Slumber
This DLC seems a lot more inspired than previous FE DLC, so this gives me hope for the future. That said, disappointed that they aren't adding playable axe classes as DLC. That seemed like a gimme, but I guess not.

Hoshidokoala
What do you reckon these over-class names will be and what weapons will they use (if any new)?

Maybe similar in essence. I imagine Celica and Alm could be Queen and Conqueror though. The rest could be literally anything. r_n
I can see them all being fancy on purpose, though, just because they're not just classes they're ~over classes~ Lance Knight, War Elephant & Black Crane specifically all seem like distinct class titles along side the more flowery ones. We'll see though, I'm guessing series 3 stuff will be detailed more at the end of may or start of june.

If you mean in the localization, I'd guess something like I honestly can't think of a way to make Lance Knight sound cool Colossus Crane Knight Dark Priestess Enchantress Warlord War Elephant if it's a literal elephant, Ballista Knight otherwise Can't think of anything that isn't just ripping off Archsage Queen Conqueror I kinda feel like the Japanese names will stay what we know. Conqueror is a Mounted Class in Awakening and it did belong to Alm's descendant, Walhart. I don't see the icon have Alm have a horse, I totally think Alm will might get a different class title. Even without a horse (or axes, for that matter) it can still be Conqueror as a call ...forward? call back? Classes game to game get changes all the time, after all. Iridium
Yo, is "Great Conqueror" literally Conqueror, or is it just being translated from Overlord? Similarly, is Elephant the same as the ballista known as Pachyderm? Might change a few things.
B.Leu
Overlord class would be way too cool and dark for Alm. If War Elephant is a thing then we got the winner for the weirdest named class of the game. :p Can't wait for the French translation of them. It's kinda hard to explain without going into linguistics ^^;;; Alm's altar is literally "Conqueror King" or "Conquest King" (覇王). "Elephant" is an interpretation; it (巨象) could also be a "colossus" (as in an elephant sized thing). Or even both (a giant elephant). EDIT: I should have put a disclaimer not to read too much into the translations. A lot of translations depend on the context and there's very little context here. r_n
While on the subject of translations The Dark Saint and the Swordswoman Swordswoman stood out to me. The only woman classes in Echoes that uses swords is the Villager and Celica's classes. Anything in the wording that implies if she's just a villager or gets to have fun with the other sword classes? Half her cipher cards are swords

I want to think all the Cipher mascots will have unique classes, like the amiibo summons. Also like Minerva in Fates. But it's hard to tell since suitable classes already exist for 3 of them (Cavalier for Lando, Pegasus for Ema and Witch/Mage/Saint for Shade). Lando could be a Cav with Swords named slightly differently. Maybe Emma could be unto Echoes as Minerva was to Fates, in a comparable-but-different class to Pegasus Knight? And Shade could just be an Awakening/Fates-esque Dark Mage or something.
Armagon
Just a thought: if Lando does get his own class, would he be dual-weilding swords, at least asthetically, similar to Fates Swordmasters? Lando is usually depicted dual-wielding swords and having a dual-wielding Cavalier would just be awesome.

r_n
I'd be surprised if none of the subsequent DLC had a fork as an item. Either as a rare drop in the next set of grind dlc or a reward from doing something in the last set of dlc.
