PKLucas531 Posted December 23, 2013 Share Posted December 23, 2013 Ch 3 is a bit annoying, you have to rescue 4 children and take them back to specific villages. Doing this get you either immediate rewards(a scroll and something else) or rewards later on in the game(a recruitable character and a Warp staff) so you should definitely go out of your way to do that. It's also your first run in with a siege tome. If you take too long, a Bishop will open a chest with a Meteor tome in it, which I doubt most units will survive at this point in the game. After Chapter 3 is the hardest segment of the game for some players, and it takes a unique(?) way of preparing for it to make it easier on yourself. Since it's a blind playthrough I won't give any more hints than to keep a savestate before you Seize in Chapter 3. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

IIRC, the characters you've been using have the fatigue from the last few chapters built up, but you should have a few fresh guys so don't worry about it. There are also a few mages, so you can take there stuff and sell it for a good bit of money. Edit: Fatigue starts happening in Chapter 8, which is right after you get done escaping from Manster. Edit 2: Some semi-spoilery stuff for CH3: I'd suggest giving the Fire Sword and the armorslayer you get to Leaf and/or Lifis before the end of the chapter.
