    Beating these people is usually a great feeling, though. I like fighting people who use at least a few different characters, stay for multiple matches, and are around my skill level. Bonus points if we make a silent pact to taunt at the start of each match.

    You've got terms mixed up. The protagonist can be a villain, but not an antagonist. The protagonist is just the primary character the story follows. I also don't know where anyone got the idea that Kamui is antagonistic in the first place.

    You could make an entire moveset out of that hair alone. Could she be a (semi)clone? Yes. But anyone who's actually played a DKC game with her should be able to see that there's plenty to draw from to make her an entirely unique character. People said Rosalina would be a Peach clone, Bowser Jr. would be a Bowser clone, and in the pre-Brawl days some even said Diddy Kong would be a Donkey Kong clone, and look how those turned out.

    The ballot says only to vote for a video-game character, not one who isn't already an assist trophy or something else in-game.

    It is actually noteworthy that spoken dialogue in cutscenes will (supposedly/I hope) change based on gender. Awakening's dialogue was written specifically to avoid such things. Makes one wonder if it can change based on other things...

    If you're on Easy or Normal, whichever one you prefer. It really doesn't make much difference. If you're on Hard, Tanith is probably the best choice, but you still can't go wrong with any of them. As far as any of these three compared to each other is concerned.

    I'll be 25 when I finally get to play this game. I got into the series when I was 13. If only the game was coming a year later I could say I've spent half my life with FE by the time it comes out.

    Not a good comparison. Different times, different expectations, especially since the information for this game has largely been revealed worldwide, which was far from the scenario with Awakening.

    The ballot specifically says "video-game characters." And even if people vote for non-game characters (they will), I'm sure there will be more than enough votes for legitimate candidates.

    I sooner consider the original Donkey Kong to be the first Mario and Donkey Kong game, from which they both split off to their own, than either one as a spin-off of the other. If one were a spin-off, though, it would be DK, for the reasons Rabbattack stated.

    This is probably a good idea. Whether or not I apply it remains to be seen. "MU" just really, really bugs me.

    Nope. Gonna keep doing it. "MU" has been dumb ever since Awakening came out internationally, and what makes you think I care that it's interchangeable with "Avatar?" I'm advocating using their default names so we don't have three characters in the series that are all "MU."

    Meh. I'm not that mad. And I won't be as long as having only one copy still gives you a full experience (in terms of "Was this game worth $40?"). Best case scenario, it could be like getting 2 FE games with one at half price (and eventually a third, also at half price).

    This is what I'm worried about the most. It seems a bit dumb to emphasize choice when it's more like two separate games rather than making decisions on the way.

    It's not just you (also, don't take me too seriously, I meant what I said but I'm more annoyed than angry). "MU" is just an abbreviated transliteration that's never been used officially in English and will only come to be more confusing for people as time goes on. People need to just start referring to these characters by their default names: Kris, Robin, and now (until further notice) Kamui. And great thanks to Smash Bros. for helping to popularize the name "Robin."

    I am not at all opposed to Lucas returning, but I'm very surprised he came before Wolf. Wolf is generally more popular and is from a more well-known, worldwide franchise that is soon to have a new game, whereas Mother is done. In any case, I think we can be a bit more confident that more Smash DLC will happen.

    What the fuck is MU? God damn it, people, stop using this moniker. It's becoming especially bad since we now have 3 potential MUs/avatars we can be referring to (4 if you count FE7's). But no, that probably was not.
