With no real concern for her safety. Moving quickly forward, he said quickly, "Sorry about this, but we can't risk letting you get swarmed." He then grabbed her arm and pulled her behind him before setting himself in a defensive casting position, ready to respond to any enemy attacks. Owen's steps denied any haste as he tried to keep vision of the wyvern riders. Wonderful allies, ravenous enemies. Wasn't exactly hard to figure that with how one lunged aggressively at Angus. Speaking of, another rider had been taken out in short notice, none other than Cassandra extending far into the frontline, of course. That was enough to hasten Owen's pace, getting to the scene just after Niko. "Right. Good job, Cass, but that could've been dangerous had you missed. Stay by me." Owen's worry was perhaps overbearing, softened in his gentler mannerisms as he placed a hand over Cassandra's shoulder, only urging her stepping aside rather than using force. "Stay alert, though. Not likely, there would be a visible Kylander banner... Or at least a sign, this was likely to be bandit reinforcements... Or worse." Lionel, quickly moves to (19,11). Quickly speaking to his allies at large. "There are strange sounds coming from various sides of the forest... I suspect more mercenaries, or maybe some of Dettards own personal army is joining the fray..." He said grimly. Quickly trying to think of situations in case of a pincer attack. "Quickly attempt to rout the nearby group, draw in the wyvern flying above, and we should be able to handle the rear flank from there." He said leaning on his lance as he spoke. Lionel paused for a moment and looked at everyone who could spare their ears in turn, upon noticing the new person among the ranks, he quickly pointed at Fabian "Well met Sir, do you have any knowledge of the surrounding area that could clue us in to possible threats?" She was nearly ready to charge forward and finish him herself, but a hand on her shoulder shoved her aside, much to her chagrin. "Do not presume to touch me, mercenary," she grumbled, despite his words ringing true. Owen stepped in not a moment after to reassure her with the same things. She folded her arms and grumbled louder, but kept any further comments to herself. While she was sure of her ability, it wouldn't do to give these bandits a moment to strike, lest their gain a second wind and charge through the entire party. And, at least, she wasn't left without a target, as one of the brutes seemingly ignored her outright, and brought himself far too close. "Are you even paying attention?"
