It costs alot when I'm trying to save up for New Mystery. Its neither one or the other. I don't know why I can just download it, but my fahter says no because its on the GBA so I should buy it. I don't think the Advance version is $40, I got mine at a Gamestop for much, much less. If it is, it's on Amazon, and non-online options do exist if you're willing to search a little. The GBA version is the best, IMO, due to the extra post-game and the lower price point, along with being portable. The PSX version's lag is incredibly bad, so I wouldn't recommend it. The SNES version is also available if you're that type, but is much rarer and more expensive. The FF 3DS game is currently unknown and unconfirmed to be FFVI, and most likely won't be, so don't rely on that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ϲharlie Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 The PS1 port is terrible. Not only does it have bad lag, but the sound quality took a dive for some unknown reason. The extras don't even come close to making up for that. The GBA port has even worse sound quality, but it also has more and better additional content, and an arguably better translation. IMHO, you're really best off emulating the SNES version. It might not have any post-game content tacked, but it does have tons of fanmade romhacks that keep it interesting to play once you've finished it, fix bugs, or otherwise improve the quality of the game. I'd recommend going after the GBA port if you can, it's cheap and you don't have to play it on an emulator. I don't know why. I hate playing games on emulators. I made a suggestion that guy who made the OP inquired about. And the next two posts were essentially uselessly condesending the subject of suggestion, then I pointed out why I suggested it because they didn't get it the first time. I don't understand the point of taunting me, its almost like you want an arguement. I could just report you for flamebaiting but it would likely get ignored.
