I learned a lot about the economy and trade in the Middle Ages. The fictional world felt more alive than other shows, not to mention more believable and thus immersive. The Second Season should be available on Netflix (Or at least it was a while back, I've currently cancelled my subscription since I'm abroad). I remember it being a particularly strange case since they had the second season and only the second season due to a different company licensing it.
