  1. So I really like Echoes soundtrack. Some notable highlights for me are: What Lies at the End *When this kicked in, I knew the game was just getting serious, and I liked it* Twilight of the Gods *to be expected, between this version and the gaiden version, I find both of them to be perfect, and the way it's presented is really good in my opinion, with characters giving their final battle dialogue with it plying in the background fits so well* Those who Challenge Gods *Hey orchestral music speaks to me what else can I say* Unity *despite not appearing often, when it does it feels right* Echoes *I find this oddly good, and it gives me hope for maybe future echoes games* The Heritors of Arcadia *My god is this amazing, End of All and ID Purpose were fine at least, until they got outclassed by Shigures Version and ID Hope at least, but this theme, I have no idea how they can top a vocal track this good and so meaningful to the story*
  2. .......That honestly makes so much sense, I now consider it canon despite there being no official word on it.
  3. So besides M! Robin and Ursulla *and soon to be F! Robin* the only other unit I've trained up to 5 stars was Anna, the reason being my original team in heroes was Her, M! Robin, Effie, and Virion. Now my team is pretty much Ephraim, Eirika, Lilina *my first three 5 stats, all from the sibling banner way back* and Still Virion, he's only a level 40 4 star but he's an semi-effective anti-mage and does help make it so Ephraim can double stuff
  4. When you let a family member summon and they get a 4* Niles.......I may take them up on that offer to buy me more orbs since I want Cordelia, too bad Trading isn't a thing, otherwise I would trade a Karel away and maybe even the Caeda from this banner that I didn't want.
  5. Not trying to brag, but when I let a friend do a summon he got me Ike, so I'm considering letting someone else do the summon for me tomorrow since I'll have 5 orbs then
  6. So my updated speculation list based off the info we know is: Archanea Marth (confirmed) Caeda Navarre and/or Ogma Linde and/or Merric Minerva Tiki Hardin Gharnef Ylisse Chrom (confirmed) Robin Lissa Frederick Tharja Cordelia Lon'qu Walhart Hoshido Ryoma/other siblings Oboro Hana Kagero Setsuna Rinkah (so I decided maybe doing one retainer for each of the siblings would allows diversity and keep the character count low) Nohr Xander/other siblings Niles Effie Peri Beruka Charlotte (Repeated same process here) Fates Neutral Corrin Azura Kaze and/or Silas Felicia and/or Jakob DLC Roy, Lilina, and Zephiel Eliwood, Hector, and Lyn Eirika and Ephraim Ike, Elincia, Micaiah,*very unlikely but I still hope* Nephenee, and the Black Knight Sigurd, Deirdre, Seliph, Julia, and Lief Alm and Celica Now most of these are either lords or fan favorites, I only really added one personal want with Nephenee since Amelia is more than likely out of the question and Cordelia is almost guaranteed
  7. While I do love Awakening, I think it did enough, plus we've had enough of the stories based off Marth and his legacy. I wouldn't mind a follow up or prequel to one of the Tellius games or even one about Elibe concerning the scouring. Plus what if they finally decide to revisit Magvel, all those worlds have ideas not as fully explored as the one we see Marth and his descendants explore. So I think it's time to move the shield of flames away from Marth and give some other heroes the spotlight again.
  8. Glad to see you finally get the game Anacybele! It's undoubtedly become at least my second favorite fire emblem game *though over the ones I've played, not really a whole lot of competition given awakening, fates, sacred stones, and shadow dragon* Gray as a mercenary works pretty great, as he's pretty good for me. I also made Tobin an archer, he's okay at least but he's actually way outshined by Python on mine *once I gave him an iron bow so he could hit stuff, he became my best archer, he practically soloed Thabes boss* I made Kliff a mage, he does well though obviously outclassed by a later mage *especially since I gave her the starsphere I got from grinding in the dlc item map* And Faye, I made her a mage and she did well for a time, but I'm considering reclassing her to Cleric just due to her exclusive spell and the fact I got multiple mages in my army and only three clerics. Of the pegs I have, Clair is by far the best *level 20 falcon knight with Gradivus makes her pretty strong* Anyways hope you enjoy the game! If you need some advice I have beaten it so I can maybe offer a few suggestions if you get stuck.
  9. While probably not having the struggle as most people have, I've spent over $50 in orbs on the bridal banner, mostly trying to get Cordelia, so I've been exclusively summoning grey, choosing blue when there is no grey and backing out. Anyways besides me getting some of the grey characters I was missing, the main things I summoned were MULTIPLE Wrys's *he's literally the ultimate troll, with him being a 4 star * anyways going to my second to last summon, there was no grey so I chose blue and skipped the animation, only it was Caeda.....I then did one more summon by itself and got 3* Wyrs, I'm actually debating quitting heroes now, given I've played it every day since day 1 this is saying something.
  10. What I was trying to say Frederick still had great utility for me without second sealing while everyone else had way more level ups *base and promoting*, plus this is awakening, where exp is endless, honestly to gain levels just stick whoever on Seliphs dlc map on top of a fort and give them plenty of javelins or magic or levin swords, that's literally how I capped EVERY unit in Awakening, keep in mind they all had limit break, very few promoted to dread fighter or bride to give them higher magic and res growths, and I did this with all the DLC units along with the normal Nephenee and Amelia, and if gold is a problem literally spend five minutes on the gold map to kill everything and get the silver card from the weapon map, that makes gold grinding way easier and costs less
  11. So just jumping in here again, I do enjoy Frederick as well, and yes he's a Jagen, but on my first playthrough I paired him with Cordelia, and he was useful all the way *without second sealing* on one of my awakening playthroughs *the one I put over 330 hours into* I made him into a paladin as the give him better mobility and better his res stat, and he's a good middle ground between Stahl and Sully, plus on that playthrough I married him to Nowi, I'm not kidding when I say Nah is literally the strongest unit in my army, besides the other manaketes, she's the only other unit with over 400 in stat summary *with dragonstone+ equipped of course*, and Nah has the highest of the Manaketes, so if I wanted to, I'm sure Nah could solo the endgame and I doubt she could solo Apotheosis but maybe the first level or so. So Frederick literally is like the best dad due to that *well besides Chrom passing down Aether and Gaius/Donnel passing down the pegasus knight line to get galeforce, and Male Robin of course*
  12. Well yeah, I'm semi-biased towards awakening and enjoy most if not all of the cast *plus Stahl is literally me but in a game, so I have that going for me* Anna is another good one, especially this version, I didn't like Fates version of her very much
  13. Cordelia. The reasoning for this is that when I first played awakening, she literally carried my team *alongside Cynthia and to an extent, Severa* After that she became my favorite character and has always been used in any playthrough of awakening. Some honorable mentions go to best daughters Severa and Morgan, along with Noire, Stahl, Kellam, Gaius, Henry, Tharja, Lonqu, Olivia, and Tiki
  14. Literally just beat it, so I used: Alm-level 20 hero with forged Falchion Celica- Level 16 princess with forged Beloved Zofia Saber- Level 14 dread fighter with 3 star brave sword Kamui- also level 14 dread fighter with a 2 star brave sword Delthea- level 12 priestess with the starsphere *made her growths insane* Clive- Level 11 gold knight with forged Gradivus Lukas- level 8 Baron with 1 star silver lance Clair- level 18 falcon knight with forged Gradivus Mathilda- level 11 gold knight with 1 star silver lance and Python- level 17 bow knight with a 5 star iron bow I probably used the worse team possible for this, and half my team bit the dirt *lukas, saber, kamui, and python* however due to python clutching it until his death, the boss got down to like 40 hp, then Clive went in and got a critical dealing 30 damage and finished it off with a follow up attack, Alm and Celica were just trying to stay alive basically as I didn't want a game over and lose everything I had found. Well I feel accomplished, now all that's left for me is grinding up everyone to max level and equipping them with some of the best gear in the game *mainly the three regalia*
  15. While I just took a brief look at it, it seems very useful already, thanks for posting it!
  16. It was more actually just eating one bowl while reading the comments from the past two hours. I got distracted by grinding in echoes despite me already being on act 6
  17. FINALLY Someone else who has played Project X Zone 2. I'll admit Tiki really served no role in the story besides having her map in the game and Chrom/Lucina's inclusion was really a surprise to me *heck the reason why I got the game tbh* along with Fiora. I honestly expected them to include Zelda and maybe Kid Icarus Characters for it given they are usually more well known then Fire Emblem characters, but I was surprised that they included characters from two of my favorite games. I saw it as an step forward for Fire Emblem that it was added into a major crossover game beyond smash. The only one to really do that among the realistic Nintendoverse *reason why Mario hasn't appeared in the series yet, as the developers wanted realistic characters in it* was Link in soulcaliber 2. Anyways, back to the thread, man watching the input of this over the past two hours while eating ice cream was interesting to say the least. I saw a few good points made that I won't reiterate on, but overall guys, there has been no real confirmation yet, so don't lose hopes, and if not oh well don't get it, I plan on getting it because I want to support this series and have a good time with a fire emblem game, no matter what it may be *tbh I still haven't picked up TMS yet as no wii-u, but it will be a first grab if it gets ported to the switch or I find a super cheap wii-u*
  18. There's Link, toon link, young link, and Ravio. For Zelda there's her, toon zelda, tetra, shiek, and Marrin *since some consider her to be dream zelda* honestly forgot about tetra so there's 5 zeldas actually. True that with it being so far along there's little possibility for any additions, but certainly not impossible. Plus what they're saying either can mean that those are the only ones revealed, or are the only ones playable in the story, there could be something like Adventure mode which could unlock those characters like Lyn and Roy and Ike, though that may be a little far going and be a far reach and it may just be all that's in the game.
  19. Well from what I recall hearing about this news, only Shadow Dragon, Fates, and Awakening are confirmed for the game so far, but we still got several months until the game is said to come out *later this year* so they could add a few characters from Tellius and Elibe if they feel they would not make the game redundant, something Hyrule Warriors did very well, despite having 4 versions of Link *two of them with multiple weapons* and about 4 versions of Zelda *only one had multiple weapons though*
  20. This makes 100% sense, so I agree with what Anacybele said. I can verify this as I started with Awakening, and have since played Shadow Dragon, Sacred Stones, Fates, Echoes in physical form and have played through part of Binding blade, Blazing Sword *got to Zephiels chapter before the file got corrupted, what do you expect from a randomizer where all the lords are mages*, and part of New Mystery. Let me say that even though Awakening is my personal favorite due to its ability to draw me into it in a way I have not felt since, I certainly love the older games, I still need to get Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn to experience them beyond letsplays, but this series has become my favorite in just over two years since me picking up awakening, which is saying something as Pokemon used to be my life and the only game series I played until literally smash 4 expanded my views of the gaming world.
  21. I think that's a bit far. If we look at hyrule warriors, it only had 13 characters to start with, we later got more from dlc and then with legends we got more characters, including some from all three zelda eras. Additionally if we look at heroes to an extent, that game mostly only had Shadow Dragon, Awakening, Fates, Binding blade and Blazing sword. We now have all those, plus Valentia, Jugdra, Magvel, and Tellius. So it's a good possibility that they may add more content in later on with those characters. I personally would love to see Nephenee in the game, so I'm staying somewhat hopeful for her in the dlc, but as long as Cordelia is somehow in the game I'll be happy. Plus as said it is a spinoff, so besides Tokyo Mirage Sessions and I guess to an extent heroes, this is their first try at this, so I'm not being too harsh on them as long as I have fun with it and get to play as some characters I like.
  22. Well I got the season pass cause I wanted to so I have all those backing me up, I was able to do it though. I had a idea of using Saber and Kamui *my dread fighters as Atlas was still a Myrmidon* with boosted res from a coral ring *had like 12 of them* to tank the hits while leon sniped from afar and Mae with Jedah with Aura's before Celica used Ragnarok omega to finish him I mean, he really isn't, just his abilities are somewhat troublesome to a first time player of gaiden/echoes. Plus more grinding never hurts
  23. Well sorry for the double post but I did it, using a combination of Leon's bow and mages/dread fighters with either hexlock shields or coral rings to get to the fourth hits then I had Mae hit with Aura which dealt 20 damage, got him to the last hit, and used Celica's ultimate art which had a 100% accuracy to get the final hit and finish him, man it was tough, later in the game will hopefully be easier due to Delthea and Alm
  24. Well I only got two mage rings due to convoy transfer and one archer since I promoted Atlas to something else *at that time Leon was my best archer, now it's Python by far* I may try it again shortly, just most of my attacks do nothing to him
