If an insult's not real, then you shouldn't get offended?

This always bothered me, precisely because it isn't true. I'm the kind of person that doesn't have the natural capability of "ignoring" somone. I head straight to the source and attack it. I think it's the very pathetic attempt at an insult that bothers me more than the actual "insult".

you should always get embroiled in every internet argument that you see, and shouting back at them is the best way to pacify troublemakers.

good luck!

That always makes me feel better

What do you mean by "insults that are not real"?

i don't actually understand this

I still don't get it

Anyways, this makes perfect sense to me and Soul: Try to ignore it, you said you have a hard time doing that but it's not worth reacting to in the end.

no, really, what does he mean

does he mean like people are calling him a faggot when he's not gay so it's not real in that sense or does he mean people are coming up with a 'pathetic attempt at an insult' as he said like shitfart to insult him or something and therefore that's not a 'real' insult

or it could be something else completely

i mean i assume it's the former but he never really made it unambigious

If you actually know what he means then please explain to us because apparently to most of us (including me) we can come up with many interpretations to what that could mean, so in the end we have no clue what he means.

it's much more effective to actually help out than to respond with passive-aggressive disappointment
