there's no time to lose. Saving Guntram and saving Azalia has the highest priority for now. Mil threatens them that he's going on his own. After begging Ragnar finally decided to fulfill Mil's request. Of course Mil is relieved. On the other hand Donwik is surprised and asks Ragnar why he's going to spend time for "trivialities". Ragnar gives him no clear answer. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 8x Spoiler They've reached the prison Silvatica thinks that no one cares for the prisioners, so it's very poorly guarded. Ragnar wants to take advantage of it. Hope dies last. Ragnar: Don't! I can feel that you're a nervous wreck but please hold together! Being detected wouldn't make the situation easier. I'll promise to find your mom, alive Mil: I didn't say I'd. I know what I may do, and what not. I'm anxious but not an idtiot. Oh oh... Other soldier: It was just my empty purse. They're going to check out the situation. Now they know they're not alone anymore. Detected!Battle preparations Agro uses the sacred ring to get +2 res. Map Chapter 8x is a prison break chapter with Fug of War. So it's highly recommend to bring Abner to see a few enemies in the beginning. These are the visable enemies: first trap: One of the soldiers has a horseslayer. I expect more nasty surprises. All the enemies have the same stats and level as in chapter 8. All the civilians have no stats except for con and move. I have no idea what to do with them. In any case Ragnar shall talk to them. My thoughts are that they're going to escape and I might get a rewared for letting all of them alive (and escape). It's the only female civilian, so Mil shall check out if it's his mother.Turn 1Player phase A cavalier is detected which also has effective weapon against cavaliers. Bad news for the nomad! My problem could be that I didn't bring Rinoa and I'm almost out of portions. Hopefully my units can manage it somehow. Tero and Abner kill the longbow archer and Abner obtains the longbow. Unfortunately there was no way to kill the soldier with the horseslayer.Enemy phase Tero took quite a bit damage by the horseslayer. At least the zanbato cavalier couldn't attack Kiowa because the steel lance soldier blocked his attack position.Turn 2Player phase Here are two cavaliers in my field of sight now I've to take out. This chapter looks quite tough so far. Kai finishes off the soldier with the horseslayer Abner kills the fighter Tero kills the soldier on the pillar Agro onerounds another soldier (left from the soldier on the pillar) I couldn't do anything to the two cavaliers yet. Mil can't only oneround knights but also soldiers now. He gets an excellent level up (more offense and speed). Donwik kills the zanbato cavalier and gets the worst possible two stater and obtains a chest key. Ragnar checks out, if there are any enemies. His defense is high enough to take a few hits.Enemy phase Indeed - there were a couple of enemies. Of course 31% hits.Turn 3 a reinforcement soldier - I guess not the only reinforcementPlayer phase Mil onerounds the reinforcement soldier Donwik and Ragnar kills the myrm Kiowa kills the cav. with the heavy spear ...and gets strength at least. Other group: Abner kills the axe cavalier (without taking damage this time) Tero and Kai kill the other cavalier It's the second time in the row that he got this level up. Strength is noce, but a bit more defense wouldn't be bad either.Enemy phase another reinforcement (I couldn't see in player phase)Turn 4Player phase It's the one who guards the cell of the woman. Agro can kill him in enemy phase. Donwik and Kiowa kill the female myrmidon. Once more Ragnar has to check out the situation. A torch would be very nice. Unfortunately I haven't got one yet and I'm pretty sure that I haven't missed one yet.Enemy phase Agro kills the knight and obtains another door key.Turn 5Player phase Donwik and Ragnar take out the weaken merc. Tero weakens the knight and Kai finishes him off and gets speed and another door key. Abner opens the cell door, so Mil could talk to the woman in a couple of turns turn. Agro enters his room and has equipped the nanbanfu for now because there's a myrm. inside.Enemy phase Hah... no damage to a fighter. You don't see that often tbh. And he gets a decent level up. His strength became better and better after starting problems. Now I only wish that he could get a bit more speed.Turn 6Player phase Abner opens another cell door. Also you see that NPCs don't move after you opened their cells. That means they only might do, after someone has talked to them. Unfortunately Donwik isn't fast enough to double him but at least he can tworound him.Enemy phase Donwik finishes off the weaken knight Agro finishes off the weaken myrm another enemy from nowhere - of course with an effective weapon A crit would have killed Donwik.Turn 7 more reinforcements The problem is that I don't know if they go for the prisioners. If they do and the prisioners don't want to escape, then I might get a problem.Player phase Mil can't talk to her, so his mom insn't in this map apparently. He must keep her safe by blocking the entrance. Kiowa gets the first chest: white gem a reinforcement knightEnemy phase Mil kills the weaken myrm. The cell is safe for now. Donwik takes more damage by the archer with the armor bow. Turn 8Player phase I'm tired of reinforcements. The stairs will be blocked. Tero kills the archer with the armor bow. Abner obtains the second chest: pyro = elfireEnemy phase nothing happensTurn 9Player phase Abner opens the final chest: master key He restocked them. Even Ragnar can't talk to them, so I don't really understand the point of the civilians. Maybe they'll move, if the wall right of this civilian is destroyed.Enemy phase SHOOT!!! Another reinforcement knight appeared from nowhere and killed this prisioner. At least I got the needed information about the A.I. behavior of the enemies. I replayed this turn because I think I will get something, if all of them survive. Since I know now that Ragnar can't talk to the NPCs, he blocks the stairs and Donwik damages the wall again. Note: These knight appear as ambush apparently. Otherwise Ragnar wouldn't be able to block the stairs.Turn 10 Nothing happens except that walls are more damaged.Turn 11Player phase The escape way is free and the last cell is opened. Now I'm excited what the NPCs will do.Enemy phase The NPCs do absolutely nothing! I needed two turns to bring my units together. A few still block the stairs to prevent more reinforcements.Turn 13Player phase Abner opens the exit door (where the boss has to be) He detects two myrmidons - both with blood swords. Tero has to block them. If there are more enemies than these two and the myrms crit him... it could become very close for him.Enemy phase no critTurn 14Player phase Here's the boss, another mercenary! However unlike the previous ones he's tougher because he has better stats and a 1-2 range sword (light sword). He's inaccurate but very powerful and somewhat fast. Kiowa kills the weaken f. myrm and obtains a blood sword Ragnar kills the weaken m. myrm and gets more speed - nice!Enemy phase Where the fuck did he come from??? replaying turn 14Turn 14Player phase No one can enter now. Enemy phase This hurts! The fighter attacks Kai now and hits him. A hidden archer attacks Agro and hits him too. I have to beat this chapter as quickly as I can not to lose anyone. My units aren't able to tank for that long. Turn 15 Player phase Tero retreats and uses a portion. Great!!! Will I get my second Game Over in a row? Agro pokes the archer. Kai misses the fighter who attacked him in the previous enemy phase. Enemy phase The archer hits Agro again. Kai dodges the fighter this time. Thankfully Ragnar dodges! Two more cavaliers here! Damn, I must finish this chapter in the next turn! Turn 16 Player phase Agro finishes off the axe cavalier. Kai and Mil kill the fighter. Tero, Abner and finally Ragnar take down the boss. Abner gets a good level. Speed is maxed and more offensive power. Mil has the certainity that his mom wasn't here. Ragnar: I'm sorry Mil... but we have to move on. Mil: Rinoa comforts him and cries with him. Poor guy :( Edited April 3, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
X-Naut
The prisoners have a purpose other than stand there and look squishy, you just need to have Mil talk to them all in counterclockwise order. What you get isn't necessary but it's a nice commodity. And I'm fairly certain there are non-stair reinforcement groups later in the chapter. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 9 part 1 Spoiler Silvatica conqured Free Keep. It's another prison. Of course Ragnar wants to resuce the slaves... ... to gain more allies. Dreams will be dreams. Bad news! Silvatica started a surprising assault. It comes to an awkward time for them because they don't have anymore time to lose for Guntram's freeing. *yet* - That means it's going to change Mil makes him clear that the civilians are totally unexperienced in war. But Ragnar doesn't care. He needs them. Mil appeals on Ragnar's sanity to spare the civilians because they won't survive the upcoming battle. Mil doesn't want to hear any excuses. He wants to know how many soldiers will survive. Ragnar can't give an exact answer. Even after repeating the question Ragnar still can give any promises.Map In chapter 9 you can choosed between two mission objectives: seizing the three forts defeating all enemies For both missions there's a turnlimit of 22 turns. It's the hardest chapter for me because the army is split and most allies don't have any portions. Note: I recommend to bring the tankiest units to the central area because there are the most enemies. Bring a unit with a high defense there. I choose Vidar because Donwik is more needed in the central area. The forts are guided by knights who have a spear. They're really powerful. Mil can onerond them but his hitrate isn't the best because of the evasion boost on the throne. The boss is very powerful but kinda slow. Abner, Ivari and naginata are pretty good against him.Turn 1Player phase an excellent start - These stats will help him later in this chapter Killing these knights has the highest priority. Idk if they move but I don't want to check it out by letting them attack my units. 86% isn't enough. Kai and Melanie kill this merc.Enemy phase announcment I: The bridges will be destroyed soon. That means everyone has to horry to cross the river. It'll problematic for Vidar and Kiowa. announcement II: Reinforcement cavaliers will appear from the north.Enemy phase Melanie takes damage by a short spear soldier and a shine monk. Mil onerounds a thunder mage without taking damage. VIdar kills the f. myrm. Vidar takes damage by the soldier with the bloodlance. Thankfully he didn't crit because otherwise Vidar would be dead already. Vidar takes more damage by a knight with a steel bow. He has only five HP and neither Kiowa nor him have any portions. Both have a serious problem right now, especially Vidar!Turn 2 Player phase One serious problem is gone. Vidar has to retreat and Kiowa must tank for him now. His level up is excellent. Only strength and speed count for me. Offense is the best defense! It's a bit risky but I trust my units that they're going to survive. Donik and Agro kill this fighter. Abner onerounds this monk. Kai and Melanie kill the soldier. Enemy phase Wow! Mil did a fantastic job here with dodging these attacks. He could be dead, if the myrm with the blood sword. A good thing that the archer decided to attack in combat instead of using the ballista. I can kill him in the next turn. My units are invincible! It's ok, I guess. Only 2/8 enemies could hit me. This went well!Turn 3Player phase Melanie kills the soldier who hurt Kai. Ragnar kills the khajar merc. Mil onerounds the longbow archer. Agro kills the arm brigand with the hand axe not to take any damage. Tero kills the naginata cav. and switches Agro's weapon to a swordreaver. Kiowa and Vidar kill the f. myrm. That means Vidar with his five HP left is on the one front line and there's a knight left who can attack him... DAMN!!! His last level up most likely - It's one of his best unironically And I have to worry about Mil because I couldn't take out the myrm with the blood sword.Enemy phase YES!!! Mil is ON FIRE - still untouched Sorry dude, but I had to sacrifice you. Your level ups weren't worthy enough to keep you in my team.Deathcount: 4 But no reset this time!Turn 4Player phase not too bad The last dangerous enemy is gone. Kiowa still can't cross the bridge because of the knight. He's placed in a forest right now and should be fine there. Agro will get attacked by the first guard.Enemy phase Merc attacks Mil, who dodges again and hits him. Knight does 11 damage to Agro, who does 2x5 damage back. Nomad with an armor bow misses Agro. Therefore he hits him twice and the nomad has only two HP left. Kiowa dodges the knight and hits him twice. He can kill him in the next turn. Mil gets the same level up like Ragnar. It's not great, but more speed is nice. His evasion is more increased. Agro gets a really good level up. More speed and defense are nice. He's a very balanced fighter except for resistance.Turn 5Player phase Agro finishes off the first guard. Tero kills the weaken nomad. Mil onerounds the second guard. Two forts can be captured right now. Abner and Mil kill the merc who was weaken by Mil. Kiowa kills the weaken knight. He's safe for now but couldn't cross the bridge yet. Excellent! Melanie flies back to an armory: You can buy silver weapons here. I bought two silver lances and a silver axe. Note: Silver weapons only require weapon level B.Enemy phase first short of this ballista - one damage Damn! The bridges are destroyed now! Kiowa will stuck. Just one single turn too late.Turn 6Player phase First fort is captured. Tero onerounds the ballista archer. Donwik kills the weaken cavalier... ... and gets like nothing for it. This chapter is cleared already. Ragnar can face the boss in the next turn. Second fort is captured.Enemy phase Edited April 3, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 9 part 2 Spoiler Turn 7Player phase The bridge was exploded. Kiowa is fucked. I don't expect that the boss will hit him twice in a row. A dream came true. He has the ultimate chance to face Ragnar. ... but a victory still will be a dream (hopefully). Tero onerounds the nomad.Enemy phase Ragnar dodges the boss again.Turn 8 some reinforcements - nastyPlayer phase Ragnar and Abner kill an axe knight And that's it for now, because no one else can reach them. I'm more worried about Abner than about Ragnar tbh. I attract the cavs. with someone who can't counterattack.Enemy phase This went well!Turn 9 Player phase CRAP - more of them Mil onerounds the cav. with the steel sword who hurt Rinoa Kai onerounds the cav. with the horseslayer Donwik pokes a cav. Enemy phase Abner dodges two cavaliers and the ballista Rinoa takes more damage by a cav. with the hammer. She has only three HP left. Ragnar takes seven damage by a steel sword cavalier and misses him twice with the axereaver. Therefore he dodges the boss again and hits him. He has only four HP left now. Turn 10Player phase The worst problem is gone. Ragnar get more defense. What a speed wall! Agro kills the cav. with the horseslayer Tero kills the cav. with the steel sword Mil onerounds the cav. with the hammer who hurt Rinoa Abner and Donwik kill the hand axe cav. ... and gets a good level up. (more attackpower and accuracy) All cavaliers are gone! Only the ballista is left who doesn't bother me at all.Enemy phase The ballista misses Abner once more.Turn 11Player phase Ragnar can seize. I needed exactly the half of turns the mission gave me as limit. The 312 prisioners could be saved safely. At least their physical condition is decent but of course they're still under shock. Of course Ragnar has a plan what to do with the remaining prisioners. With a motivation speech he "recruits" the prisioners to establish a milita against Silvatica. He needs all manpower he can get. Of course his promise is empty because the soldiers won't survive the assault. They only serve as canon fodder. Vidar and Donwik realize Ragnar's true intentions. Of course Tero doesn't... at least he doesn't want. After Guntram's capturing Ragnar doesn't care about lives anymore. Guntram's life is more important for him than the one of obscure civilians. Tero: Please don't tell me it's true. Later that night: His motivation speech was succesful. He could recruit the remained soldier for his purpose. This night shall be used to teach the unexperienced soldiers the basics in combat. Ragnar's allies may rest. He did truly everything to reach this goal. Drogan reports the mysterious voice about the latest happenings. It asks Drogan what Ragnar is going to do with the rescued slaves. Its target was to make Ragnar the same what they are. Sacrificing helpless people in a war. Guntram's appearance blinded Ragnar completly. By capturing Guntram, Ragnar became truly the marionette for them. He did literally everything to save Guntram. That's exactly what the mysterious voice wanted to see happen. Bringing Ragnar to Guntram is its ultimate goal... ... to possesse over both. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 10 is the last chapter of Ragnar's story. This hack has three more chapters with a new lord. After uploading chapter 10 I'll do a break and will upload the upcoming chapters with a bit delay.Chapter 10 part 1 Spoiler Chapter 10A destroyed hope Ragnar wants to know everything of the soldier: number of soldiers left ammu for the catapults morale He gives him only positive answers. Their condition is really good and they are optimistic. Also there's enough amminution for the catapults. He may not sink the morale. Ragnar still justifies his plan. Mil drummed up the Nazurian civilians.Mil really hopes that Ragnar will turn back to his previous ego after this battle... and he won't waste anymore lives just to save a "higher" one. Meanwhile in The hope that everything will turn out well. Forcing revenge feelings down the civilians' throat. The charge begins. Panic among the Silvaticans. His dream will come true. Instead of giving them instructions he's only thinking of Ragnar! They can enter now. Inside the castle after a little bit Who can it just be? SURPRISE!!! No time for long talk. Ragnar comes straight to the point. He doesn't know where he is. He might be crazy but he's credible. Rashka's argument is that Ragnar forced many civilians in the war and brought them their death. IT'S SHOWTIME! a hint about reinforcements Now, Ragnar's questioning himself. Donwik calms him down. He realized (too late) what he did. Donwik takes his burden from his shoulders. They're all in the same boat. late insight Again Donwik tries to calm him down. It's the wrong time to question this mission. Yes, he has! Map Chapter 10 is another indoor map. Again you can choose between two paths. The generics are level 10 who aren't too tough. But they have silver weapons now. Also some effective, killer and reaver weapons are thrown towards you. And much more will come later! Also bring silver weapons to this chapter. Hopefully you bought a few in the previous chapter. Rasha is guarded by five level 10 second tier units with silver and blood weapons. They will destroy you! [spoiler=How to beat them?]By nearing the throne room, they'll disappear. Rashka himself is one of the biggest joke bosses I've ever seen. He's a maxed level hero and has two very powerul axes but his stats except of HP are basically the same (and even worse) as the mercenary bosses you fought before. His 50 HP will be down crazy fast. It's even possible to oneround him. If he's down, the vicotry is yours!First prepromoted generic: A sniper with an improved longbow. He has a stealable energydrop. This mage in this isolated area is kinda pointless. You can ignore him easily, if you choose the south-eastern path. Turn 1 Player phase Sliver and effective weapons make my life much easier. Agro can oneround the knight with the silver axe who drops a door key. Kiowa and Melanie take out this mage. Both take damage. Melanie gets another depressing level up. Ragnar pokes the f. merc inside the chest room. Enemy phase Ragnar kills the f. merc. The enemies in this chapter hurt you seriously. Turn 2 Player phase Donwik and Kai kill the silver bow knight. He drops a chest key. Badrick is attracting a soldier, who has a blood lance. Not really the stats I'm looking for. Agro and Abner kill this merc. Enemy phase Thankfully no crit. Badrick wouldn't survive a crit. Edited April 3, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
