  1. Takumi3's there to snipe backrow with backrow, though +10 attack and maybe a CCS really isn't worth the trouble. Corrin1 is there for early game support/doge/CCSing. And eh... Hinoka and Setsuna are combo cards, and Suzukaze/Midoriko have proven that I can't pull off comboes. Asama is there for better/more heals.
  2. SF here, coming back from the dead to post a Ryouma MC for those whose very soul RESONATES with the crown prince of Hoshido! he's2slotho ;_; [spoiler=A really bad Ryoma deck][Copies] Cost(Promo) Character, Title [3] 5(4) Ryouma, Thundering Trueblade [2] 4(3) Ryouma, Hoshido's Successor [1] 1(-) Ryouma, Crown Prince of Hoshido* [3] 4(3) Corrin, Chosen Future of the Prince [3] 1(-) Corrin, Prince of Hoshido [4] 1(-) Hinoka, First Princess of Hoshido [2] 3(2) Takumi, User of the Fuujin Yumi [3] 1(-) Takumi, Hoshido's Youngest Royal Brother [2] 4(3) Sakura, Benevolent War Priestess [3] 1(-) Sakura, Hoshidan Younger Sister [3] 3(2) Asama, Sharp-Tongued Mountain Priest [4] 3(2) Tsubaki, Perfect Wing [4] 1(-) Tsubaki, Graceful Warrior [4] 1(-) KannaF, Young Dragon Princess [4] 1(-) Emma, Apprentice Pegasus Warrior Usual strategy of Cipher: Use MC to hit face, have other cards trade and board control/get effects off. With Ryoma5, once can have a constant 1-drop around for an effect, or a 60-ATK Kanna to further enforce control. However, Ryoma is slow to achieve his Class Change to Thundering Trueblade, so he will have to endure a good amount of face shots until he can destroy things as a Warrior of Lightning.
  3. The cycle starts anew, its captives left with no choice but to fight again. Were our happy, hopeful selves torn asunder by the endless loop that we have sentenced ourselves to?
  4. You're doing what!? Hey, don't do this to yourself. You don't know what you're getting yourself into, dudette!
  5. Playing as the many characters of Fire Emblem sounds awesome. As is watching generic Archers/Mages beat each other to death.
  6. The cycle starts anew, its captives left with no choice but to fight again. When will our happily ever after come?
  7. Yes, but only if it pairs Ike and Soren. Because fork royalty, Ike has a best friend in Soren. Or they can not use Tellius, and have a FE2 anime. That'd be awesome.
  8. Woohoo! Go get 'em, General Horace!
  9. What FF characters were in the first, anyway? I know Yuffie, Tidus, Cloud, and Squall were in, but I don't recall the others, and I know there were others.
  10. I mean, if the protagonist could be a not-so Lawful Good, I can deal with that. Jerk with a Heart of Gold can also apply.
  11. Huh, so splicing is beginning to develop. Wasn't there a FE9/10 splicer? Well, now there's a FE13 splicer. Blaze the trail, dude.
  12. Darn. Well, at least there'll be other characters... right?
  13. I can definitely agree with the rest of the post, but a lot of ATs? Hell no. Let's see... Shorthopping, also known as small jumping to Smash 4 plebians, is a relatively basic technique, but requires a somewhat precise timing. Fastfalling, boosting the rate at which a character gets down back onto the ground substantially. Directional Influence, which simultaneously makes and breaks Melee's combos. A simple mechanic, but it is an essential part of surviving at high percents and combos. Teching, yet another basic, but crucial, mechanic. L-Cancelling decreases the landing lag of aerials, which allows one to act much quicker and prolong combos even longer. SHFFL, combining a shorthop, a fastfall, and an L-Cancelled aerial for maximum efficiency. Wavelanding, which involves simply airdodging onto the ground after a jump. This can be used for a smoother landing, or a way to drag one's hurtbox away from attacks. Wavedashing, an extremely complicated case of airdodging towards the ground right when a character's jumpsquat, the frames between the input of a jump and the actual jump, ends. It allows for characters to constantly be mobile, while having most of their options. DACUS, or dash attack-cancelled up smash, utilizes the momentum gained by a dash attack while doing an up smash. Planking and Ledge Aerials, which merely abuse the invincibility frames from grabbing a ledge. ... There's a lot more that I likely didn't cover, but it's late right now, and I don't post well when I'm half-asleep.
  14. Well, I was simply saying that so I didn't have to waste my time explaining why Fox was not the only character used. Do people honestly think 20XX will happen? ... At least you don't. Thanks for the reassurance. But Melee is fast? I guess I should be taking it easy, then. And play some Smash 4, when I should be playing EOIII. And might you mention what this barrier of entry is? Anybody is able to play Melee, if they are capable of using a Gamecube controller. There's no real difference between that, and a newbie playing Smash 4 for the first time. For that matter, anybody can join a tournament, though they may not get far in it. There's no bloody barrier of entry, unless you're referring to the sort that involves beating the top guys, and the people able to go against them on equal footing. EDIT: I was referring to those who said that FE was ruined or some foolish claim like that, not those who simply said that they were uneased or unsure about the future of FE.
  15. Why do people not like Melee? Please, all of you tell me, preferably without that ignorant whining of "the only character used is Fox". In any case... Fire Emblem is not ruined, so shut your whiny little mouths, elitists. Self-inserts are quite hit-or-miss. Fanservice in a game is to be expected. After all, a company requires money to sustain itself, and money does not grow on trees. No, it comes from the wallet of some otaku shmuck or another.
  16. So is Tiki. And Nowi, for that matter. Xane and Gotoh are also manaketes, but they don't shapeshift into dragons, so...
  17. Wait, shouldn't it be Stahl!Yarne for Shinderella's Morgan? And the third slot of Team Horace is missing a parent, despite being a child character.
  18. The cycle starts anew, its captives left with no choice but to fight again. In a fit of sanity, Fate allows others to take our suffering. Death cheers in joy at the prospect of slaughter.
  19. It's definitely something to consider, though. With subclassing, I can expand the options that my team has. For example, having my Princess sub Monkey lets me have a heal if she's not at full health, and also have access to reviving skills. Still haven't planned out my subclasses, though... Anyway, currently grinding up for the rest of my other units. 3% EXP is just not cool...
  20. AaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! You're back! Welcome back, Dapperlace, daughter of Pirate Dunban! Arrr... How are you?
  21. OKAY, so... it's kinda clear that I really need help in EO3, because I do not know a thing about good builds. Party is Lv5, no rests. [spoiler=The Crew]Buccaneer Trickster Lv1 Rapier Mastery Lv3 Chop Lv1 Bandage Lv1 Hoplite Guardian Lv1 Shield Mastery Lv3 Provoke Lv1 Mine Lv1 Arbalist Giant Kill Lv1 Bolt Mastery Lv2 Proper Form Lv1 Snipe Lv1 Princess Royal Veil Lv3 Nobility Proof Lv2 Attack Order Lv1 Zodiac Ice Mastery Lv1 Volt Mastery Lv1 Ice Star Lv2 Volt Star Lv1 TP Up Lv1 Some questions: How conservative of my TP should I be? How bad is my team? What degree of grinding should I do?
