  1. Yeah, I'd rather Ninten be a Mighty Glacier item master. Because screw using actual Psycho-Kinetic abilities. Isaac lets out a howl! The mute Squire from Vale makes a return as a playable character! He brings with him different weapons to suit any situation he's in, and can switch between them using his specials. [spoiler=Specials]Neutral Special - Titan Blade Concentrate, then unleash a spectral longsword that shall rend the earth. Pressing Shield, Throw, or Special again will hold the charge for later use. The Gaia Blade deals ordinary knockback and damage, but isn't much more than that. However, it is quite versatile because of this. Side Special - Meltdown An upwards swing with an axe that fires an explosive heat wave. If done in the air, Isaac will simply swing downwards, still creating the shockwave. The axe hitbox will spike if it hits on the head. The Giant Axe holds massive knockback and damage, but is slow and bad on shields. However, when using the Giant Axe, some of Isaac's normals become quick punches and kicks. Up Special - Rising Dragon Rise into the skies with a light blade sheathed in water. Hits twice. The Masamune is notably quicker than the other weapons, but lacks the knockback necessary to finish enemies. Down Special - High Vitals Brutally swing a mace, draining life from victims. The Rising Mace is slightly faster than the Giant Axe and deals more shieldstun and hitstun, as opposed to knockback and damage. Final Smash - Judgement Summon Judgement to sentence enemies to a swift death. Once it's summoned, there is no escaping the might of the apocalypse. Be aware of the Smash Ball. [spoiler=Normals]Jab Combo: Sword - An elbow strike, pommel bash, then a slash. The second hit is easily cancellable into a tilt or dSmash. Dash Attack: Sword - A shoulder charge. Sets up for attacks in the air. fTilt: Sword - Bat away at foes with a diagonal cut outwards. Has moderate knockback. fSmash: Sword - A forward thrust with the Gaia Blade. Great horizontal coverage, but lacks vertical range.. Tilt OK. dTilt: Sword - A small kick. It's quick, but does little damage and knockback. dSmash: Sword - [spoiler=Misc.]Grab - A spectral gloved hand reaches out in front of Isaac to catch a foe. Pummel - The hand squeezes, causing a bit of discomfort. Forward Throw - Back Throw - Up Throw - Down Throw - Side Taunt - Down Taunt - Up Taunt - Incomplete for the time being, but I'm getting there.
  2. Re-in-carnation (o-oooh), re-a-lization (yeaaaah)~
  3. I'm all for having FE characters in here. But then we'd have Fates characters, and that's nooooooooooo good.
  4. [spoiler=How about...]Cost 1: Fusillade of Might "Flame Sword" Fire spouts from within the blade, scorching the ground. These cards are grazeable, so make sure they can't punish you while you use this. Fusillade of Might "Wind Sword" Blades of wind come forth from the edges of this blade, homing onto their target. Fusillade of Might "Thunder Sword" Lightning is called down from the heavens through this blade, striking down all that is airborne. Cost 2: Chalphy's Crest "Castle Breach" Seliph mounts his trusty steed, and charges at a blinding speed. This attack cannot be blocked, but it can definitely be evaded, since he's charging into the "castle". Chalphy's Crest "Miraculous Comeback" Dodge an attack, then counter with a devastating slash. Sets up for combos easily. Cost 3: Baldur Emblem "Warcry of Comrades" A devastating all-out attack made by the memory of Seliph's companions in his army. It's difficult to avoid or block, but since it takes place mostly on ground-level, jumping over it may be feasible. Cost 4: Baldur Emblem "Sword of Light" The legendary sword of Baldur. Seliph's movement speed and attack power are greatly augmented, and some of his strikes can nullify bullets. However, it will break after a while of attacking. Even legendary weapons can break. Cost 5: Legendary Legacy "Crusader of Light" Strike in tandem with the spirit of Baldur. Though it has a hefty cost and limited range, it deals a large amount of damage when it connects.
  5. No, it just encourages a different kind of grinding: support grinding. Though your suggestion is a valid one. It does require some refining, however.
  6. But wouldn't that mean that EXP distribution gets thinner? Consider this for a moment, unless you already have an answer for this: The ideal of getting the maximum stats for any unit is to have them at 20/20, or promoted at max level, and at max level. Should one slap on yet another twenty levels for them to progress on into, the game either needs to provide a means of doling out additional EXP, whether it be by having an EXP formula that outputs a greater amount or Bonus EXP, and/or having more chapters wherein enemies can be fought. Or, y'know, Arenas.
  7. The cycle starts anew, its captives left with no choice but to fight again. To defy Fate is to beckon for Death's coming.
  8. ... What? Geez, do people only enjoy Smash when it goes at a snail's pace these days? That sounds awful! Does it sound fun if it takes two minutes at best to wipe out a stock? And the match might even drag longer than that? Anyway, Lucas's new taunt is amazing. It's even more powerful than the Wizard's Blade. Falco's shine kick is really effing useless, and can't be JC'd/active on frame 1. You really can't pillar with Brawl Falco, and there's plenty of differences with Falco and Fox. Marth's old Shield Breaker, if you didn't notice, has a hitbox above it, unlike the new Shield Breaker. It also helps with edgeguarding, in that it hits things below the sword.
  9. This sounds awful! I like it. Eh, but to do this, we need relatively equal footing for both enemies and players. But then we'd need stats. Whatevs, you're the one callin' the shots around here, Rapier. We just follow through with the plan... or something like that.
  10. So will I, Radiant, but I think it's gonna turn out that way. Ah well, it won't deter me from playing it if I get my hands on IR#FE and a Wii U.
  11. If you wanna lend a hand in translating, there's another thread in this subforum for that. If you want to register for the Emblem Wiki, then PM VincentASM your desired username, and some sort of confirmation that you are not, in fact, housing the thirteenth Arcana Shadow within you.
  12. I was planning on using a full page to list every iteration of a card, so it wouldn't clutter up the Emblem Wiki. But thanks for uploading all those files, though. Guess that's a load less work for all of us.
  13. But why burn Psyenergy Points if you can just attack them, and likely do much more damage with an Unleash? Unless you don't have good Artifacts, in which case, yes.
  14. http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Chrom_(Cipher) http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Lucina_(Cipher) It's a start, but we do have our work cut out for us, so it won't be too hard.
  15. Unlike Youmu, Seliph does not have the benefit of being a half-ghost capable of shooting bullets. Unless Seliph's gimmick is that he's bulletproof, save for Supers.
  16. Y'know, it's funny you mention that, because... [spoiler=Golden Sun spoilers]After Isaac and co. protect themselves from getting tree'd in Kolima Forest by pulling out some sort of Psyenergy barrier, they know little about it. What they do know about it is that it'll help them when they need it the most. Garet then goes on to mention that their critical hits work off this very source of Psyenergy as well. Unleash rates can be boosted by accessories that boost the rates of critical hits, so it wouldn't be a far stretch if Unleashes also function with that source of Psyenergy. It's also how people actually play the game, Summon Rushing aside.
  17. Roy is, ironically, better than all of the other FE characters. EDIT: Robin can't possibly know about Marquess Eliwuss. He didn't have an Einherjar. Roy did. What kind of historical texts does he review, the ones about Eliwuss, or the ones about Rektor?
  18. Not neccesarily. In Golden Sun, certain Artifact weapons carry Unleashes, powerful attacks that can deal more damage than anything else you've got. Isaac could easily just have his specials as the four weapon types he can wield: Swords, Axes, Blades, and Maces. When he uses a special, his attacks change according to the special used.
  19. Well, Robin /is/ the Avat- Wait, is that actually an episode?
  20. The cycle starts anew, its captives left with no choice but to fight again. Fate's whims are dangerous, so be wary, lest Death catches you unaware.
  21. I can see how it'd be. So... the backgrounds of the skill textboxes are of whatever colour it needs to be? I can get behind that.
  22. You're missing the Session System. I'm guessing that longer combos can be pulled off the more weaknesses that are exploited in the Session.
