Man, sad Town day 2 Having read the cases on Proto, I can totally understand why people called him out. But I just can't agree when all the real evidence behind the push is "He talks too much aboy theory". I do that a lot too. I understand, context is an important thing here and my amount of content far outmatches his, but that isn't inherently scummy or harmful. I just can't go about this on gutfeelings and possible intentions. I'll do it the other way around. Agreeable content means less likely to be scum. I think Blitz is the only quasi confirmed Townie, though it could always be a deceptive role and all that. I think the worst part is that we were granted a death-less day, and we have made no progress whatsoever.

Haha, I'm not saying you are, Irony. I was asked what exactly was the reason why I was weary of making a real "newbie" claim on you. It's nothing personal, you seem like a great person!But in Mafia you kinda have to go with the mentality that everyone could be a threat. I have my reasons to be especially weary of you, which does not means I think you're scum just because your newbiness is clear. Beides, we were all newbies at some point, so I can relate. It's just that I relate with a grain of salt :P

Oh, I almost forgot. I'm always weary of peole who play the newbie role, because I used it before. On another site, I joined a Mafia community and claimed that it was my forst Mafia game ever. Since nobofy knew me, they accepted it and gave me a ton of free passes for scummy shit like no lynching and following ridiculous targets. Obviously I wasn't a newbie and I was faking, even outside the Mafia game, that I didn't knew what I was doing, intentionally avoiding the lexicon and asking for obvious stuff. I was the Godfather, btw. And we won. So from personal experience, I am VERY careful with new people. Not enough to go witch hunting (and potentialy scaring a new player away) but enough to have always an eye open.

Yes, I focus too much on a person, but that assures me that person is heavily inspected. I will like to remind you that until I latched on Hober Mallow, no-one even batted an eye for him, and now he's on everyone's scumlist. It is really hard for me to see in Rainbow any particular summy action. Most of his views align with mine except on his Elemina case, but he's not the only one I see taking ELe's habit of jumping to conlcussions as a sign of the scum. Yes, it's annoying and yes it's harmful to the town, but I think the message is clear. Honestly, I will be verysuprised if that changes through the day. Back to Rainbow himself, he's relly consistent. He has low posts, but every post is super long a filled to the brim with content. By know we should have found inconsistencies on his arguments, but there are none. And I've read them. I see people disagreeing, and that's alright. But the problem here is that people assume that "different opinion = scum". I will say though, Rainbow should post more. I know those post take time and effort to make, but I can totally understand if people "feel" that they are opportunistic. All in all, it's hard to find him scummy. I'll tell you what I will do. I'll read everyone's case on him and try to come up with a conclusion. Should be a decent thing to do on my way back home. It's an hour long travel, so I'll have time.

I agree with you. I'm happy to see that at least one person here understands that morality can only be applied to humans under specific social constructs (like culture), and nothing else.

You know, I highly value the effort here, but at this point analizing the first moments of the game is kinda unnecesary when you have all the things that happened yesterday. Besides, by rule of thumb RVS shenanigans are just that. Elemina jumping the gun (an attitude that was pretty consistent through the day) was pointed out many times now. Again, I really appreciate you taking the time to look back, but it is redundant. The Green Poet debacle and the SB stuff is probably more worth the attention now. You know, I'm starting to agree with your decissions as of late. I still think your actions yesterday were terrible and harmful to the Town. Your questions makes no sense. You're implying that a minority of the population dictates the behaviour of the majority. What causes a person to be asexual is irrelevant (and a discussion for another time), when the point is that their genes will not be transmited to the next generation (for obvious reasons), thus naturally selecting the genes that do create individuals capable of reproduction. Natural processes will continue to affect our species as it does with every living thing, regardless if you care or not. If person "A" doesn't care to "pass its genes", that only validates more the fact that the species has just avoided the genes that dictates the behavioral pattern of "inabilty to pass genes by not caring". The species then keeps behavinmg as any other species down the evolutive line. You are not able to step outside of your human perception of superiority above the anciento forces that rules every living thing, and so, you're failing to understand that you cannot escape'em. Survival of the fittest still applies, under different conditions, true, but it exists in every single aspect of your life. The good thing about science and proven facts, is that, regardless if you "believe" in them or not, they continue to exist and rule.

How can you possibly apply "good" and "evil" to an animal? The do not know about those conventions, unless they are conditioned by human behaviour, like dogs (and even there, the reaction of percieved "guilt" it's just a response of fear triggered by associating a certain action to a violent response of the human, not actual self conciousness).

That's not true. We behave as any other species on the evolutive tree. The conditions of survivalism have changed, that much is true, but our goal as a species, keeps being reproducing. Yes, even in high developed countries. Marrying is a human construction, by the way. Doesn't mean the people who doesn't get married can't have sex. So that proves absolutely nothing. Our primal motivations exists yet, because we feel hunger, we feel the need to drink, sleep, etc, and we conciously seek to please them. People who won't reproduce, are effectely getting their genes naturally selected to not being passed to a further generation, thus further changing human genome over the evolutive line, and so preserving those individuals with the stronger primal instincts of self presservation and reproduction. And that is a proven fact. Point is, primal motivations are in our every day actions, and evolution hasn't lost us at all. Stop believing we're "above" that, because we're at the same evolutive level than snails.

That's because Blah is conditioned to apply human perspective on things that trascend our morality. Survivalism knows no morality, as it's instinct-driven. Including humans. Saying someone/something is "good/bad" from a survival point of view, is applying a social construct on a force of nature that does not care/know about our social constructs.

It hardly gets better than DooM 2016 over the top deaths, especially on bosses like the Cyberdemon. All of the bosses die in extremely badass and gory ways, though. Mostly because you're playing as a badass.
