Somewhat related, it's honestly kinda sad that all the CYL3 units were pretty much outclassed upon release (or very shortly after) when you consider how strong Veronica is and how centralizing Brave Lyn used to be. I hope they don't wait until next year August to give them refines.

Why are you assuming that every player wants to "improve their skills"? What if some people just want to play FE casually and not think too hard about anything? That's why I think having multiple modes and safety nets is better, it caters to everyone. However, problems arise when those safety nets are used to justify bad game design, which is exactly the problem that 3H has, especially on Maddening.

Why do you want to limit the ways in which people can play the game?

I never liked the concept of ironman runs. In my opinion, if you lost a unit during a chapter, you didn't actually beat it.

And the recycling of maps doesn't really stop at Part 1. There are like, 3 unique maps to distinguish AM from VW/SS.

Revelation aside, 3H does cost the same amount of money as BR and CQ combined. However, there is more unique content between those two routes of Fates than all 4 paths of 3H put together.
