Chapter 20: 4/120

She is so bad. I don't even need her to use Warp since Chad will hit A Staves on Turn 1 of this chapter anyway. I guess she's more useful than Sophia at least.

He's pretty lame. He lost a bunch of HP so he's really easy to ORKO with an Armorslayer.

All the enemies near the entrance are killed on Turn 1. Chad uses the Silence Staff on the Red Gem!Druid so that I'll only have to dodge one Status Staff on enemy phase. Niime walks towards the arena. Niime has to dodge the other Sleep Staff!Druid on enemy phase. I forget what the hit rate was, but it was nowhere near as bad as the Sleep Staff dodge Ward had to do in Chapter 17. Marcus also has to dodge one or two attacks on enemy phase in order to live. Turn 2, Lugh steals the Red Gem and most of the remaining enemies in the main room are killed off. A few end up being left alive due to some of my units having to move forward to unlock the doors, so Lugh has a kind of shitty enemy phase where he has to dodge a Long Ballista and a Purge that OHKO him. Turn 3 also sucks since Lugh has to dodge another ballista, Bors needs to dodge one of either the Longbow!Sniper or a ballista, and Niime needs to dodge two of the three enemies that attack her, although she has an extra 10 avoid from the arena so she's fairly safe. On Turn 4, Chad uses the Rescue Staff on Yuno so that Zealot can recruit her, Wendy gets the Wyrmslayer, Nosferatu, and the Sleep Staff while Ward got the Speedwings and Lugh got an Axereaver. Saul killed Roartz with two super reliable 38 displayed hit Armorslayer hits while Niime went to the arena one last time before Roy seizes.

People busted down walls with brave weapons while Roy killed stuff with swords since he's so close to S Swords but not quite there yet. Chad hit B Light, so maybe I'll get him a Purge next chapter if I have any leftover money. Ward ended up killing the boss with some chip from Saul and Marcus instead of just Armorslayer!Saul because I accidentally gave the Armorslayer to Roy instead in the prep menu. Whoops.

A thwomp having 90 avoid is just wrong, even if Roy still has >50 displayed hit against him. The HP loss makes it possible to ORKO him, which is an improvement over Vanilla!Murdock, who could only be ORKOed with Armorslayer crits.

Pretty simple chapter actually. Ward rescues Roy on Turn 1 and is danced by Oujay, allowing Ward to get the Knight's Crest village. On Turn 2, Wendy kills a Wyvern Rider blocking Ward's path with a ballista and Ward moves within 10 tiles of the secret shop and drops Roy. Turn 3, Roy moves to the edge of the reinforcement trigger zone and equips a Wyrmslayer to kill the Manakete. Ward uses my acquired funds of 122000 to buy 30 boots and a Purge (Chad is really close to A Light, so maybe it will help in Chapter 24). Everyone else spends the rest of the chapter using boots while Roy kills Murdock on Turn 6 and seizes next turn.

Marcus, Wendy, and Saul got 3 boots each, Ward got 2 more boots for a total of 3, Roy will get 4 boots, and Bors, Oujay and Chad each got 5 (Chad has only used 4 so far).

so i've encountered a, uh bug that happens on the turn after Klein's dudes change to NPC's, before the third NPC moves the game crashes and it deletes all my save data

this is a new one, maybe i'll try a different version of vba later.

Noah rescues Treck ahead and Lance drops him off, avoiding the group with the berserker. The group at the top kinda avoids enemy range with Marcus shielding them. Dorothy gets a mend done every turn. On the EP, Roy counterkills the archer and the dank mage with an iron bow.

Turn 4, Lance chips a Merc for Noah. In between, Lance gets danced, Roy picks Treck up and Lance drops him on a forest tile, within range of the berserker.

End of turn 4. Fir is also within range of that upper-most Merc so Dorothy can heal her next turn.

Turn 5, Roy attacks this Berserker with 2 killer bow non-crits (since the steel bow was on Noah, and an iron bow wouldn't have done enough damage) so Noah can pick up the kill.

Horace, will that patch you gave me for the reverse recruitment draft work for this or do I need a different patch? I only just realized that the reverse recruitment patch might turn Roy into a Swordmaster, so I want to make sure before I apply any patch.

Nah, it'll unpromote Roy since I only changed the Swordmaster data. Just go to Paladin in the Class Editor, and where it says "this class promotes to" change it from Cavalier to Paladin and all should work.

Horseslayer!Roy OHKOs him.

Chad uses his last pair of boots and then Ward rescues him and takes him up north to use the Rescue Staff on Roy so that Roy can spend the next few turns using boots which he couldn't do if he was being rescued by Ward all chapter. Roy has to kill the boss because the Berserker up north prevents Ward from using his full move on Turn 2, causing Ward to be 2 tiles short of the boss on Turn 4. Chad has to dodge a Silence Staff on Turn 3. Everybody else self-improved since they all finished using their boots last chapter.

EDIT: Redid the chapter in 4 turns by giving Chad's last pair of boots to Ward instead so that he would have exactly enough move to reach the boss on Turn 4 and OHKO him with the Horseslayer.

CHAPTER 11 - 8/79 TURNS

The boss was a Fa manakete and Allen with 19 strength and Roy C support only did 2x2 with his strongest weapon so I shamelessly rigged crits, because bosses with 28 defence are bullshit Merlinus and Marcus got chests.

Chapter 22: 4/135

He is pretty thwomp. He's the first boss since Henning that I can't actually ORKO by any means. But Ward will carry through and end the Thwomp Lord's reign of terror.

Chad, Yuno, Oujay, Saul, and Niime are on the left, everyone else is on the right except Sophia, who was left behind due to being liable to get berserked and die to reinforcements. Yuno Hammernes the Rescue Staff, and Chad warps Saul carrying Niime up near the left switch. Saul drops Niime equipped with a Lancereaver. Marcus and Wendy go up the right side towards the switch while Roy, Ward, and Bors go towards Zephiel's room. Yuno has to dodge the Berserk!Druid on Turn 1 enemy phase. On Turn 2, enemies get mopped up. Roy leaves a Hero on 9 HP so that the Berserk Druid will heal the Hero instead of berserking anyone. On Turn 3, Niime and Wendy press the switches and Roy opens the door to Zephiel's room while Saul gets another Sleep Staff. Ward then goes up and hits Zephiel twice with Maltet at a fairly reasonable 71 displayed hit. Chad then uses Physic on Ward in preparation for the enemy phase from hell. Ward gets attacked by Zephiel, two Manaketes, two Druids, a Sniper, and a Bishop. Zephiel and the Manakete's are almost impossible to dodge, but Ward is thwomp enough to live on 4 HP after getting attacked by the three of them. He has to dodge the other four enemies who have hit rates ranging from 44 to 56 displayed hit. It sucked. But eventually I managed to get it to happen. On Turn 4, Ward finishes off Zephiel while Saul, Lugh, and Marcus collect a White Gem, Dracoshield, and a Wrymslayer from the chests before Roy seizes.

Roy and Wendy kill the Manakete and the Druid near the start. Roy is then danced and kills the other Manakete. Chad moves up and physics Roy. Chad then gets danced and uses the last use of the Silence Staff to silence the Berserk!Druid. Everyone else moves up(Marcus used the Dracoshield from last chapter to make sure that he doesn't get OHKOed by Manaketes in the next chapter). Oujay and Chad have a bit of a rough enemy phase, although Chad's avoid is really high, so it's not too bad for him even though he faces a bunch of wyvern riders. Roy and Chad each need to dodge a Sleep Staff. Yuno also Hammerned Maltet. On Turn 2, Wendy and Marcus use the ballista to kill a Druid blocking the path to Brunya. Wendy is then danced and kills a Sniper blocking the path to Brunya. Ward moves up and is danced, and he then goes up and kills Brunya with a Killer Lance crit. Lugh buys several Elixirs for next chapter with the money obtained from the White Gem I got last chapter before Chad uses the Rescue Staff on Roy and Roy seizes.

Chapter 24: 7/144

After legions of chump bosses, Jahn looks shockingly competent. Unfortunately for him, Roy has 81 attack against him with Durandal, so he still gets ORKOed like usual despite his 40 + 3 defense.

Did you know that Mounted!Roy can canto off of a throne after seizing? What had been a useless quirk for the entire game now ends up being something that saves turns, who would have guessed?

Anyways, dudes go forward and kill Manaketes. Wendy killed most of the throne Manaketes. Saul carried around Fa. Chad of all people led the charge, being able to ORKO Manketes even without a divine weapon with either Divine or Purge. He actually hit S Light during the course of the chapter! Too bad I didn't bring Aureola with me. Chad also put several Manaketes to sleep, and used the Rescue and Warp Staves on the Bards to get them into more favorable positions.

Well, to her credit, it takes 4 hits from Durandal to finish her, so that makes her better that Jahn I guess.

Chapter 11: 9 turns

Didn't know Echidna arrived so late. I sent Astol to the southern villages, Ellen down the centre-but-still south path and everyone else east. Lilina and Marcus pick off the ranged attackers from above while Ellen draws some enemies towards her. After I break down the wall, I sent Lilina to kill the boss after she finished the remainder and Lalum/Marcus to recruit Echidna/make sure Lalum doesn't die.

I have to recruit Klein one turn before hit. otherwise his archers will kill Echidna. The game doesn't crash but like Horace, I've lost my in-game saves.

My initial positioning could have been better, but I messed up my states and couldn't go back.

Sent Lilina up the right to get some treasure. Echidna killed things in the way while Ellen brought Roy up.

The boss was a swordmaster 26 HP, 10 speed, 9 defense and was weighed down by a Steel Blade, so that could have been worse.

Chapter 12x: 5 turns

While the Mounties (guess why I'm calling them that) charged while carrying Roy, Lilina helped out a poor bandit who had locked their chest key inside their chest.

With regards to improving my turn-count, I think Chapters 8 and 12 could have been done a turn faster with better positioning. Cecillia and Sophia brought Killer weapons of their own, and Hammerne wasn't actually necessary since Chad could have used the Unlock Staff to open the door to Yuno's cell instead of Rescuing her out by positioning him better, so that saves a turn each in Chapters 13 and 15. Chapter 16 can probably be done faster, but I'm terrible at planning out long maps like Chapter 16, so meh. Chapters 17 and 22 could have each been done a turn faster if the Ward was able to ORKO the bosses in any way, but Arcard had 21 speed and 25 + 3 defense, so Ward couldn't double him even with max speed (lol max speed Ward) and he's too thwomp to OHKO with a Horseslayer. It also would have required Ward to dodge two 100 displayed hit sleep staves instead of just one. Zephiel just has too much HP and defense to ORKO with Killer Lance crits.

Overall, I feel that I got kind of lucky with the randomizer. Roy and Marcus got great classes with good bases on top of that along with the vast majority of the bosses being chumps. Such is the nature of the randomizer I suppose.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I could have 3 turned Chapter 14, but then I wouldn't have been able to get the Warp Staff, which would have cost more turns later.

My team was really good here, and Flaer was a swordmaster with 23 strength and skill, but 13 speed and 22 hp, so he got orko'd by Allen pretty easily. Miledy is like normal with 3 less speed and luck more or less.

I think suspend + restart chapter rebooting should allow for repositioning even with the data gets erased bug, in case it's useful for someone later on.

Since the C11 vendor editor bugged out (passed up on hacking it into C4's vendor, and face it, if the randomizer would fix flux being unbuyable early, it would put it into multiple shops anyway) when I tried using it, I just hacked two fluxes into Lalum's inventory and didn't use them before turn 2, pretending Wyvern!Barth had just bought and convoy-dropped them on turn 2, and overcompensated for it a bit by buying 2 heal staves and discarding them (1.8k for 2 heal staves vs 1.56k for 2 flux tomes)

Also I'll just stop making screenshot logs, saw this coming haha. I like the idea because it makes the strats a lot more entertaining to follow but it's effort and I don't want it to impede my constant rare, unlikely and short-lived outbursts of productivity. I'll still do it sparingly when my strats involve some funky positioning.

C11 9/80 turns

Lance drops Roy over the wall on turn 1, equipped with Longbow to counterkill the two archers. Marcus, Noah, Dorothy and Treck just go through the south, along with Wyverns!Elen and Barth, who bring Clarine along so Roy doesn't have to take a detour. Turn 2, Roy longbow kills a fighter from this tile:

Lance then swaps him to iron bow to counterkill all enemies of that group but one since they're either archers or have hand axes. They then proceed to ride through the upper part of the map. This is Orlo:

Roy chipped him twice with a 16 dmg silver bow (gate healing prevented the kill) so Lance could take the kill (he got a crappy level from it though). Clarine recruited Manakete!Klein, due to his subpar movement I had to delay a turn to recruit Tate without exposing him to peg knights. Fir just took the path towards the bottom villages, facing the halberd fighter (OHKO at 48 hit lol) once and then being able to avoid him due to 6 mov. Got all villages. Bishop!Echidna came with a berserk, sadly wasting a use of it while in NPC mode.

Turn 1, Roy promotes and gets danced twice (one dance isn't enough due to his 7 initial move) so he can kill the knight with silver bow and stand on the tile that lets him bait the warrior and a fighter through the wall (he counterkills, 31 Atk ftw). Marcus just sleep staffs the Killer Axe!Fighter because the Physic priest prevents me from killing him reliably with Marcus only. Turn 2, Roy is given Treck and drops him ahead. Turn 3, Noah gets danced ahead and rescues Tate so Roy can take her and drop her ahead with Treck's help. Noah gets sleep staffed which doesn't matter. Turn 4, Lance gets danced ahead to prepare for the next turn (and take a shaman kill through the wall) and Roy gets danced by Tate to open the door to the throne room and just barely move within Ein's range. The boss is pretty bad, and his 10 def is pretty mediocre by now:

EP4, Roy hits back with the steel bow, needing to hit once (two hits would've killed). Turn 5, Lance gets danced to finish Ein off and Roy seizes. Raigh has a hammerne staff that I would've liked to get but it would've cost turns and I think I'll have enough warp and rescue. Got all the treasure to the right with Fir and Marcus, and Merlinus raided the left treasury. Dorothy only got to use mend twice, unfortunately.

Pretty low def for a warrior and a lot less HP than his original version.

Roy and Lance got danced on turn 1, with Lance dropping Tate ahead. Turn 2, gets two treasure chests with a dance. Noah gets danced to pick up Treck. Lance just moves ahead and promotes. Turn 3, Tate dances Noah so he can give Treck to Roy, who drops him off near the throne. Lance is just far enough to javelin kill the eclipse druid, so he does that to guarantee Treck's safety. Turn 4, Roy ORKOes the boss with Killer Bow (doesn't need a crit) and gets danced for the seize. Dorothy just spammed Torch, Marcus fended some enemies off and Fir stole a lockpick, aswell as the elixir at the bottom. I was way short of getting the white gem, sadly.

Pretty fun map, it took some weirdly cool positioning shenanigans, I like the kind of maneuvering the double dancers allow for.

He only has a bolting, killing his AS and avo. It allows Roy to quad him with brave bow, but it makes bringing a dancer along harder.

Marcus goes up, sleep staffing the paladin and routing the cavs on the forest so he can get the body ring. Lance uses a speedwings. Roy, Lance, Noah, Tate and Treck take the bottom route. Turn 1, Roy gets danced ahead, the rest just moved (one of the dancers got a slight rescue boost from Noah). Turn 2, Lance kills a mook (I think a mage that attacked Roy) and gets danced to ORKO the sniper. Roy ORKOes the Paladin with silver bow and Noah gets danced ahead to drop one of the dancers (they do literally the same so they're easy to confuse) ahead while swapping Roy to iron sword. Turn 3, Noah clears out some enemies to prevent a penalty from miledy getting attacked, Roy and Lance just clear out a few enemies. Turn 4, Roy and Lance just advance, dropping Treck ahead while Tate is in Roy's saddlebags:

Turn 5, Roy drops Tate (who is at low HP) such that Treck can shield her from the merc (the wyvern is inaccurate anyway) while dancing for Roy, who brave bow chips the Hero so Lance can finish with Javelin. Turn 6, the wyverns approach, so Roy kills a merc, gets danced by Tate, picks her up and gets danced so he can drop her just within 2 tiles of Flaer so she doesn't get attacked, and Lance rescues Treck so he doesn't face a chance of death. Noah draws some wyverns towards him so he takes damage so Dorothy can mend him.

Turn 7, Lance buys 4 killer lances and 5 killer bows (he just barely got there). Roy then kills Flaer with 3/4 brave bow hits at 80 disp hit (get rekt Flaer lol) gets danced for the seize.

I don't think I'll promote Noah at all, I think I accidentally sold the second Orion's Bolt and don't get another one for free, and he's passable enough for everything I need a filler nomad for, and useless against bulky enemies anyway. Take a look at the underwhelming Cecilia:

Corrected all the boss stats to +/-3 variance so no big changes on him, the spd loss makes it easier for Yodel to double him with Durandal and the +3 def makes him a bit harder to bring down. He'll be slightly harder than in the original.

C14 4/100 turns

Randy is a wyvern lord and Roy will so wreck him. Cecilia brings 2 Elfires and a mend staff, Sophia a steel lance.

Turn 1, Lance uses boots, picks up Roy, drops him across the gap with a sword equipped and places himself on it so Marcus can use restore. Turn 2, he doubles back and gets danced twice to grab Tate and drop her ahead (managed to avoid her being within enemy range) while Roy just advances and kills some more Mercs on EP. Turn 3, Roy gets danced by Tate so he and Lance can drop her near the temple. Turn 4, Roy ORKOes Randy with an iron bow and gets danced to seize. Lance bought a pure water and a restore and Cecilia collected the warp on turn 4, unimpeded by the wyverns since they preferred to move towards Roy's group, probably because Tate is squishy. Also got all the other treasure aside from the guiding ring and the silver blade.

Lance gets danced ahead and he drops Roy off. He gets attacked by an archer, a nostank Druid and a Bolting Sage, and I could've made it more reliable by dancing him twice to use a pure water, but it just worked out without any RNG abuse so I kept the pure water. He then goes back, gets healed by Dorothy for exp and gets danced to kill a priest in Roy's way. Roy kills Oates with an iron bow and Marcus warps Treck to him for the seize.

God damnit randomizer. 32 def, 15 res.

Turn 1, Roy drops Marcus ahead, gets picked up and Lance drops him into the boss area with a sword equipped. Turn 2, Roy places himself on a forest tile while killing an archer and counterkills a few enemies, including the Valkyrie (she'd otherwise physic the boss while he's below half health) on EP (his sword broke at a convenient time so he could counterkill the melee cavs and then the enemies that were forced to 2-range him). Marcus gets warped up by Cecilia and places himself on a mountain while chipping away at the boss, killing him over the course of turns 2-5, using Nosferatu (7x2) once and Flux (5x2) thrice, with gate healing in between. Lance was my only really competent fighter aside from Marcus and Roy, so he got danced twice to kill the two mercs near the start and then kill the valkyrie at the bottom of the map (he doubled because he proc'd spd after fighting the mercs, but I still went for a killer crit so he doesn't facetank the aircalibur). EP, Lance kills two cavs of the bottom-right squad, the other two attack Tate and Cecilia. Noah facetanks the silver lance wyvern. Lalum recruits Falcoknight!Percival, who brings a silver sword and a silver blade.

Turn 3, Roy keeps killing mooks because he only pulls 2 dmg and 3 crit against the boss with silver bow. Noah brave bows the wyvern (while carrying Brigand!Lilina), Lance kills the two remaining cavs and then kills the sniper coming from above. Cecilia sleep staffs the sniper in the boss area. EP, he counterkills a few mercs.

Turn 4, Dorothy gets both dances to heal a few wounded units and promote in between since she reached level 10, Lance kills an archer (he missed a hit so Cecilia finished the job) and attracts Garret so I can recruit him next turn. Noah drops Lilina ahead. EP, not a lot happens aside from Garret moving.

Turn 5, Marcus finishes the boss, Wyvern Lord!Igrene, who got a silver card from Merlinus, goes town in the vendor and Lilina recruits Garret, who comes with a fire, a mend and a hammerne, and then visits the village to get another hammerne staff lol. Roy then seizes.

Weapon ranks: E Anima C Staff. With him, I now have 3 mounts capable of melee combat. His staff rank is enough for restore, hammerne and mend, and he still has 20 Atk and very good accuracy with fire, I think the fact that he hits res and isn't bowlocked will let him outperform Noah easily.

See above for Narcian's stats, he has Bolting, Delphi Shield, Blue Gem and Unlock. This makes stealing from him a non-issue as long as Fir gets there, and allows me to kill him more reliably. His chump magic (20 Atk) also means he can't OHKO minimum price Dancer!Hugh:

Roy, the two dancers, Lance, Marcus, Dorothy, Fir and Barth (who carries soldier Miledy for a few turns) go through the middle, Noah, Garret and Merlinus through the RHS. Marcus warps Cecilia into the left treasury on turn 1 and she berserks the armorslayer!Merc, making him ORKO the purge guy on EP and weaken a few enemies afterwards. Dorothy silences the bolting mage to the right and gets brought to the middle path by Lance. Roy gets danced up and drops Marcus along. Garret leads the charge through the right, killing the dragon over the course of 4 turns (lol) since he doesn't double.

Turn 2, Cecilia berserks the silver bow sniper, who almost kills the steel bow sniper after he attacks her on EP2. She just uses an elixir, so the weakened steel bow sniper retreats and gets physic'd while the berserked silver bow one continually attacks him instead of Cecilia until he's dead. She then picks the steel bow sniper off because I killed the bishop in time. Lance leads the charge through the middle with some help from the dancers, picking up the scraps in the group with the paladin, using javelin, on turn 4.

Turn 5, Roy follows up with Miledy in the back, and he OHKOes the physic!Bishop in the North-East part of the map with silver bow (while holding Miledy, he still had over 70 hit lol), while Lance killer lances the Paladin who retreated after Lance attacked him previously.

Turn 6, Lance takes Miledy and goes towards Zeiss. Douglas just started moving 2 turns ago, so he is still up there. Tate gets warped to Lance so he can attack the wall once on turns 6 and turn 7, after dropping Miledy off, and twice on turn 8, breaking it with 4x gant's lance. Tate has to dodge 2 56's from douglas' silver axe to survive. Dorothy hammerne's warp.

Roy recruits Hugh at min price on turn 6, see his stats above and gets danced to kill some armors with steel sword. He starts attacking Narcian on turn 7, but only with steel sword so he doesn't kill. He also missed once, which doesn't really matter. Marcus warps Fir up to Narshen so she can steal his blue gem and Delphi Shield.

Turn 8, Roy finishes Narshen off with 2x killer bow and gets danced for the seize after the others grab some more treasure. Cecilia managed to pilfer everything, Noah, Merlinus and Garret got everything except the recover staff, despite the delay, and I also managed to steal the red gem from the mage at the start on turn 2. Roy also activated the C-support with Marcus.

Turn 1, Dorothy silences the bolting sage near the start, Roy drops Garret ahead, Noah drops Tate and Lance Cecilia. Cecilia and Garret don't have any staves in their inventories, with Hugh having a mend for Garret and Noah rescue, warp and physic (should've given it to dorothy though) for Cecilia.

Turn 2, Dorothy berserks the sage at the top so he kills the two bolting mages and doesn't use silence, Noah gives the staves to Cecilia and canto's back so he can pick up one of my dancers to drop them ahead after a second dance. Roy gets the third dance to drop Hugh (who danced Noah second) ahead, after Lance killer crits the Paladin.

Turn 3, I clear out some enemies, Garret heals Hugh, who is the farthest ahead out of my dancers, so he can dance Lance ahead to drop Roy off within the Purge!Bishop's range.

Turn 4, Roy kills the bishop, Cecilia and Garret team up for a Cav kill to ensure survival and Garret gets danced twice to pick up Cecilia and give her to Lance so he can drop her ahead.

Turn 5, Brave Lance!Lance and Fire!Garret gang up on the sniper, Roy picks up Lance, Cecilia rescue staves Tate, allowing Roy to drop Lance near the throne.

Turn 6, Cecilia warps Tate to the throne, Roy fires off a 43 hit silver bow at Windham and Lance finishes off with at least 1 out of 2 brave lance 34's. The chance for the kill is 15.49%.

C17 3/124 turns

This involved some minor bullshit, Lance had to dodge a 72 hit sleep staff on turn 2 while Hugh dodges either an elfire or an axereaver, both of which have around 70 hit. The chance for this is roughly 10%.

Warp fest. Turn 1, Marcus warps Tate east so she can dance Lance ahead, allowing him to drop Roy off to deal with some of the enemies. Hugh dances for Noah, who then drops Marcus next to Tate. Cecilia fed Garret the killer lance Cav above the start and he killed the steel one on his own after getting danced by Treck. Treck was the only one out of my dancers to survive a silver lance from the paladin, who I left alive for this turn.

Turn 2, Fir steals the elixir from the Paladin and Cecilia chips the Paladin for Garret to kill with fire, needing to attack twice with a dance from Treck. Marcus rescue staffs Hugh, Tate dances him and he warps Hugh up. Hugh dances Roy who killed a bishop right before, Lance picks up Hugh and Roy drops him forward. EP, the aforementioned stuff has to happen.

Turn 3, Lance kills the bishop in the way (the mage that attacked Hugh did so from a tile that blocks Roy's alternative path), Roy ORKOes Arcard with a killer bow crit + hit, the chances were roughly 50/50 thanks to the Lance support. Hugh dances him. Marcus hammernes warp and rescue, which were at 1 use each, Dorothy uses mend twice, Cecilia gets the Tina staff and Garret fights in the arena once. Roy then seizes.

Turn 1, Lance picks up Roy, gets danced ahead by Hugh and uses a pure water. Marcus warps Tate ahead so she can stand here while dancing Lance:

On this tile, she's outside of enemy range. Maps with lots of forest are practical. Noah drops Marcus ahead and Lance drops Roy off. Roy and Lance get attacked by a few pegasi and counterkill them, except for one who has a javelin.

Turn 2, Roy kills a merc (to make Tate's survival more safe) and Marcus warps Tate up. Lance picks up Roy and Tate goes onto a forest tile to dance for him. He then drops Killing Edge!Roy next to Martel, who is a hero with 46/17 defenses and two axes. Dorothy gets two mends and Garret kills some mercs after chip damage to improve his tome rank. Roy critblicks Martel on EP, Lance counterkills some Peg Knights to the right and Tate has to dodge a 53 hit light brand or a 24 hit pegasus knight.

Turn 3, Marcus double warps Noah so he can get the secret book, Dorothy mends someone (forgot) and gets danced to hammerne warp, Lance gets the guiding ring village and Roy seizes.

Turn 1, Lance drops Marcus ahead and Roy Tate. Garret uses a torch and moves ahead to facetank some Peg Knights. Noah gets sleep staffed on EP since he's at the bottom of the roster.
Turn 2, Dorothy restores Noah, Garret kills some peg knights while moving ahead, Fir steals the elixir from the Falcon, Marcus warps Tate onto the mountain, Roy OHKOes a Falcoknight with an iron bow (lol) and gets rescued by Lance. Tate dances him just far enough to drop Roy within 8 tiles of the gate.

Turn 3, Fir steals the knight crest from the Paladin, Garret kills a mook blocking Tate, gets danced and Marcus gets danced to warp Garret near the castle. Garret then kills a mook that blocks Roy's way and makes Sigune (Sage with 42/16/14 defenses) visible because he used Torch on turn 1, allowing Lance to kill her with a killer lance hit + crit (14.6% chance).

Probably a bit over 25, my cash right now is 80k and I have some things like elixirs, delphi shield, stuff from C20 and C21 and the member card to sell.

C20 4/134 turns

Turn 1, Marcus silences the sleep druid in the middle and gets danced to kill a generic fighter. Garret just kills another fighter, Lance ORKOes the sniper and Roy gets danced to kill the Hero (he just used melee light brand to ORKO). Cecilia warps Jerrot into Juno's room so he can talk to her on turn 2. EP, Noah gets slept by the sleep staff druid to the right and pretty much none of the enemies suicide since Marcus and Garret were preferred targets. The damage from counterattacks EP was also negated by physic staff enemies.

Turn 2, Roy kills a merc, gets danced to kill a nosferatu druid and is picked up by Lance, who gets danced aswell to drop him ahead. Garret attacks the KE!Merc near the SW door, who didn't start moving. Cecilia, Marcus and Noah (restored by Dorothy) pick up some scraps, the only centre enemies alive after the PP are the bishop, the SW merc and the silenced druid. Jerrot recruits Juno and she gives her weapons to him so she doesn't attract any status staves. EP, the Merc suicides and Noah gets slept again.

Turn 3, Fir steals the red gem from the silenced druid, Dorothy restores Noah so he can kill the bishop with 2x brave bow + killer bow (with a dance, ofc), Marcus restores Garret who got Berserked on EP2. Garret opens the SW door, Roy kills the thwomp next to it and Lance attacks Roartz with killer lance:

cba to calc the chances, but he happened to get 2 hits on PP and a hit + crit on EP, which was enough for the kill. Garret gets berserked on EP and Noah gets slept.

Turn 4, Dorothy gets danced to restore Noah and Garret. Noah opens the door to the left treasury and he with a dance, Marcus and Garret pick up some of the chests. Cecilia warps Fir into the treasure room with the purge bishop to get the sleep staff. She gets danced to hammerne warp. Lance kills a sniper because he can and Roy seizes. Got the speedwings, axereaver, longbow, sleep staff and freebie angelic robe.

Chapter 13 7/104

Percival wasn't so bad in the end, the bad part was Roy surviving long enough to seize

Chapter 14 6/110

Ellen got the Boots without even having to try for it :3

Had to do some scouting for the best way to avoid aggroing the southern wyverns.. Percival carried Ellen to the forests to distract the swordsmen, and Echidna hung back and blitzed through at the right time.

The boss was a Roy and had a lot of defense, but three rounds with the Killing Edge did him in.

Deployed Thief Wolt to get some items.

Chapter 14x 5/115

Percival took Lilina forward to clear the path for Echidna and Roy. The boss was a hero with 21 speed, but Swordreaver Lilina had decent enough hit.

Chapter 15 3/118

Percival dropped Lilina onto the mountain to kill everything, then doubled back for Roy. The boss was a joke, Lilina had about 80 hit on him.

Chapter 16 8/126

Ferried Roy to the right side, Percival ran him past the initial group to recruit Hugh. Lilina and the rest cleaned up. Tehn, Lilina was carried by Percival while Ellen killed the Aircalibur mages, and the others got 5000 gold and the Brave Lance.

Narshen was a SM with a Runesword, nobody could manage >40% accuracy. But he took 27/29 damage from a Swordreaver hit at 22% so it wasn't too bad to kill him.

Did you get Zeiss? He's needed for the true ending, so I'm wondering since you didn't mention anything about him in your C16 clear.

He's pretty decent offensively. I give him a speedwing immediately so he can double Zephiel with Durandal. Weapon ranks: S Swd, C Bow. He brings Steel Blade, Armorslayer, Murgleis and Saint's staff.

I had some really valuable stuff in the storage, almost 4 full elixirs, 4 statboosters I wasn't planning on using, and I also had a decent amount of weaponry and a lot of vulneraries and chest keys. Coupled with the delphi shield, village knight crest and member card, I scraped up enough money (144,000) to buy a massive 36 boots.

Turn 1, Lance gets danced and drops Roy on a forest tile fullmove ahead with brave sword equipped. Igrene takes Yodel's weapons away from him and gives him a speedwing and a killer bow. He uses the speedwing and gets rescued by Garret, who is then danced and warped, dropping Yodel ahead. Dorothy (who warped Garret) berserks the Bishop after a dance. EP, Roy counterkills a wyvern rider and a wyvern lord (3 brave hits), Garret kills a wyvern, some archers attack Lance and the Sage below the start attacks Noah, who retaliates with brave bow, barely not getting doubled.

Turn 2, Noah finishes his sage off. Yodel kills a wyvern rider that blocked Roy's way, Dorothy warps Tate down to dance Yodel so Roy can pick her up. Yodel then drops her ahead. Garret kills an iron bow archer to improve Tate's survival chances, Lance gets the knight crest, convoy drops it and canto's towards the secret shop. Marcus sleep staffs the wyvern lord that starts in the NE corner. EP, Yodel's convenient positioning allows him to counterkill two bishops, Lance gets attacked by a few archers without delphi shield, but he's pretty bulky and they have weak bows so it worked out. Garret facetanks a Sage who starts out in the NE part of the map aswell.

Turn 3, Lance kills Garret's sage and is outside of the archers' range. Dorothy warps Hugh down. Garret mends Lance (unimportantly) and gets danced so he and Yodel can drop Hugh further down. Tate dances Roy so he can stand on the mountain while facing the Manakete to the left of the shrine. EP, Roy wyrmslayer's the manakete and otherwise not much combat happens.

Turn 4, Lance enters the secret shop and sells the member card, buying 36 boots. He sends all but one to the convoy. Marcus and Treck start using boots. Roy being on the mountain means he can just barely kite the spawning zone without a dance, so Garret and Yodel get danced, with Roy proceeding to ferry Tate ahead so Yodel can drop her off, and Garret keeping Hugh in the saddlebags. EP, Tate has to dodge a 68 hit bolting.

Turn 5, Lance uses a boots and moves towards Merlinus so he can use another boots on turn 6. Roy gets danced to ORKO the Bolting Sage with armorslayer. Garret drops Hugh just far enough for the next turn and Yodel places himself to face the ambush spawn wyverns. Positioning:

EP, he gets surrounded by 4 wyverns. Not all of them chose to attack, I think, but getting hit by the silver lance wyvern lord means the bosskill is less reliable. Could've improved the chance to dodge it by giving him a lancereaver.

Turn 6, Roy attacks Murdock (who rolled down in HP, Spd and Def) with Murgleis and Garret kills a wyvern so Yodel can get danced to take the armorslayer from Roy and finish Murdock off:

Same as before, but Echidna brought Miledy up. I killed Narshen with Percival instead, Lilina and Ellen cleared the way to Zeiss.

C21x 3/143 turns

Turn 1, Roy eats a boots, Garret picks him up and Lance rescues him while eating a boots aswell. Lance gets a dance from Treck to drop Roy ahead to the right, without being next to the wall. Yodel rescues Treck and danced by Hugh so Marcus can warp him into the throne room thanks to extended sight from Fir. Yodel then drops Treck off and sits on a chokepoint to counterkill the sniper and druid to the right. Tate just uses boots.

Turn 2, Roy moves ahead to make the General visible. Marcus warps Hugh into the throne room after Garret hammernes warp and Dorothy physic's Yodel so he can ORKO a Druid coming from the left and then get danced twice to kill the general in the top part of the map so Lance can fullmove through the choke. He needed a double killer bow crit because Armorslayer/Durandal was 1 damage short of ORKOing. Again, Tate uses boots.

Turn 3, Lance drops Roy into the throne room, Hugh dances for Lance and Treck for Roy, allowing Lance to kill FDruid!Peres and Roy to seize.

Turn 1, Lance rescues Noah, gets danced and Marcus warps them up. Lance then drops Noah off so he can get the 3 treasure chests and goes take on the Hero and occupy the switch. Roy and Yodel go up the hallway with the sniper and the 2 mercs, with Tate's help. Roy (after using a boots) kills the sniper with a bow while in range of the druid, and Yodel just kills a Merc. Hugh dances Garret up so he can drop Dorothy a bit ahead and proceeds to use boots for the next 3 turns. EP, the Druid in the right treasure room suicides on Roy and a knight on Dorothy. The General in the upper left room attacks Lance, freeing up the chokepoint. Fir absorbs the berserk staff for 3 turns and gets restored by Cecilia over and over.

Turn 2, Yodel kills a random Merc that attacked Roy on EP and gets danced so he and Roy can drop Tate ahead. Roy is within range of the Berserker near the right switch. Noah starts collecting some treasure and Dorothy and Garret get the swordreaver and the dracoshield. Lance attacks the brave sword Hero, quadding with brave lance but whiffing 2 hits. Marcus goes through the bottom hallway, killing a Berserker, and Treck dances him so he can sleep the silence staff bishop. EP, Lance finishes the hero off, Roy counterkills the berserker and Dorothy faces a Steel Axe Zerker, who she dodges, and doesn't double on counter. Marcus counters another Berserker with 2x Apocalypse, whiffing once.

Turn 3, Roy and Yodel kill the promoted enemies near Zephiel's room with Tate's help. Garret and Dorothy gang up on the general blocking the choke. Lance just chips away at the General for no reason, using a killer lance. Marcus finishes the berserker off using flux, and gets danced up to rescue staff Hugh to the throne room. EP is pretty uneventful.

Turn 4, Treck catches up to Roy's group and Hugh and Tate place themselves in front of the throne room door. Lance finishes his general and Dorothy and Garret attack the Brave Axe Hero, neither doubles and they don't kill in 2 hits, so I can't hit the switch yet. Again, uneventful EP, the only thing happening is that the Steel Axe Berserker near Garret and Dorothy finished suiciding on them.

Turn 1, Marcus kills the nearby Dragon with Apocalypse, Yodel kills the Druid with Brave Sword and they get danced. Marcus then equips Nosferatu from the C22 chest and sleep staffs a wyvern lord. Yodel kills a dragon with Durandal and gets Physic'd by Dorothy since the Dragon rolled up in HP. Lance drops Roy ahead. EP, some enemies suicide on Marcus and the rest kinda moves in a convenient way so I don't have to kill any to pass (manpower-wise, I could have killed at least one if necessary). Marcus ironically is the only unit to get status staff'd, considering I planned on having him use the Saint's staff here. Turn 2, Yodel kills a druid in the formation and Lance a sniper. Roy ORKOes Sage!Brunja with a killer bow crit + hit, with a 39.29% chance. Dorothy warps one of my dancers twice so they can dance Roy for the seize. Bought some elixirs and a physic staff by selling the C22 white gem. Recruited Karel, which is totally trivial since he brings a dragonstone.

cba to describe it in detail, used up my remaining 2 rescue and 1 warp uses, Roy, Yodel, Lance, Marcus and the 3 dancers went the whole way, Dorothy sleep staffed two manaketes at the start, Roy made use of his canto after seizing the thrones and killed Manakete!Yahn (I don't think his class gets randomized but might be wrong) with 3 Murgleis hits.

Final 1/158 turns

Roy with the Lance support did 11x2/75 damage to Idoun with Murgleis, so he attacked thrice with the power of dance, allowing Yodel to be the MVP of the run

His start was decent since he had okay damage and hit with bows. Once he promoted, he became really good at combat and was very reliable against both mooks and bosses because his skill turned out really well. Sword rank helped with EP shenanigans in many situations, and brave sword allowed for perfect reliability against promoted mooks, although funnily enough the sword rank didn't come in handy against what it was intended for (general bosses).

His stats took a while to get going, I think he got screwed early on. He was never really good against bosses reliability-wise since he had poor skill. Still saved many turns with his flier utility and was good against mooks because his stats were good overall.

Earlygame MVP for his 1-2 range combat. He stayed useful by warping, which gives so much exp that his stats became decent again, and he was better than Dorothy and Cecilia because of Apocalypse.

Helped reliability early on a bit by healing people, although ensuring constant exp gain and safe survival for her ended up complicating some of my strats. Once she promoted, she had decent staff range and B staves to use status staves and physic with, and her combat was merely passable. Her avoid was pretty bad because of her low speed and luck.

Good against unpromoted mooks, he could double often against enemies with steel weapons and his magical attack wasn't too bad. Boosted exp gain from being a valkyrie helped. 8 mov was also useful for ferrying services. Pretty good last pick.

They did pretty much the same, saving turns by dancing. Treck did it for the most time, but they did it pretty much equally well because their avoid and defense were similar, although Hugh's were the worst.

Pretty good lategame combatant, he was the only one with access to Durandal, which helped, and he came in handy for eliminating Dragons and killing Murdock/Zephiel, and generally helped out in all the chapters he was available for.

Useful for being a second warper in midgame, but worse than Marcus and Dorothy because of her stats.

5 strength base and 30% growths in strength and spd made him pretty mediocre overall. His ability to wield killer and brave bows helped a bit, and he had some mount utility. He would've been better with a promotion, but I don't think he would've done much. He might have been worth promoting if I didn't have Garret.

Thanks for collecting treasure I guess. Her avoid and defenses were so bad that whenever she faced a WTD steel axe or halberd she had a 50/50 chance to die lol.

36 boots is way overkill haha. I didn't even use the 6 I had after C22.
