The DanMan
...So the Treehouse is doing it? Not sure how to feel about this. I've played Kid Icarus Uprising and I thought the translation was really good with what was in the Japanese script :o The dialogue and script was great and very funny. Heck, Pit even made a joke about taking off his pants in the hot spring for the English release. And there was also a character in that game who had a rather large chest and she wasn't censored at all so I don't think we have to worry about Camilla being censored. I believe there was a bunch of different people who worked on the script, including (correct me if I'm wrong) a former writer for The Onion. Fates definitely doesn't have a collaboration script like that. Though maybe they'll keep it truer to the Japanese version (outside of names, obviously). (Spoilered for rant) Though yeah, the people acting like they'd have to censor this game to hell and back to get a T rating haven't played that many T-rated games. Basically, if you want a game to stay rated T: no full on nudity, sex scenes (or direct discussions about it), gore, or f-bombs dropped; that's it. I'd just like to point out that BlazBlue has a T rating, with such things as "sexual themes" and "partial nudity" on the label. Then there are the games like Halo, which is rated M simply because of bloodstain (and to compare the two examples, BlazBlue has an arguably more brutal form of violence and definitely has more in the realm of profanity, with a half-nude squirrel girl and a liberal amount of innuendos). And then there's Persona 4: Arena, with Yu's story opening with him being asked to pick up a nurse porno for a friend. Rated T for teen. Aquakat
Speaking of other games rated T despite copious amounts of fanservice and serious war drama stuff... Record of Agarest War is rated T. And, trust me, that has designs and scenes FAR more risque.

Fateborn
Example? :o Here's one. There's a scene with the fox girl character in the game where she's tied up because she has sexual urges and couldn't control herself. Also, Record of Agarest War's warfare are pretty brutal if you think about it, it's not really displayed only referred. There's also Star Ocean The Last Hope. Just... Walking fanservice. There's also this character. The girl in the bed is literally "suggestive sexual" scenegirl. She's young and innocent but everything she does is just a turn-on because she wants the main character aka Edge (guy on the bed) So yeah. Both T rated. We're good. I hope. Morgan
So I have a question on how this game will work in terms of third route, the limited edition, and buying the route you didn't get in the cartridge. First, if I get the limited edition (by some miracle) are the Hoshido and Nohr routes all in the cartridge and won't take up blocks on my 3DS. I only have around 4,000 something blocks so I'm very scared about how much my 3DS can hold or if I'll be able to hold all the paths. Also with the limited edition, will the third path take up blocks once it's released in the United States, or will it be imported into the cartridge? Second, if we don't get the limited edition. If I get the Hoshido route and then want to play Nohr and the third path, do BOTH of those take up blocks? I'm just concerned on how much space I have or of I need to get more blocks. Sorry if this has been answered...
The DanMan
I'd also like to add Supreme Commander and Azure Striker Gunvolt to the list, except in this case they're rated E10+ (but you'd think they'd be T). In Supreme Commander, there's definitely a fair amount of language (though it doesn't get past damn, hell, and crap, quite a few characters use them frequently). In Gunvolt, there are such lines as "Next time, hottie: ... don't wear a shirt", and a character who is meant to embody Lust from the seven deadly sins, and has the power to mess with peoples' senses; the end result is they're true gender is unknown. Not only does their male design have a sizable crotch spike on their armor, but they drop a handful of innuendos ("A plug for every socket, a socket for every plug."). So, yeah. The ESRB is weird with their ratings. Edited June 30, 2015 by The DanMan

I was thinking Lavinia. (Images aren't cooperating with me, sadly, so I can't post hers) Not to mention marriage is a thing in this game too, with kids... and after the wedding, you get a scene of the chosen girl wearing nothing but a bedsheet. And THEN you have the actual war stuff. Mess up, and you've entire cities destroyed, and the game pulls no punches in showing you the aftermath of it. Reflex
M is basically a single F word minimum and/or actual nudity. That's why that one Ace Attorney game is rated M, because they had a use of F word.
Aquakat
Yeah, pretty much. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen an older ranked Japanese game be rated for younger kids overseas with most everything in tact. For instance, some of their otome games are rated T overseas, but M there, and the only differences tend to just be cultural things.
Fateborn
Oh Gods I hated Star Ocean: The Last Hope............. :X Why would you hate it? It's a masterpiece. It has assets on par as Camilla. LOLIS. CHILDHOOD FRIEND WANTING YOUR D. The combat was slightly behind because they apparently forgot to put in target switch function, but it was very good nonetheless. The combat was slightly behind because they apparently forgot to put in target switch function, but it was very good nonetheless. PLAYABLE CHARACTER TURNS EVIL I for one personally liked SO4, but the character designs, while they looked good, also had a slight look of lifelessness to it. The characters were hit or miss for me, with Sarah & Lymle being unbearable for me. Bacchus & Arumat were my boys because of the Rule of Cool (especially after they learned Black Hole Sphere and Dragon Roar respectively). I wanted to like Edge, but I just couldn't relate to a degree or something. I dunno, and the combat was alright. A bit missing from it, but I at least beat it on Chaos difficulty, so I guess that counts for something. tl;dr: Bacchus and Arumat (and Myuria too...kek) were the best things out of that game, and Lymle is derp incarnate, imo. EDIT: I just checked the news (thank you based Vincent), and saw that Azura's necklase is a collector's item. I so want it, then saw that it's limited to 700. The DLC that are floating around on the Internet is around 400MB (which also includes Hoshido and Nohr path for those who don't have special edition), so I think that's enough. Erdall
Oohhh, I can't help but think of Pirates of the Caribbean when I listen to this! "You will always remember this as the day you almost caught Captain Kamui Spa ...” [Takes a hit from a Ballista] OH F***K! Reset!? Bring it on! ** *Throws away the Nintendo 3DS to an opened window* " My waifu(s), D': " ** P.S: I do really really hope you will get the reference when you realize where it comes from ... You continue to deliver, good sir Faved once again. Glad you like my little uploads! I like the calm version as well. I actually like the fact that theres a calm and aggressive variant of many songs in the game (and Awakening). Oops, then my second video is about the battle version. Time to change the name! Whoa, this is awesome O__O Glad you like my little uploads (too)! Unfortunately, I shall warn you that I am not gonna upload much more, just did it because, for once, I desired to reach a video with 1k views. At least I think I have to do somehting that amazing before to die. Right? Right? NOTE: Also don't foget you can download any youtube video's sound by this website, just saying. P.S 2: More Waifu Confessions from both paths, better quality HOSHIDO NOHR Edited June 30, 2015 by Erdall

carefreejules
Well, seems that if you marry Zero and M!Kamui or Shara and F!Kamui you don't get Kanna or Eponine... I heard about that too. It does mention that they eventually adopted a child in their post-game ending, but it still is disheartening. In no way do I agree with this way of thinking but maybe they thought that it would be odd if the child looked the same whether you choose to conceive the child or whether you choose to adopt (considering that some of the children adopt a physical characteristic from their dad) but even still they should have at least made an effort to come up with an alternative option because people who choose this option because it reflects their sexuality, are still being neglected an opportunity which isn't right. Like idk, create two other children options that come from being adopted. If you're gonna make Eponine be Zero's daughter and Kanna be Kamui's daughter, then they should have stuck with that regardless of who marries who. It'll just make a lot more people happy. I agree, hell I don't even think that entirely new characters had to be made, except obviously for Kanna. Eponine doesn't resemble Zero all that much in my opinion and they can just give her the default "brown-grey" hair color rather than the avatar's as they do with all the other kids. Azz
Or they could have done an FE: 4 on it and made replacement units that would be their adopted sons/daughters.
NeonZ
How would these people even be "adopted children" if they didn't grow up with their parents though? Remember, the set up here involves them sending their children to another world in order to protect them. That really wouldn't fit well alongside adoption at all.
