DisobeyedCargo
Speaking of grinding. What is generally accepted as the best stage/map to grind supports on? I've been grinding on a level 67 gold rush stage in cold reception for Marth's essence for paragon.

Chapter 15 is also pretty decent for grinding supports and personally I find it a lot faster, so if you aren't on the hunt for character mats and just want supports, CH. 15 is probably better, solely for speed. As for money, I use the level 17 Gold Rush in Land of Gods (It's in Aytolis City and on the map it is a peg knight) using Tiki with Luck +20 and Payday alongside the Wealthy Blessing. Ch.15 is faster but I usually reccomend ch.20 since I always need character mats and I usually try to grind supports with several characters at once. I think ch. 14 is also good if you want support points with Marth and Tiki. How much do you get from Lv.17 gold rush with Tiki? I have been running Elise through the Lv.78 Gold Rush from Minvera's history map and I usually get around 100k each time.

I can't recall how much I get since I haven't grinded in a while, but I get a fair amount. I feel like Olivia may also be a good option for Gold grinding now due to how high her luck is (176 at 150, the highest in the game. It should be 211 with Amped and 231 with Luck +20), which will work well with Payday and Galeforce making any unit a semi-Tiki, allowing her to stay in Awkaneing for added gold for a long period of time. Though this will still have to be tested and I wont be able to for a while since my Olivia is only level 80 and my highest level is Niles at 109. Noax
Where does armor breaking show up? I've seen it in the game's options, but I don't exactly know what it is.

It shows up when you obtain the Armor Strike weapon attribute, which you must first get for each weapon type in certain missions for the Hero Challenge history map. After that, you'll have one of each type of weapon with that attribute on, and the attribute will start appearing randomly on any future acquired weapons locked behind a 3,000 KO requirement. Then once you get it, you need to critical (destroy their stun gauge) in order to activate it, though if you're hit by a knockback strike, it'll activate on yourself. The armor break option is only to decide if you want to actually see the broken armor models or not. And the broken armor models are restricted to only the playable characters, and it's essentially the characters in undergarments. If you turn that option off, you can still activate the armor break effect, which is significantly reduced defensive stats for anyone it has been activated on... it's just that you won't see anyone running around in nothing but shorts and socks. twistedxgrace
This question may be idiotic to ask, but I just want to be completely sure. When you reset a character's level, are the crests you gave them undone?

The point of level reset is to earn materials in bulk relative to the level. 1 silver every 5 levels, 1 gold every ten.

jeffridgeback
New member here, though I've used the site plenty. I'm kind of bored with FEW at 40hrs. I love it and I want to keep playing, but I don't really know what to do when I start it up. I don't plan to beat everything, battles are starting to feel the same, and I don't find improving the characters to be very compelling now that I've surge crested everyone I use and put the more important skills on my favorites. What's left for me besides weapon scrolls and farming for builds that help with winning the same battles against enemies with higher stats? My stopping point was when I needed to catch a bunch of bows up for one of the later battles in Together to the End, trying to unlock Celica. They all play the same and it seems like a lot of work. What goal should I set and why?

What goal should I set and why? It kind of sounds like you wouldn't necessarily enjoy the rest of the game moving forward. You're getting tired of the battles, the weapon progression, leveling people up, etc. It might be best to just call it quits rather than force yourself to keep playing, that's a good way to burn out and sour yourself on the game. Been there with other games!
Silent shifter
Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there an easy way or strategy to beating the Escort the villager missions? I always get overwelmed.

For less obvious advice, each villager on the map will only be attacked by one type of weapon the entire time; so as an example, if at the start of the map there's two villagers, one being attacked by axes and the other being attacked by swords, that's it; no other weapons will spawn, and the axes will always go after the first villager while the swords will always go after the second. I always get overwelmed. There's no "easy" way in particular, but some general advice: Use healers with recover. Go after the lightning mages, summoners, and rally captains as soon as reasonable. If possible, have both units with effectiveness against the enemies that you can see at the start, because you'll continue to see them. Naturally, you also want units with different weapon types. On the harder ones, I also found it useful to have Armored Blow, and maybe Live to Serve if you're using someone like Elise. When there are so many enemies it's pretty valuable to not be interrupted in the middle of your attack string.
r_n
Is there something special to VElezark's story drops? The first time I completed story mode (normal), I got a silver & Gold material. I figured the first drop was just special, so you could actually make progress on Liana & Rowan's attack badges. And sure enough, Hard mode only dropped a single one (gold, frustratingly) But then I beat Lunatic (w/ Convoy Blessing) and got another gold & silver? I remember getting like 8 Silver and one Gold from the final Story chapter, so there's definitely something that's fishy here.
Momentai~
Is it better to go with amped or bolster for dealing more damage? I am not sure how much the raw stat increase is worth compared to whatever bolster does.

I would say Amped is better due to it giving a 20% boost to all your stats except move which kind of make it this game's version of Limit Breaker from Awakening. Bolster is slightly inferior since it requires other boost and attack attributes forged on your weapon to be effective.

I am not sure how much the raw stat increase is worth compared to whatever bolster does. I still plan to actually calculate this a bit more accurately, but as a rough estimate Amped becomes better for raw damage when you're at around 85-110 luck, depending on a few other factors like how many additive bonuses you have, if you're Bolstering a strength skill or just a boost, and your Strength/Magic stat. This is assuming Luna + 720 power weapons by the way. Since Amped also boosts e.g. Lethality chance, significantly increases durability, Awakening duration etc. that should also be considered. But just for damage, the above applies. I think I put Bolster on about half a dozen characters. Camilla, Frederick, Niles, Tharja, Robin(?) maybe.
