  1. Leif takes the top spot, though the TRS one comes as a close second.
  2. Oh right, I forgot castle tiles could be flown over, haha. A residual instinct from FE3, probably.
  3. Wendell could reach the boss as well if the pirate wasn't on the way, but IIRC you can't have three flier class units at that point, so it's either a super cheesy Javelin forge or a slower clear.
  4. Arena and Daggerfall are works in progress on my part so I won't comment on them. As for the others, the order from best to worst, in my eyes, would be Morrowind > Oblivion > Skyrim. I have played Skyrim more than the other two, but that was with roughly a quarter of a billion immersion mods. The civil war was genuinely more interesting than most things Oblivion's setting had to offer, but I don't think the base game really recognized the potential therein and fell flat in that regard. Markarth was also great, but the dumb and uninspired stuff of the game ultimately make me unable to deem it better than Oblivion. Though I am a bit biased towards Skyrim's environments, seeing as they feel very homelike.
  5. http://serenesforest.net/mystery-of-the-emblem/inventory/swords/ The description for Thunder Sword ('always does 10 damage') is false/misleading; the sword has 10 magical attack and doesn't take the wielder's strength into account, but the enemy's resistance is still subtracted from it to calculate the actual damage.
  6. The official translations for Finnish degrees pertaining to business/economics are seemingly all over the place, but anyhow, concentration is in Finance and Accounting.
  7. http://www.gotoquiz.com/politics/political-spectrum-quiz.html
  8. Horseman/Nomad Trooper/Bow Knight. As far as combat goes my favourites are usually units of a different class path reclassed into Horsemen, but in other aspects I'd say Wolf and maybe Dayan.
  9. I'll jump on the controversy train as well
  10. I've been steadily moving away from home consoles for a while now. A few exclusives isn't enough incentive for me to choose a platform that will, in the long run, provide much less of an experience. That said, handheld consoles still have their intrinsic quirks to keep them different from PCs, and I don't see myself straying away from them anytime soon.
  11. I guess you could throw Javelins at them, haha. You'd also have Geo at this point to maybe simplify things a bit, it's a shame Minerva doesn't get any (practically useful, that is) supports.
  12. 1. The impressions question, act surprised 2. What languages do you speak? 3. Do you enjoy classical music? If so, any favourite composers? If not, what is your excuse? :p 4. What brought you to SF in the first place? 5. What do you find most appealing about your field of study? I just realized no. 3 is more like three questions, oh well.
  13. Though mounted units with 0 con could actually rescue anything (Merlinus included) thanks to their aid formula, haha.
  14. Oh well, I guess the RNG remains just as enigmatic as ever. If an EP countercrit seems to always result in the proc that might be something to rely on, but it's effectively back to square one wrt figuring out how the first raw RN is actually determined here.
  15. C8 - 8/52 I actually managed to screw myself out of the Elysian Whip. If that isn't the greatest display of foresight ever borne witness to, I don't know what is! Oh well, I'm interested to see how things turn out. C9 - 13/65 I'm terrible at rout chapters, which might be evident. Kyle reached level 10 and promoted somewhere around turn 5 but still continues to be horrible. C10 - 3/68 Vanessa dropped KE!Eirika next to Pablo, and finished him with a Javelin on the following turn. tfw you get the first pick and everyone still beats you by 300 turns
  16. Prologue - 3/3 So tempting :( C1 - 5/8 Eirika doing her thing C2 - 5/13 Eirika had to pull a crit (probably the boss) somewhere to make it in time. C3 - 7/20 Vanessa was a bit too fragile for me to try finish the map any quicker. C4 - 6/26 Perhaps only two combat units wasn't the most rout map -friendly choice. Vanessa had to pull a few dodges here and there. C5 - 4/30 Vanessa picked up the Armorslayer while ferrying Eirika to the boss, Natasha got the Dracoshield. C5x - 7/37 Pretty self-explanatory. C6 - 3/40 Vanessa and Eirika equipped slim weapons so that they'd be able to dodge a couple of mooks with some semblance of reliability. Vanessa took care of the boss. C7 - 4/44 Eirika doing her thing again. I guess I'll go with pics as well! The B/W stats are also visible but the losses don't hold true, which might be obvious. Pretty much up to standards, res is pretty good though. +4 def is something I won't be complaining about! Brainfart, I gave her the Dracoshield Last time I drafted I had something like a +5/6mag Moulder. Guess I'll have to see how she fares. Yup. Hp/skl, great start.
  17. Yeah, it works if Marth kills Michalis from the tile right of the throne - if he's on either the tile left or down from him, enemies start blocking the throne, oddly enough. As long as he has no more than 14 def and can kill + survive every enemy that approaches, the throne is accessible on the next turn. I tested that with a 14 def and everything else capped Marth, so I wasn't sure how realistically executable it'd be within the restraints of this run. Though if he actually ends up with all the stats and boosters you outlined, I can see it happening. Oh, and one can afford burning Hammerne on actual weapons here, so Mercurius' durability shouldn't be an issue in any scenario.
