  1. Haha, I sure remember that one! Again, thanks guys :)
  2. Well that's good to know..?

    :)

  3. I've been fine, thanks! :) And thanks for the welcomes, people (even if I don't know you or you don't know me). What's that supposed to mean?
  4. So I have just a little more time on my hands. That means I might post around a bit more here (it's been months since I posted, but I've always been lurking :)). Mostly in the general sections though. So who knows, maybe I'll see you all around a bit more here :)
  5. I doubt religion will vanish anytime soon. It's just still so big, and there are so many religions out there, that I just don't see it happening. Also, religion is not necessarily the belief in a God or any other supernatural being. Religion is often based on values, morality and ethics - giving meaning to life. That is, as far as I know, the most important part to religion, not the belief in some God.

    Friday

A friend of mine just keeps playing this song to annoy the hell out of us. So yes, it's kind of a disturbing song for me. This is, however, the first time I saw the video (with the sound turned off). And 13 year olds driving sports cars? I'd say that's a waste of money (surely you don't want to see your $100,000 car get wrecked by some children, right?).

    Procrastination

Admittedly I do procrastinate from time to time, but only on small projects that can be done in a day or something. I once had to write a report for a society class that had to be at least 50 pages long. You really don't want to start with that a few days before it's due -_- So I'm not much of a procrastinator...
  8. What is beyond me is how Kàka got away with no cards... Anyway, we woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon! That's going to be some good partying tonight : )
  9. Looks like France and, unfortunately, South Africa are out. France being out of the cup isn't that big a deal to me, though. They played way below my expectations. You know what I hope? That Chile and Spain tie their next match, and that Switzerland beats Honduras, even if just for kicks.
  10. Cameroon should have won that match. They were much better, in my opinion. Too bad they're out of the competition already.
  11. Check this video at around 1:21. See that guy just inside the penalty area? The one surrounded by the three South African players. That guy touched the ball. If you look closely enough, you see the ball change in angle a bit, indicating he did in fact hit that ball, because it wasn't bouncing on the ground. So guess what? Suàrez was offside. Also, how in the world did any of the officials even see Khune hit Suàrez? Even in the replays it was barely visible... : p
  12. Elia was great. Sneijder played pretty well, but nothing too spectacular, if you ask me.
  13. Paraguay is ahead of Italy! I doubt there were many people here - including me - who expected that. Great match so far, in my view.
  14. The last 20 minutes or so were great. The rest of the match was disappointing, to be frank, and Van Persie in particular. I vote Elia or Van Bommel to be man of the match. Or Poulssen, depends on how you look at it. :D
  15. France vs. Uruguay was a terrible match to watch. Pretty much nothing happened until the end. Personally I think it was because both teams were playing not to lose, rather than to win. Really, the most exciting part was when Lodeiro was sent off the field with a red card.
  16. We beat Mexico and the US with 2-1 and Ghana with 4-1, and they're all in the WC this year, haha. But I think it'd be great if South Africa would be able to make it past the first round. I think it would be great for the tournament. Edit: And let's not forget that we haven't lost any of the last 19 matches ; )
  17. This for sure. But in all seriousness, I'd rather not even think about the end of the world yet, to be frank.
  18. Same here. But it looks like he'll be going later, and he might miss the first match against Denmark. He'll be given a 'speedy treatment' or something so that he can still compete. And I don't think we should have much trouble defeating Denmark even if Robben isn't there. I hope their plan works. : (
  19. I never even left in the first place.
  20. The Netherlands, not only because I'm Dutch myself, but also because I think they're playing absolutely great at the moment. Also look at the results of our last practice matches: 4-1 against Ghana, 6-1 against Hungaria, without many problems. Maybe those teams aren't the cream of the crop, but those results definitely are worth mentioning. I would really be surprised if we wouldn't make at least the quarter finals (as someone else also already mentioned). It would, however, surprise me if Spain would get to the quarter finals if they keep playing the way they have done lately. Holland all the way! :)
  21. Class growths for fe1 are 100% hp and 50% in everything else sans resistance. But they're not really chances, they're more like counters. Every time a total of +1 is achieved, the stat gets +1. So with a base of 5 strength, the class would have 6 strength at lv3, 7 strength at lv5 and so on. For promotion gains, they don't exist. The only thing that happens is that, if the stat of the unit is lower than the base stat of the class it promotes to, the stat rises to the base of the class. So if the promoted class had base 12 strength, and the unit itself would have 8 strength when he promotes, he will have 12 strength when he's promoted. Pretty much the same as with fe2, iirc. Just because I'm not interested in the games much anymore doesn't mean I cannot help out :P Oh, and please correct me if I'm wrong. This is just from the top off my head.
  22. I definitely haven't finished. But frankly, I also don't intend to do so any longer.
