Destiny Hero
Colm attacks with 92% and misses. Colm gets smacked by 34% and a 1% critical. Colm hits and doesn't get with 25% critical. Add that in with the fact that I've been missing with 80+ accuracy nearly half the time so far in this level. What the hell is wrong with this game's RNG!? Tino
Nothing is wrong, you're just having bad luck. Missing with 92% hit is indeed fairly uncommon (especially since it's ~99% true hit), but a 1% chance of missing is not equal to a 0% chance of missing. And 34% and 1% both don't equal 0%. Destiny Hero
Yeah, I know that >_> And conveniently, just as I'm about to ditch Fire Emblem, the game gives me the absolute shittiest luck I've ever had. Oops, just missed 5 times in a row with 83. And yay, may level 10 Colm has yet to gain a single attack point. Ϲharlie
Nonsense like that is a part of Fire Emblem. There's nothing worse than getting bitten by a 1% hit rate in Thracia. But on the upside, there is also some room for luck, for what little it's worth. Edited November 19, 2008 by Musashi Added More.

TLSothe
Well, knives work too, but if you aren't aiming to kill, you have to hit them in the leg. Possibly a perfect spot in the wrist, but...

TLSothe
I quit playing it, because I hated it. If you don't want to play, don't do it. Aside from that, you are so fucked, as far as luck goes.

You know, I'm actually going to agree. Missing five times in a row with 94.39% true hit almost can't happen. It has a 0.00006% chance of happening (even less, in fact, since it is actually something like 0.00005556666...)

Destiny Hero
Now I have Colm at level 15, and he STILL has 4 attack >_________________> And every time Moulder levels up, he just gets one point in luck, HP or resistance. He's level 14 and only has 5 magic and 4 defense.
Ike-Mike
You had luck that you could witness such a rare thing as missing with 83% so often in a row. How speedy is your Colm though? Maybe he can still dodge often enough to keep up with his thieving purposes. Edited November 19, 2008 by Ike-Mike

The chance of Colm having 4 Str at L15 is 0.1%, and Moulder's chances of having 5 Mag and 4 Def at L14 are 3% and 24% respectively. That means there's a 0.0007% chance or something like that of this actually occuring. You must have really, really bad luck to have this occur. DeSu
Seems like begging for attention to me. He always does that. But this sounds similar to an incident with me. I call it the Super Armor Knight. Colm can DA the SAK and kill it with an Armorslayer. 92% chance. Misses. TWICE. It was epic. And don't say the game hates you. You'll become a Kiba
