  1. Hope you don't mind edits, Yasako. His jaw felt a bit weird to me.
  2. I think Tauroneo's chest plate needs to be skinnier. Right now it covers all the way across his chest and arms, and really emphasizes that his shoulders are small.

  5. His facial expression is so derp, why is his mouth hanging open like that? Going to be honest, I like the old one more in just about every way, the hair is better, the expression is better, all of it, except maybe the cheek bone. I think he needs to be a bit smaller, maybe it's a problem with his original portrait, but he just looks too big.
  6. Fear the mystery of the arm! What can it do? I'm not sure, but I bet it can shoot lasers! Maybe not, how about mecha pirates?
  7. He doesn't ever really change pose, he slides across the ground and then swings his arm wildly without putting any of his body into it. If you try doing any of that IRL it won't be a very effective attack. I think his approach should be more like Marth's dash attack from SSB, where he would drop down into a low sprint instead of just teleporting or whatever.
  8. His mouth doesn't really look very centered, a bit too far to our right. The jacket collar area looks like it's straight on, but it's not. I think the far side needs to curve away some.

    Ugly First Attempt

    Not really FE style (is that what you're going for?), and the pose is pretty awkward. He's like slightly leaning back and his arm is so straight, not very natural. I'd suggest getting a bunch of FE battle sprite stills and putting them next to your art as comparison. Also, it's annoying to have to download attachments to look at sprites.   11. Oh dear. I can get my trailer done and submitted by the end of the day but demo patch will be late if it ever even comes. The bugs are in full force and a lot of stuff broke today. Nobody is LPing it and I can get footage for the digest video so I hope that isn't too much of a problem.

  13. Okay, I have identified the problem to be length related. Text that was broken started working when I removed a bunch of it and then broke when I started adding back in. Is there some sort of limit when replacing text? Like does it need to be similarly sized to the text you're replacing, or is this some sort of "just me" anomaly?
  14. The red head looks like she has a fivehead... The neck twist on the blond looks kinda awkward, but maybe it works.

  16. His hair looks kinda slapped on, not a lot of shading integrating it onto the face and neck. His body is kinda hard to tell what's going on, the trim blends in in a lot of places. The cape also looks weird without having a third shade. Also he has 35 colors O.O If you're looking for sprite feedback you'll probably have better luck on the sprite forum, too.

  18. I started by writing everything in a google doc. I did all the base writing and then also the formatting in there. When it was finished, I copy pasted that into FEditor. It might be worth noting that FEditor doesn't handle this that smoothly, it turns all the apostrophes into [No] and ellipsis into &. I don't remember if I did it on this text, but I forgot some [LoadFace]s on some other text in the batch that I had to fix after hitting apply and seeing things go wrong. Anyway, after I fixed whatever formatting problems arose, I played through the chapter I inserted the dialogue for. Every piece worked fine except for this one. (they were all inserted using the same process).
  19. [spoiler=memory viewer] So what am I looking for in the memory viewer? It doesn't seem to be telling me a lot besides that the text obviously isn't working.
