They're not adding a fourth. We've known back when the DLC was (accidentally) leaked in the eshop descriptions that we were onl getting 3 costumes. Though if it makes you feel better, it's still technically for 4 for awakening...thanks to bride lucina for bying the season pass!

Well, first of all, this pack did have datamine things. We've known about Owain's sword, Lissa's axe (shown in her render) & Cordelia's lance (hidden behind Lissa) since the game came out becaues they, along side every other PRF weapon for base game characters, have been sitting unused in the code. They are not going to arbitrarily give every single one of those weapons except 2. Especially one to Robin. Famitsu never shows everything. Last time they did not, I believe, detail all the opuses or the divine dragon stone (also datamined) or I believe anna's bow (same!) until the website clarified. Fates' DLC showed off all of 3 armor breaks despit egiving it to everyone. Again I get this isn't enough for you (though frankly ability to buy individual weapons and armor breaks for a single character would be even more greedy than a big bundle) to begin with, but you're just straight up wrong about what's being shown here.

Literally every other character in the game has broken armors they are not going to arbitrarily decide not to give it to Frederick. Likewise, they don't always show off the weapons. SD only showed off the wing spear because of its skill and because it was in Caeda's render. We didn't see the divine dragonstone or anna's bow until the website updated. Here we see Cordelia's Gungnir & Lissa's Healing Axe, but, again, they are not going to give the prf weapons to everyone except Frederick (Armored Axe, I believe) or Robin (Thoron) If that's not enough for you, that's totally fair! But you made a pretty snap decision that goes against everything established in previous DLC packs and what has been datamined for months.

Surprsiing for Takumi (he event has 2 pieces to go off of), but Sakura I guess makes sense. Elise's artwork (featuring a staff) works pretty well when you swap the staff for the book, but it'd be a little awawkrd to swap the staff for a bow.

Man what on earth is going on with Olivia's sword. There's just...a lot...going on there. Some of the new stuff added is kind of odd, isn't it? This for example. Why...? I wouldn't necessarily do it now, but if it gives a lot of materials i will gladly throw Xander into the chipper, relevel him, and do it again and again. Also bummed we got Dark Flier Cordelia instead of Dark Mage Owain. And surprisingly Owain is the first character whose model did not match their official artwork. strange, since i'm pretty sure he mimics it perfectly in his intro scene.

I don't think the notice is necessarily saying a new character ala Inigo, Shigure or Charlotte will appear. The singular phrasing is odd, but otherwise it just seems like they're saying new stuff is coming on the 22nd.

Can confirm. I never got the DLC but I kept up with the discussion about it and even at the end of the DLC the best way to grind was to abuse the rupee glitch which would maybe get you a couple levels.

Gunnthra, Xander & Abel can all have lancebreaker, being a ranged unit doesn't matter. Do you have drawback or reposition on your horses? She could feasibly head in, hit/kill charlotte, then get repositioned out. I assume Abel is still a brave lance unit? He should be able to get the kill on Caeda (if you dont want to use QR or BTB Gunnthra for the sake of lnacebreaker strats) or Cordelia, they're pretty frail and I assume you have horse buffs going. Absolute emergency you can give HIM one of those breaker skills You can just give bowbreaker to any of your units rather than pop a blessing. Even if you only use bowbreaker here and now, there's always a chance they come another chance later. I have Kagero with both dagger & bow breakers and switch accordingly, for example. I have a xander stil lcarrying around green tomebreaker from the first tempest and it's been helpful a few more times since. It's worth the investment. Have you considered adding supports between your units as well? The few extra stat points can be the difference between life & death. You can also just pop a blessing on a unit you think might be more useful. There's a lot of blessings to go around and in general I find it's nice to have 5 units available than just 4.

Let me put this another way: what is your team if you have any green (or maybe blue, idk) unit, a lancebreaker green should be able to at least partially handle Charllotte, who you can very safely lure out. Did you give any ranged user, green preferred but high res blue or colorless accepted, a wind blessing? Because then you can experiment with luring out Caeda on the first turn. Blue Tome Breaker, Quick Riposte, things like that. Even better if you can handle both on the same turn, but whatever. Seal wise there's lots of useful things like the distant defense seals, stat up seals, drive defense and the extra hones, quick riposte (even unupgraded) They won't come for you until you enter someone's area so you can spend time buffing people if needed Cordelia is dangerous, but bow breaker can help guarantee the kill since she's frail. Ideally on player phase. Also you claim "nor need it" but clearly you need something!

Armor squad (Zelphiel (no refine), Halloween Henry, Valentine Lyn, Valentine Hector) made short work , though it did get pretty close to the finish at the end. I think at some point, these infenral healers are going to start having refined staves and then everything is going to go directly to hell.

On the assumption they just do another round of Awakening, Fates, SD and they stick with 4 new characters (sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) Awakening: Donnel (new lance, with a moveset emphasizing inexperience and sillier maneuvers), Virion (bow knight), Walhart (Fred clone) Fates: Arthur (new axe, using the current NPC axe set we have), Selena (bow knight, same as virion), Subaki (peg clone) SD: Camus (mounted lance), Ogma (an axe and just doubling up with Arthur's moveset, you could have a silly Navarre/Ogma support where the former razzes the latter over the waepon triangle), Nyna (Linde clone) Elect me as game designer and i will give yo ua dlc without a single sword
