Esau of Isaac Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 My favorite anime character of all time...Hmm...that's pretty damn difficult. I could list a bunch that I like: I always found Vash, from Trigun, to be pretty interesting. He was intelligent, cheery, and upbeat, and was able to have that attitude in a pretty harsh and unforgiving world. The "I'm going to act like I'm an idiot even though I'm not" routine really grew on me, and the fact that he was voiced by a guy like Johnny Yong Bosch only served to solidify him as one of my favorite characters. Another character that always seemed to catch me was L from Death Note. He was a damn genius, but not without his own original perks; eating sweets, his sitting position, mannerisms in speaking, etc. They all served to really give him character, and the manner in which he approached situations gave him a lot more color. He's truly an interesting character. Kamina of Gurren Lagann was undoubtedly one of the most awesome and manly guys out there. He's not the smartest guy out there (...he's actually pretty dumb), and the mindbenders he produces to try and make someone feel better are legendary in the confusion they create, but when there is a fight he comes running and really knows how to deliver. Just listening to his long-winded speeches of greatness and the manner in which he genuinely throws himself into battle sure that he will win is very entertaining to watch. ...and a few others I can't really think of at the moment.
