The game is divided into 2 parts. - Development started at around March 2009. - For many of the new series including Geass, Gundam 00, and Gurren Lagann, they are 2 part stories. Hakai-hen will only cover the first half of their stories. - That means Season1 only for Geass and Gundam 00, and up to ep15 (and the first movie) for GL. - Gundam Wing TV and Gundam 00 will have a connected storyline in SRWZ2, the reason for this is probably because both cover essentially the same goals in different perspectives. - Dai-Guard and Trider will also be connected because both storylines feature corporations as a story backdrop, and their business worlds will connected in SRWZ2. - Even though this is a 2-part sequel, the Hakai-hen will still contain huge climatic original enemies of its own in the game. CT075
Who has any idea how Spiral Energy is going to be handled in this game? Epic will gains, maybe? Maybe they'll pull a Gaogaigar and raise the will cap to
Nanami Touko
Spiral energy will probably not even be part of the game mechanics .__. If anything, it'll be like the synchro for the EVAs in MX
Acacia Sgt
Who knows about game mechanics, but if it's not related to Getter Rays in any way, I'll RAGE!!! lol

Excellen Browning
Hey guys, guess what? http://aerie.wingdreams.net/?p=154 If you excuse me... Noticed and am currently playing. Don't give a damn about most of the dialogue though, since most of it is random/missable banter (reading all the banter takes more time than completing the actual GAME)
Mousefire
Noticed and am currently playing. Don't give a damn about most of the dialogue though, since most of it is random/missable banter (reading all the banter takes more time than completing the actual GAME) Without the banter, what's the point of a translation? I suppose there's the menu, but it's not that hard to memorize.
Mary Sue
Sorry to uh... butt into conversation but I'd got to ask... I've been trying to get into this series for some time now, but have never been able to find a single copy in the store. Now I know about emulation and all the wonderful things it can provide, I have been looking into it more. Now I know for certain that the series has a very strong following in the West, but the only games I can find are the two GBA ones, but I'm assuming that the other ones have a fan translation or something along those lines. Anyway, my point:What is a good starting point to get into the series? Once you play the most recent ones, is there a reason to play the past ones? Or is it like FE in that they are all worth playing? Once again, sorry for butting in.....
Mousefire
The only games with fan translations are alpha gaiden, J, 3, and the original. They all have different storylines. I suggest you start with original generation 1. It's difficulty is good, and it's doesn't have any mecha anime in it. only original characters made by the company. They're all worth playing. Cybuster
It's also a good way to learn the control system so you can play the non translated games. Also before I forget HQ Scans http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/7483/famiz202.jpg http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/9181/famiz203.jpg http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/1365/famiz204.jpg http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/1365/famiz204.jpg http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/9026/famiz20506.jpg http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/3133/famiz20708.jpg http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/6267/famiz209.jpg http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/7320/famiz210.jpg http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/5741/famiz211.jpg http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/4840/famiz212.jpg http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/1592/famiz213.jpg http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/1379/famiz214.jpg http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/9026/famiz215.jpg http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/3936/famiz216.jpg http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/5526/famiz217.jpg http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/2516/famiz218.jpg http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/2312/famiz219.jpg http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/1120/famiz220.jpg http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/214/famiz221.jpg http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/7809/famiz222.jpg http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/2980/famiz223.jpg http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/2678/famiz224.jpg Edited January 8, 2011 by Asakim Dowin Redux

Cybuster
New info from the event Terada held today Few information from the event (gathered from 2ch)AT and KMF's armor are so weak that they can die from just one hit. (with no upgrade) Chirico is really strong, but his first Scope dog is really really weak. It gets 'bit' better with Custom Scope dog. Chirico doesn't talk much. Most of his quotes are .... Votoms and Code Geass will appear together a lot and have many cross over. On Terada's latest message with 2nd PV being finished, he mentioned that he got a game over while testing out the game because he wasn't thinking straight due to lack of sleep. He mentioned that he wasn't suppose to let the red unit die. I was guessing what that unit was, but it seems like it would be Karen's KMP. >Terada has been very busy most projects are SRW related. He's going to try and take it easy because he doesn't want to deteriorate his health. >Shin Mazinger was a welcomed change since it'll represent the mazinger saga from now. I wonder how it will work with Great Mazinger. >Change Shin Getter Armageddon - Terada always wanted to use this version in a proper SRW since D. He's making sure the staff gives all the love it deserves Quick notables >Eureka 7 will be a new world and story >Aquarion events will change in Z2 >Zeta Gundam is the 1980s version >Amuro has a new mean look because of the events of Z2 >Possible secret units if time allows it >UMD size isn't an issue, loading time was, so they added a install game feature to reduce loading time and be apar to SRWZ >They worked hard to make Gundams cut-ins as dynamic as possible. Terada noted that 00 will shine in this. >New Animations for the original SRWZ cast and new Dynamic Kills >Animations will change like in SRWZ if you fly or you're in ground. It was hard to do for ATs. >PV2 should be out by end of Feb if not sooner And finally>The moment gurren lagann became available , Anno wasted no time to call Terada. Terada said "I think it was 2am..i was still in the office eating Cream Wafer Chocolate with Tea, I picked up the call and Anno's first words "So you got any space left for those SRW for gurren lagann? " I think that made up for the bad day I had It made me quite happy to know we could finally use Gurren Lagann in a new SRW game" >Terada said the reason they chose PSP for (Terada wanted it for PS3) was because it would cost less to produce such a massive game and it was the best place to put the game. there was a lot of argument because of the system they wanted Z2 to be in. >Terada said that Wii/PS3/3DS/PSP are the best choices for future SRW right now. Regarding gundam shows. ZZ is a no show because of some Story issues and licenses between sunrise and bandai. Sunrise and bandai have something big planned for ZZ but nothing other than that was said. >V Gundam won't appear *yet* >Wing Gundam will have it's plot covered they won't jump straight into EW >Gundam X will have a few tweaks and fixes >Turn A Gundam will play a big role >New CCA units might appear >They are waiting for Bandai and Sunrise to finish with Gundam UC so they *may* add it in a future SRW One last thing Terada hopes to bring out about 6 SRW games this year alone Edited January 30, 2011 by Asakim Dowin Redux
Mousefire
One last thing Terada hopes to bring out about 6 SRW games this year alone What...... WHAT!!! Let's see, we can expect Z 2 and a 3DS one. maybe we'll get one for the wii. Sweet I just hope producing all of the games at one time wont hinder the quality of them. Acacia Sgt
This may be off-topic from Z2, but I'd like to know... I was playing A, and took the Devil Colony route. Everything was fine until Devil Gundam appeared. As I took down the HP of the Devil Gundam, just suddenly, the screen goes black, but dialogue still appeared, then it froze. Using save states, I saved in-game before it happened, and reset and reload. The result... Two God Gundams. I had God Gundam riding Fuusanki, which auto-separated before the freezing. The extra God Gundam is in fact the Fuusanki mech, but still has Fuusanki as pilot. Yeah...XD Not to mention... DGRain is gone, replaced by an AI. Now I can't continue as defeating the Devil Gundam freezes the game. Might as well restart... Anyway, someone else has this happened...? I still can't figure out how or why it happened... Rei Rei
Maybe restart the stage and pray it doesn't happen again? Also, I'm on Stage 41 of SRWJ. Some of the intra series interactions are quite damn funny, actually. [spoiler=Gundam SEED- related]And they actually managed to make the Tolle/Nicol deaths even more dramatic Edited February 3, 2011 by Rei Rei
