Giving one to, say, Noah, however, may make him able to take an extra hit or two, i.e. let him frontline better. Giving a speedwing to someone with decently good avoid that sees 20 hit rates now gets 16 hit rates. Giving it to someone who enemies had 50 hit on now sees 46 hit rates. Dropping enemy hit from 20 -> 16 >>>> 50 -> 46. Making decent avoid more reliable is much better than making unreliable avoid...still unreliable. Giving a character a stat boost to help their weakness or giving it to a character to make their good stat even better. I believe what people are trying to say is that you have to look at the stats situationally. In Reikken's situation, Noah can do more with a Dracoshield than Ellen for obvious reasons. Lugh all nice and fast but he still has more use for a speed boost in any situation than a Luck boost. Therefore, Lugh still benefits more from Speedwing than a Goddess Icon. That's why giving Lugh those weaker stat boosts is absolutely bull. Of course, not using a stat booster >>> using a stat booster, and in that case, once again, Lugh >>>> Lilina. Starwolf_UK Posted February 14, 2009 Share Posted February 14, 2009 On the last page I noticed people talking about Goddess Icons which somehow turned into speedwings except... ...you were still talking about avoid. Speedwings add Attack Speed as well as avoid. If you ever come into a situation where Lugh has 12 attack speed and Lilina has 8 but the enemies have 6 then yes Lilina would get benefit from it (since the enemy units would now be doubled). Otherwise, it isn't much of a deal what happens either way as ultimately it doesn't make any siginifcant change to either units combat perforance (well i suppose it effects durability indirectly and in a minor way).
