Delthea, bad? Not that I knew of, I mean her personality is either hit or miss so I get that, but her growths are very solid for the most part, so combining her growths with the female mage growths, she has 20% hp (pretty bad tbh), 75% attack growth, 30% skill (meh), 60% speed, 40% luck, 15% defense (mage so expected to be low), and 5% res growth(like everyone else in this game). So I'll admit overall these stats aren't the greatest besides that attack and speed growth, but she does access to ragnarok, one of the most powerful and limited spells in the game with 20 might, the only other unit with access being Celica. Delthea may not be the best, but she excels at attacking and hitting hard, I know what I did with her is not what everyone does, but she never let go of the starsphere, so she often gained perfect level ups due to all her growths (besides res) being increased by 30%, and I personally like her character as she has massive talent, and recognizes it, but wants to be her own individual, and being a little full of herself is a given, as she is a descendant of a very powerful mage who's power is only inherited by female descendants, so growing up she was always praised as such and it boosted her ego. Though if we're talking about ego's, let's not leave out how big Mae's is. Either way though it's your opinion, but I personally consider Delthea my favorite of the game (besides Alm, Celica, Mathilda and Python) Anyways, I enjoyed every character in echoes from a character standpoint, but for combat, it's a tie between Nomah, Mycen and Valbar, these guys have the lowest growths and stat total out of everyone in my army, besides the cipher units which I still need to train.

So I'm excited for the tempest trials and the warriors related stuff. I would think given it's with the sacred stone bound battle the mini tempest would be related to them, but the quote does seem like it refers to Hector more, so maybe this is a chance for everyone to get a free hector, or maybe it'll be a FE6 Hector. The other tempest trial should most definitely be the black knight, with him foreshadowing his GHB later on, I'm predicting since the Nephenee sprite has been leaked, she'll be the TT reward. Now the Warriors maps, either they could introduce the protagonists (which tbh I don't want as they don't need to be messing with Alfonse and Shareena) or it could be a series of maps containing characters in heroes that are also in warriors, or it could be a double promotion, for if they decide to reveal the characters for it a week before or whatever, those could be new characters that aren't in either game yet, IDK though, so this is all speculation, besides doing the final reveals that close to the games release is a very risky, then again that's only 17 days away so who knows.

Well I have done two summons today, the first was the free summon on the new banner. I chose blue just in case I got a dupe Ephraim to merge (since even though my current one is -atk, he's already level 40 and has so much si on him) and I got a 4* Roderick, not bad, a new unit for me. Now for the main summon, brave heroes, I only had enough orbs for 1 summon, so rip me possibly getting Ike and Roy in this session, I chose blue, and it's 5* Clair....... +spd,-def......I don't know how to feel, on one side it's Clair and a new unit, but on the opposite side she's a 5*, wasted my pity rate, and could have been brave lucina.

A general opinion question I have, so I saw from a few screenshots of the character inventory, and Robin in particular was equipped with a steel tome. So this has me thinking, will tomes now follow the other weapons types (like bronze, iron, steel, silver, brave/legendary whatever weapon type) and the element be exclusive to that character (say Robin with thunder magic or Leo sticking with just Bryhindlr hope I didn't butcher that, it's been a while since fates) or will the generic mages (so those that don't start off with a legendary/personal weapon, because obviously legendary weapons will be stronger and character specific) be limited to lower powered tomes, but have the ability to change between elements which will slightly affect combos but not the overall moveset? I would like to see if this has been incorporated in the past and if not then how do you think it'll work.

We know of no canon meetings between the three. Though in unnofficial ways, there's the Marth amiibo, and as said it isn't too farfetched to thing rulers visit one another especially concerning trade and whatnot. And whether or not Alm/Celica visited Archanaea and thabes is a whole thing on it's own, but probably would be nice of them to have told the ruler of Archanaea that they killed a ancient dragon thing (after all, we don't know the timeframe for this, for all we know Valentia could have taken a few years to be rebuilt and during which the events of FE3 happens and then they visited thabes, killed the dragon, and visited Marth who was probably rebuilding the country after the recent war)

I feel like the bonus exp is enough, and if you're low on funds then tough luck should have planned better, though if they did get remade dlc would definitely be there so sadly it appears so. But honestly beyond the dlc, I feel like grinding in these two games in particular doesn't work, let's just make every level up perfect and enemies always miss while you always get crits while we're at it. These games are meant to hard(ish), and while the difficulty may turn people away from them, they were designed for experienced players and meant to be hard (at least with RD, PoR is the easier version of the two) and doing something to take away that part of their identity just seems wrong. But meh, even though I personally wouldn't like it as the bexp works well enough and it's how the games were originally meant to be, if it was added in a remake or whatever I would probably use it to get everyone up to level 20 promoted.

I've only played Xenoblade 1 so my experience is pretty limited. I do want to get into Xenosaga though as I really like KOS-MOS in her various appearances in crossover games over the past few generations.

Me, I just try to not do anything to hurt people though what defines as right and wrong for me isn't necessarily the action, but the events leading up to something, stealing is wrong when it's for personal gain, but stealing for your family so they can eat isn't as clear. In short, it's case by case and really it's people making choices that cause events to happen, we don't have a machine that can visit alternate worlds yet or time travel so we don't know, just live the way we've been living.

So Elise looks to be interesting, I like that tome idea that was said a few pages ago (the one where all mages use the steel tome or whatever and different combos pull out different spells). And of course we can assume Sakura will get in due to counterparts. Oh boyo, I might as well throw in my two-piece about this. I'm a new fan of the series, I won't ever deny that, and Awakening is my favorite game of the series and of all time. Now I'm not trying to pull any Awakening is the best things or whatever, just keep in mind, the games you enjoyed as an older fan made you nostalgic and biased towards those games, heck it made you fall in love with the series. People feel that way about Awakening and Fates too. We can't deny that the series was dropping before Awakening, and then we got to here, with a gaiden remake, a mobile game that combines all games (representation is lacking for some I'll admit), and a warriors game about to be released. The series has come a long way in just 5 or so years. It honestly was an astounding turnaround point that IS is still trying to figure out what happened. They decided to go with the safest bets for this game being the games that sold the most and the classic game. Am I dissapointed with the lack of representation, yes, gods I would love to play as Roy or Ike or Nephenee or if by some long shot Midia got in. But at the same time despite my personal preferences about characters, I still play the game (in this case buying it) a prime example being Smash Bros. No-one in my top 10 got into the game (though I did jokingly guess Corrin and Bayonetta months before they were revealed) but I still play it as it's a fun game that brought me and my friends together, it got me into Zelda and Fire Emblem among other series. Fire Emblem since has gotten me into other series (mostly series featured in the Project X Zone games), and that was a small crossover between Fire Emblem (2 playable characters and 1 npc plus 2 maps) and so many other series. Also since smash did get me into Zelda, I played Hyrule Warriors (legends). Which was my first warriors game, and it won me over. Let me say Hyrule Warriors did a similar thing with it's base game (but with a smaller roster) as it only had Ocarina of Time (equivalent to Shadow Dragon in this case) Twilight Princess (equivalent to Awakening) and Skyward Sword (equivalent to Fates) and got support for a long time and even had a re-release with much new content. The only games to not really be represented is Minish Cap, Breath of the Wild (since it came out after legends dlc season and would probably be the Echoes equivalent) and maybe the four sword games/triforce heroes. Point is, they start small,and expand to include most of the games possibly being repped. Beyond all that, I got it as it was a game where I play as Link and mowed down enemies, I didn't care about roster reveals and whatnot. This game I do care some about the roster reveals, but ultimately I'm here to wipe the floor with grunts bodies as a Fire Emblem character, would I like better representation yes, will I still play it and be satisfied, yes, because it's meant to be a fun game and I choose to support my favorite series no matter what, it's your choice, but does having a specific character in make or break the game? I'm confident more characters will get added either as dlc or free updates (hyrule warriors did both), and ultimately, the concept of this game should be the buying point, not the details like specific characters or mechanics. Also let me say I'm happy Awakening was included in the game, but if it had been replaced with Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn, I would still buy it, because I enjoy the series as a whole, not in parts, but as a whole, this series has a lot of history that would be nearly impossible to include in one game no matter how long it's been in development, and those games have their fans and they deserve a spot in this game, it'll happen eventually just the hate over being genuinely excited or dissapointed in this game is why the Fire Emblem community is known for being so terrible. Everyone has an opinion, but respecting and thinking logically over another's opinion is what brings a fandom together and will truly make a serene forest. Edit: Also the PR for this game has been a disaster, it's been established.

Man sounds like you've been busy, I know how much of a pain those maps can be (especially that 2nd desert one) and with the other bs mine placement made me have a lot of error playing the game, at least I learn from my mistakes,

So it is highly likely that the Black Knight will be a GHB, but also due to people scouring the Heroes website (maybe datamining it IDK) we also have a sprite of Nephenee, https://www.reddit.com/r/FireEmblemHeroes/comments/6x4m97/the_black_knight_and_nephenee_found_on_the_feh/ so if that is true, then I've seen some speculation on her being a tempest trial unit. If so I'd be so hype (hyped for Nephenee either way) as it would mean my top 3 favorite fire emblem characters are in heroes, with Cordelia, Nephenee, and Amelia (now summoning them is a different story, as I've still yet to get Amelia).

It seems that way by the few known valkyria in the games, I know of Valkyria revolution, but from what I've gathered the developers wanted it completely separate in almost every way from the chronicles games. Though it is made by the same devs I think within the same franchise. Best example I got of how I think it works is Devil May Cry, with the new Dante's game being Valkyria Revolution and the older games being Valkyria Chronicles. (Though I have yet to play any DMC game and Valkyria revolution so this is just me making correlations based off what I've read/seen on youtube)

I wouldn't mind seeing a playthrough of VC 3 at least, as since it never got released in the west I haven't played it yet, yet somehow Kurt, Riela, and Imca all made it into Project X Zone. Yeah the weapons do get a little ridiculous with size.

I honestly chose Lyn, mainly due to a few reasons: I like her as a character, she is the first and only mounted archer in the game, she negates distant counter, has a very easy to build layout, avoiding the summoning of the colorless abyss, and the fact she is my first and only grey 5 star. Now it's up to preference, Ike is a freaking wall against everything and deals more competently against horse and flier emblem, plus his design is great, Lucina is also great, I love her great lord design, she is a great boosting unit while able to hold her own, and Lucina is and always will be a rare character, Roy is a fast hitting, special triggering monster, but that's about it besides his high mobility, classic design, and possibly best quote in the game "ROY'S OUR BOY!". Like I said I went with Lyn and have not been dissapointed, and another option is summon as much as possible on the normal banner before you pick your 5* that way you can always pick a unit you didn't get via summoning.

Sounds almost like except replace Radiant Dawn with Shadow Dragon for ones played, and maybe go back in time a bit for when I first got into it, but anyways glad to see another fan. Also nice profile supporting the best child unit in fates (tied with Ophelia cause Ophelia is literally a god)

RIP Edy, not only in your playthrough but I just tried the Edy detachment dlc, and oh boy was I not expecting that, got decently far to a point

While I don't watch anime too often, it is very deep for a lot of it, and explores interesting scenarios. One of my favorite animes is an adaptation of one of my favorite game series. I know Crunchyroll is a good place to watch anime for free, though not everything is dubbed, it just about always has been subbed, the only downside is the ads that play (there's roughly 5 ad breaks per episode, and each one can be up to 2-3 minutes) but it's a fair trade off for free anime, and there is premium if you want to avoid ads but it's not necessary (well unless you're trying to catch up on something with a few hundred episodes) And they do have anime from Japan of course, but one thing I know is that they do have some western anime on there, the main one being RWBY, which was made by rooster teeth (the guys who did red vs blue) And a small recommendation, a decent starter anime is Sword Art Online, it's often the most hated anime among the genuine fanbase but is loved by many simple fans (so basically think of it as Awakening) I myself started watching anime on it, and while I respect it, it's no where close to my favorite anime, plus it's a video game related one so it'll be interesting to you I'm sure. Anyways hope you enjoy getting into anime.

Honestly happy to get a release date, on the fence about the SE, since I think I'm not missing anything if I skip it, though the exception would be those character cards have my interest. Now getting on the bandwagon of character hoping: I'll be honest I was going to get this game no matter what since I've wanted it ever since Hyrule Warriors, but ever since Cordelia was confirmed oh boy have I not stopped being hyped for this game. The only other character I would really want to see would be Severa, as Lucina is the only child unit in the game, and maybe having a guard or whatever will work (by extension we could technically bring Owain into this) and for class variety, I know someone mentioned us not having a beefy sword unit, well maybe Severa could fulfill that role and bring in axes for some moves as well. And for the Owain case, besides the lords, we haven't gotten a speedy sword character yet (yes I'm considering Ryoma a lord) and even though he's known for being a sword master, maybe have him as an assassin while still using his specific sword in specials (if assassins use daggers that is), but as much as I love awakening, it's unlikely and not good for me to ask more from it. As from shadow dragon, still hoping for Caeda (probably a sword flier), possible Hardin, and I hope Linde and Merric get in as well (Merric be a fast but weak mage, and Linde be a larger AOE unit with long cooldown frames to make her balanced) and going slightly off from shadow dragon, Katarina would be another hope of mine (maybe a mixed mage between Linde and Merric) and for another physical unit or two, bring in Draug as well anything knight, and if not Hardin, then Camus. And for other games I do hope we get 1-2 secret reps in the launch game and they get dlc seasons (down for that, Hyrule Warriors Legends I didn't mind)

So after much consideration, I've decided on Lyn, since I have no grey 5 stars and I'm predicting Lyn will be top 3 for archers, and I will be whaling for everyone else (Roy lowest priority, sorry my boy but the others are really good) with Lucina and Ike being next.

I'm in a toss up between Lyn and Lucina for my free summon, Lyn seems WAY OP and is the first horseback archer (also the grey summoning stone has some of the worse luck, looking at you 4* Wrys) but at the same time, when I saw Lucina I nearly cried tears of joy that her great lord design looks amazing. Oh yeah I also cried when they said we'd get one for free, as they haven't done that to us yet, and on the biggest and possibly hypest banner yet they do it, they're really trying to appeal to many. Even though I'm in a toss up between Lyn and Lucina, I really do hope I pull them all, and I may actually whale beyond the amount I normally go for (sorry Amelia, even though I don't have you yet, these CYL versions take priority)
