    • Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
    • Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
    • Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon

My first was 5th grade with FE8 from my friend shane. I remember having around 12 units left by chapter 15, can't remeber who, and I never got rennac because I killed L'archel and I refused to pay 10000g. Also, I didn't know how to even use arenas until my 4th playthrough. :/

My first FE game was Shadow Dragon. I bought it at a EB games when it first came out. One of my first mistakes was overusing Jeigan. Bastard only gains 13 exp a kill and has bad growths. I also ditched Cain in the prologue. As for the units I actually lost, I lost Gordin, Vyland, and Castor. I also promoted dudes at Lv10, so I had shit stats. I gave up at about Chapter 13.

My second play was a bit better. I ditched Jeigan in the prologue because I now knew that he sucked, and my characters turned great since I promoted them at Lv20. I also learned about RNG abuse by my third PT, and used it to get pwn stats.

On my first playthrough I didn't do that good a job of training my units.

The only people who died were Failcaiah (one-shotted by an archer on 1-6 part 1) and Ike (3-1 due to an Elthunder critical).

Needless to say I've hated Failcaiah from that day onwards.

B) It was FE3 Book 1 for me.

I even still have the file.

Let's see, Abel, Cain, Gordin, and Draug died, I didn't know I could visit villages or recruit enemies until quite late in the game (so goodbye Navarre and Merric), I was stuck on Misheil's Chapter, and this was my team:

Marth: 20

Samson: 8.26

Barst: 15.69

Hardin: 17.45

Jagen: 16.04

Ogma: 13.63

Rena: 17.16

Sheeda: 10.50

George: 10.32

Thomas: 10.75

Astram: 3.11

Linde: 1.00

Lawrence: 5.64

Chainy: 1.50

Boah: 1.00

I think I'm stuck, no matter what. There's no way I can get Starlight with a team like that and even if I did get it, I doubt I could beat Gharnef with it (see my magic casters on my team). The only reason I beat Camus was because Marth got a critical hit on him with a Devil Sword.

I doubt any of you sucked as badly as I did. Then again, it's suprising that I even got that far without a tutorial (like the ones in FE7 and onward).

The first time I played FE7, I got stuck on the level where you have to fight Georg in the fire cave. I gave up and started over.

Oh, yeah, this happened to me as well, on account of my pathetically weak Eliwood. Next PT I relentlessly favoured him and gave him all my statboosters XD

Like most people here, I started with FE7. Aside from making a lot of silly mistakes (which I still do), I actually didn't do too badly. I did use a lot of "lesser" characters like Wallace, promoted characters early, and overused Marcus early on, but I don't consider those to be mistakes because I still had a relatively easy time completing the game.

Here's a fun fact about my first time playing Fire Emblem: My Lyn's strength grew at Sain-like levels. I was pretty surprised when I learned almost a year later that her strength wasn't that high normally.

Radiant Dawn.It was love at first sight between me and this game:The graphics, the characters, the story. Not so much for the gameplay, I only had Zihark,Micaiah,Tauroneo,Sothe,Volug and Ilyana after P1 in my first playthrough on easy XD.I looked on some specialised sites and then I became kinda good.I am even better now because of this site:).

I still didn't train eliwood after, I couldn't beat that

level cause I mostly use prepromotes, and Erk didn't do

well against Georg.

My first FE was Radiant Dawn. I was relying on Haar and Titania to get me through. It worked (kinda) and Micaiah only died a few thousand times on 1-9, [sarcasm] win! [/sarcasm]

First NA FE was my first. I went with a "good leaders make sacrifices" approach and after being stuck at "Cogs of destiny( i forget the ch number) for weeks i finally got to the final level with...Oswin and Marcus and Pent( by far my favorite). needless to say i finished the game with Athos( thats the old guy's name right) soloing the last chapter

So last June (2009) I was playing Brawl, and I want to play all the games from it (now I only need game and watch). So I see that Nintedo had recently released a new fire emblem SD. I bought it and I love it. Of course I made many stupid mistakes (like using Jeigan) in my first playthrough, but I quickly got the hang of it. Now I have played (and beaten, except Dark Dragon, Mustery, and new Mystery) every FE game.

My first FE was Sacred Stones. My brother decided I needed to try it, so he told me that I wanted to try it and showed me a picture of Seth. It was a very convincing argument.

I guess I wasn't too terribly bad, considering. But I, of course, went Ephraim's route for my first time because he was the better looking sibling and thus I ended up swearing at the damn ghost ship. A lot. Luckily, I had nurtured Franz into Great Knight brilliance so he helped negate the effects of my silly mistakes :'D

Path of Radiance

Thanks to Melee, and a pamphlet that had info on Blazing S-word, I knew what would happen to the characters and what not.(not to mention healthy reminders from the Griel Mercenaries) I already had the rules down in the early game so I was just blazing through. Although I did attempt to fight the Black Knight when he appeared in that town. Game Over. Other than that I had a flawless first playthrough. Well, I didn't know about Stefan until I saw a ???? in the art section. Still flawless.

Shadow Dragon was my first FE. My first PT went pretty well since I hate in whenever someone dies. I ditched Jeigan after seeing that he got no exp., and Gordin decoyed in the beginning. And I arena abused like crazy. 20/20 units at Ch. 11 doesn't make for a very challenging game (I had access to the Online Shop, so I bought 15 Master Seals). Still, I thought that it was a fantastic game until I played Radiant Dawn. After SD, I went out and picked up FE 7-10. Next up, FE3DS and hopefully FE1-6 someday. (Dumb Nintendo for not localizing them and making us use emulators or learn Japanese.)

FESD is a remake of FE1. New Mystery, which is already out in Japan for the DS, is a remake of FE3.

. . .unless you really want to revisit the original game.

^ My bad, I meant FE 2-6. I'd really rather not revisit the first one. Hopefully New Mystery will make it over to the U.S. for the holiday season. That gives Nintendo six months to localize...(From the JP release date...July 15th, I think)

Im actually playing FE1 (at the same time i doing FEDS H1) right now and ive completed Shadow dragon twice already. Its fairly easy when you know the game but its kinda slow and i love how everything is so different. Ex: GORDON IS USEFUL! Some animations are funny/messed up/ wicked. Armor knights and Pegasus can use swords. There is no weapon triangle. Any Lord on NES is BEAST B)

I'd say SSBM was my 1st FE experience, Roy quickly became my favorite character to use, especially for All Star on Very Diff.

My 1st FE game was FE8. I sucked of course, and resorted to GameShark to beat it. Soon after I lost GameShark and sold FE8. Only to later buy FE9. Since then, I have beaten all the U.S. FE games, including FE8 which I bought again and beaten fairly.

And have recently bought FE1 and FE2. Of which so far I have beaten FE1.

FE7 for me. First exposure to FE was in SSBM. Thought that red-haired guy on the boxart was Roy and the guy with blue hair and an axe was Marth (puzzled why Marth had an axe instead of a sword like in Melee??). Proceeded to think that Marcus was pretty badass and that swordmasters were so kewl(!) on my first playthrough. Then I stopped being an idiot and have beaten FE6 and 8-11 since.
