Ansem Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 (edited) It's cute how you talk like Yang is gonna be there for a while. i am aware, i was referring to that chapter in particular. the wyvern are not a problem since yang is there. by the time yang is gone your units are a lot stronger and kind hold their own ^im aware the both of you are beta tester as well (real professional publicly complaining about the hack btw keep it classy guys), but the both of you complain about difficulty that isnt there. which is why i suggested he screen his betatesters a little better. most of us that have played these games are competent since we've done it for years. no need to tune down the difficulty of a game that is balanced enough. I shouldn't be showing that stuff off anyway because that should be more incentive for y'all to play the hack. That being said I will not be able to update at all it seems until I figure out how to upload many images and get their links here very fast, EDIT: I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!! Ok here is what I did for the people who want to generate multiple bbc links in imgur Step 1: upload your shit, it will force you to make it an album but that is ok. Step 2: Make sure you are logged in, once you do, click your name and go to [images], NOT [albums]. Albums tab is horrible in this new UI Step 3: Go to [All images] tab and select that new album you just uploaded. Step 4: Click [View Image Info] tab and scroll down to [generate image links]. Click that shit homie. Step 5: You can click and drag a box around all the delicious images you want to use. Step 6: next to : Select images to generate their links: 60 images selected is the [done] button, click it and your old generate multiple links tab is back in your life. step 7: ????? step 8: profit. Agreed, I didn't notice it while playing the game because I was speed reading and mashing A but when I review it like this, I am realizing this game is cramming as much lore as possible every chance it gets. This is not necessarily a bad thing but it kind of doesn't need it because gameplay itself and the conversations tell enough already. ch 2, part 3, Another boss shows up only to die ok this is my savestate, cause I knew if i didn't deal with this right somebody was going to die. (which astrea did do) So yeah, only Sol can wield the iron blade which makes me question where are the other units are from? Does this imply that only Sol is from merv? "even a object traveling at 50 mph can do some damage..." but no seriously get some strength to go with that rage little lady bandits are muscle dudes too but yeah will be using a sword lol. Better in storytelling than all the other houses/villages combined. glad he missed, he would have died as seen here yang did not take that smack to the face well I will never visit houses again with a bit of savestate shenanigans.... oh, forgot about them can't retire from houses just yet. Shit is expensive as ever. Also here is where I knew for sure you was using some megaman zero tunes in the hack and I approve so hard. Thoughts on this chapter The gameplay is fucking solid. It is everything a early game chapter with bandits should be 10/10 the only problem is the text in the houses, A lot of story that could be cut down some more. Most of that damage came from a now dead horses. heal up and get ready to bait meanwhile.... Sol is heading north. why? that is why. so let me talk about this. On turn 2 on the enemy phase (it was really early ) these fuckers move. Which is kind of bad considering there were a bunch of semi-dangerous group up here that you either have to immediately take care of and somewhat put you in range of these dangerous assholes or run south from the very beginning while reinforcements show up all around you in like the next turn. Like I said before about wyverns, sending this powerful of a unit force while fighting off reinforcements has the potential to get full of bullshit fast. It is not all bad as you about to see but for hard mode, this is something to keep in mind when you go to balance these chapters blademaster! My recommendation would be make them move like a turn later or they move when the player gets into a certain range like I thought they would do. like when a player gets to that house near the fort. anyway I go to bait with a defenseless archer. here is where I learn Astrea is fucking hax when it comes to map movement. Yang handled the mages and will now proceed to the boss. bastard actually hurts with that axe ow ow ow ow you fucking shame me +1 ok back to a savestate. will try to savage this by baiting. Charles gets lure, golden boy gains stats he needs and reinforcements show up down here. while up here looks fucked anyway recruitment time. the real OTP love, honor, and blah blah just shut the fuck up and listen to the woman listen he did don't care because I don't keep it. fucking beige +2 he did a crit and it was fucking amazing. ok so here is my plan, I start over because I am going to fucking bum rush to the boss in 3 turns. Boom, turn 3 and I am about to roast me some boy on a horse. the rarest delicacy in all the land. what you about to taste is this cold hard axe son. and yang does make it super quick. not even a halberd son now to clean up oh wait did I 4 turn the boss? huh now I feel less pro more levels, kath really needs to get strength. golden boy got some con and skill so he is now useful. Nell will get benched as soon as fucking possible I swear ok so this is why this chapter is not so bad. This guy can actually attack from a distance and not suicide himself to my units. however the fucker did so in the sea so I will have to lure him even more. As for his crew, they got rekt against yang. holy shit Astrea is pretty tanky. Like seriously if its not a lance user, she can handle a lot of damage. keep doing you boo wow what a shitty level up again did not see this bastard having a lance behind their healer. Astrea +3 back to a savestate ok so mikey kept dying to axe boy cause I never healed his 10 hp wound seriously he sucks final fucking lee the last enemies golden boy making me proud some savestate abuse to check out all the houses. Seriously, this Jenna too polite for you guile didn't even break a sweat Thoughts on this chapter Like I said before, the wyverns moving so early in a chapter where reinforcements surround the player can end up in a player calling bullshit. The chapter concept is pretty good along with the map design however, what irks me is that steep 1000 gold penalty for taking too long. That needs to at least be cut in half because I can easily see the player taking longer than 12 turns unless the penalty really doesn't affect hard mode. Also having yang solo the way to the boss is kind of a screw you to the player due to losing a good amount of experience. Not sure what to say on this right now until later chapters. I have some new ideas for Charles in regards to what skills he gets as well. Yang is just meant to solo the bottom half of this map. It's how it was designed. Lol the love, it burns.
