Square just shot themselves in the foot.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about Japanese culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in America where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in Japan, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the japanese public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase FFXIII for either system, nor will they purchase any of Square's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Square has alienated an entire market with this move.

Square, publicly apologize and cancel FFXIII for 360 or you can kiss your business goodbye.

called someone a racist for being racist and she gave me this gem:

I'm not a racist; you're just the kind of person that turns everything into a matter of racism. You disagree with something, you cry racist because it shuts people up, it shuts threads down and that's easier than having to THINK and form a real response. You're a typical sjw, you're intellectually lazy and act like you're still in middle school, not that you're far from it.

Go crawl into your little safe space so you don't have to think or read anything that conflicts with your (stupid) viewpoint.

some person was drawing pedophilia babyfur art/porn so i said it shouldnt be allowed to be linked on the site bc there are children and someone defending the pedo sent him this message:

I like to call them the "I'm a Sensitive Person, Give me Special Treatment" committee, because they're all a gang of morons who shop at Victoria's Secret and make people's lives miserable. They should start a forum of their own, and all the topics would be related to how much they hate certain people. Lovely!

I just told my professor that I will create a Visual Novel without words. He looks at me like I just blew his mind. I'm gonna be an author!

QOTD 1276 - What is your favorite location in a video game? submitted by DisobeyedCargo

I....... wow that is a tough question

scenery is almost the entire reason (well that may be exaggerating a bit~) I play video games so I appreciate so many locations

I guess to make things easier on myself I'll just think of Guild Wars 2 locations because that game is gorgeous and detailed (although once I get to play Breath of the Wild I'm sure I'll get plenty of new favorite locations)

and to make things even easier I've just scanned through the wallpaper screenshots I saved from the game. I think my answer would be the Central Plaza in the city Divinity's Reach

although the newest area has some really gorgeous locations~ ahhhhhhhh it's so tough to choose just one

Zeal Kingdom from Chrono Trigger.

Honorable mention to the Spirit Temple in OoT, Hotland in Undertale, and Silesia in FE4.

I guess these areas are all from some of my favorite video games of all time. I never realized that atmosphere had such an effect on me. I know I've always liked story based games but this is an interesting observation.
