6/13 Miraculous ___ in Smash Leak
Wayward Alchemist replied to Crimson Red's topic in Super Smash Bros.
But Ike started out where Roy mah Boy is now, so you gotta give him that. -
So, are there gonna be new stages for 3DS? If so, will they be DLC or just a free patch?

So we know that the FE Amiibos are making an appearance in Fe14, but what do you think their classes will be? We know Robin is wearing his Tactician robe, Marth and Lucy share a class (judging by their map sprites) and Ike will likely be a Hero of sorts. But how do you think they will handle the classes? The stats? The growth rates? Discuss!

D'you think that the thing where you get one of your enemy units is unlimited? If so, that would be cool to be able to nab a Hoshidan class in Nohr. I want mah Lancers and Samurai! -
All I can imagine is this conversation: Felicia: Joker, Lord Kamui requests your presence in his quarters! Joker: NO! Oh god please, no! Felicia: What's the matter? Joker: Don't make me go back there! Please! You can't let him do this! Felicia: Joker, what are you talkin-- Joker: YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE!!! He... He does things to me... Terrible things... Felicia: I'm sorry Joker, but he's the prince. You can't say no. Joker: No! I'll do anything! Please! You have to help me! Felicia: Joker, let go of me! Gunther! GUNTHER!!

Am I the only one that kinda hopes Luna is indeed Severa? It would be cool if (one or two of) the kids shed their own names and began a new life on a different continent, namely Severa and Inigo. It would also make for some interesting conversations with the rest of the cast along with helping to fill up the plot holes that Awakening left us with.

Partial(?) world map from official site

But that would make their crop yield better, if they are still getting sunlight. Isn't that why Nohr invaded, or am I getting Garon confused with Ganon? -
I like the way they're pulling it off, but I wouldn't want it as a series mainstay.

Nintendo Direct 31st May: Possible FE if info?
Wayward Alchemist replied to VincentASM's topic in Fire Emblem Fates
All the effects seem to be in the descriptions, but that could get a bit old. I'm thinking Iron weapons will be the main weapon in availability and usage, and hopefully the enemies don't just use their fancy Silver weapons and attack us in expendable droves. -
Who do you fight for? :Relevant Title: Pick a Side

Glory to Nohr, and death all those who stand against our righteous conquest! -
Why would that make any sense... Samurai were pretty much royal guards, so why would they need horses in a palace? Samurai are just Myrms given a different name.

Agreed on the Javalins and Hand Axes; it makes Bows viable in their own little way as the biggest ranged physical damage output due to their ability to double attack. I think Pegasus Warriors won't be too vulnerable, especially if the Skill That Must Not Be Named returns, as they could eliminate something with a bow, either retreat to a better position or attack something with a Lance. Even if the Skill doesn't return, Pegs are dodgetanky enough that they have a good chance of not dying, and Bows (And Wind Magic, in some cases) can be counterattacked, -

Personally, I'd like to see Dark Knight and Strategist to be promotions of not the Rod Knight, but a Mage Knight or some other mounted Mage. Yes, Troubadors/Rod Knights could promote to Strategist it would still be cool to see a mounted variation of the old Mage and Cleric tree. -

I think that Camilla's base class is Wyvern Knight or similar; she is riding a dragon and wields Axes and possibly Tomes, promotion wouldn't make you drop a weapon rank and have to build up two new ones. -

Let's talk about Map Design, The Dragon Vein, etc.
Wayward Alchemist replied to Soapbar's topic in Fire Emblem Fates
I thought Earthquake might do a small amount of damage to all (ground) units around the user, friend or foe, like the volcano level where you fight Yen'fay in Awakening. It would be cool to have a "Dragon Vein Affinity" as a preset thing, as some units would have more Dragon's Blood than others, and the more they have, the more and better effects they can produce. Obviously, Kamui, Aqua, Mrs. Hoshido, and Garon would have max Dragon's Vein potential, whereas some secondary characters might have more Dragon's Blood than another unit of the same class, so even if they have mediocre stars they could still shine in the Dragon's Vein dept. -

I'm talking a specific choke point that would have to become a bridge in order to progress on a level, somewhat like this:[][][][][][]XXXXXXXX[]000000 00000[]XXXXXXXX[]000000 00000(??????????)0000000 00000(??????????)0000000 00000[]XXXXXXXX[]000000 [][][][][][]XXXXXXXX[]000000 So in this most beautiful eyesore... 0 are tiles that any unit can access at any given time [] are tiles not able to be accessed by Foot Units (?) is where a bridge could be made X are tiles inaccessible to any but Flyers Thus rendering you unable to progress without a bridge. I am not sure if IS would make this perfectly awful chain of events a reality, but I could imagine it putting a damper on my day.
