Integrity
look on the bright sides: 1: he died at sixty-nine, dude had less than a year to live because that's the perfect age for bowie. 2: if you can say it about anyone in the world, you can definitely say bowie didn't die regretting the fact that he hadn't done anything. god bless the david bowie he was the real motherfucker

Nightmare
News of his death was the first thing I saw after waking up. Needless to say, the rest of the day has been a huge downer for me. Listening to his songs now, especially things like "Heroes", has given a different tint to them...it's really sad. ;__; But like Integrity said, at least he didn't die regretting that he did nothing with his life! I get happy when I think about how incredible he was, how bright he shined in his lifetime, and now he's left behind one of the greatest legacies in all of entertainment history, and even just history in general. Rest in peace, Bowie. You have earned it.

Radiant head
I'm shocked and gutted by this news. Listening to the new album all day now, though that had nothing to do with this. Oh and this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/12092542/Bowies-last-album-was-parting-gift-for-fans-in-carefully-planned-finale.html Edited January 11, 2016 by Radiant head

Yula
I got the news of this, this morning. David Bowie is one of the greatest singers in the world and he was taken from us. The first song of his that I ever heard was Space Oddity and I fell in love with it, I started to listen to more and more of his music, but when I got the news of his passing, Space oddity was the first thing to come to mind to listen to as tribute to the man. Major Tom, your voice was needed more in the next life than ours. I hope they enjoy you just as much as we have.

I guess that I somewhat remember "Space Oddity", but that's mostly because Chris Hadfield sung it some years ago while he was aboard the ISS.
