  1. Found another error in the bond unit listings: http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/hoshidan-characters/bond-units/ http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/nohrian-characters/bond-units/ The female of Birthright-Conquest pair 3 (the one with Strength +2 for a personal skill) is listed as having "Ibuku" for her default name. I've recently gotten this bond unit myself, and her default name is actually "Ibuki". Given that I always accept the defaults, this has to be an error I unwillingly copied over to the wiki page (and this time decided to fix it ASAP)...
  2. http://serenesforest.net/blazing-sword/characters/boss-data/hard-mode/equipment/ Gotta call b******* on a few entries on this one, but I'll start with Uhai in particular. Uhai certainly does not use, much less drop, a Rienfleche in chapter 18 Eliwood/19 Hector in the Hard modes (proof; timecode jumps to Uhai's inventory, video is of a Hector Hard playthrough). FE7 doesn't give access to S-rank weapons that early in the game. (What did chapter 18 Eliwood/19 Hector look like to whoever whipped up that list, an FE6 sidequest chapter?) In fact, the corresponding stats page suggests that, if the Rienfleche-in-first-appearance bit were true, Uhai would be way too easy in the hard modes since Uhai is stated to have only an A rank in bows in his first appearance. Knowing full well of this b*******, I certanly didn't copy it over when writing up Uhai's article over on the wiki...
  3. http://serenesforest.net/blazing-sword/characters/boss-data/hard-mode/equipment/ Under Fargus: What the hell is a "Jiller Axe"? OK, so I know it's a misspelling, it should be "Killer Axe" (hence I didn't copy it over to the wiki when writing up Fargus's article there)...
  4. Anyone know what the statistical data for the Myrmidon class that appears in Hidden Truths 1 is? I kind of need this data for the wiki: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Myrmidon About the only things I could figure out is that max HP is 40 (feeding Owain the Seraph Robe), and that Owain initially caps his Speed at 25 combining the max Speed figure with his modifier (of course, we have to assume Anankos has the power to change his modifiers, keeping in mind that HP caps aren't affected by the modifiers--whether or not he actually does so, we don't know). And before anyone tells me to just assume they're the same as the Samurai's, that's like assuming the Pegasus Knight (promotional DLC Minerva) is identical to the Sky Knight, or the Cleric (Before Awakening Lissa) is identical to the Shrine Maiden--which both of those assumptions are known false. (Case in point from what I've observed myself: If Owain's modifiers are the same in Hidden Truths 1 as in his Odin form, that would put the Myrmidon Speed cap at 26, since Odin's Speed modifier is -1. The Samurai Speed cap is 25.)
  5. http://serenesforest.net/blazing-sword/scripts/game-script/eliwoods-story/chapter-13x-the-peddler-merlinus/ Simply redirects to the script for Hector's tale's version of the chapter, which is not identical to Eliwood's tale (I verified this by watching abdallahsmash026's video of Eliwood's tale, while trying to write Puzon's article for the wiki)...
  6. Ran into something concerning bond unit skills. The listings here: http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/nohrian-characters/bond-units/ http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/revelation/bond-units/ states that the bond unit Sage gets Better Odds for his skill, yet a Sage I've gotten has Odd Shaped instead. Odd Shaped isn't even on the site's bond unit listing as being possible for a unit to have. I initially and unwillingly copied this error over when building the wiki's page for the concept; hopefully this error can be corrected here as well. (Wiki page: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Bond_units . Since I've now gotten multiple Sages with Odd Shaped to confirm this, I've corrected the wiki page.) Every other bond unit I've gotten has been in line with the listings, so I suspect this might be an error...
  7. http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/my-castle/buildings/ Under Terrain, the Nohrian Glade lists (Nohr/Invisible onlu) where it should presumably list (Conquest/Revelation only)...
  8. Wondering if anyone can help me with some data for at least one DLC class not currently documented here? Specifically, the Myrmidon class as used by Owain in Hidden Truths 1. I came across this due to a user called Breakin' Benny on the wiki adding "special class" promotion boxes--and only promotion boxes--to these articles claiming the existence of both Myrmidon and a different variation of Mercenary for use in the DLC chapter in question: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Myrmidon http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Mercenary The user in question cites the existence of both classes--especially the alleged alternate Mercenary variant--on the Cleric class for NPC DLC Lissa in the Before Awakening chapter. The user has also since added tabs on the pages for Owain, Inigo, and Severa for their setups in the DLC chapter, but those edits are far less disagreeable (they're incomplete, yes, but precedent for these does exist elsewhere on the wiki). I've also personally made further edits to the Myrmidon class's article to include a skeleton setup for the Fates version of the class (since any video that replicates the bottom screen can prove its existence, due to vanilla Fates not using a Myrmidon class), but not the one for the Mercenary (since that class exists in vanilla Fates, the vanilla version could be in use for Inigo and Severa in Hidden Truths 1--much like nobody, not even Breakin' Benny, claims the existence of an alternate Great Knight for NPC DLC Frederick in Before Awakening). If anyone can extract the necessary data for me, that would be great...
  9. Even if patching in Japanese audio is possible from a technical standpoint (witness the recent Yo-Kai Watch North American version patch--it added options for Spanish and French), I don't see this petition working due to licensing issues...
  10. Last I checked, the wiki also stated Yukimura is Birthright-only: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Yukimura Unless this is a detail that got changed in the localization, I don't think the site's wrong about this...
  11. Amen. It was a scrappy mechanic back when it was called Pokémon Amie, and it pretty much deserved to go die in a fire then...
  12. Hold on, last I checked, the class trees for the system as mentioned on the wiki were on the characters' Supports pages, as such: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Niles/Supports (first-generation example) http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Nina/Supports (second-generation example) ...and they were described in a full, visible sentence at the top of each section in question...
  13. Belka? What the hell? Last I checked, there was no character of this exact name in the game. There's one close--Berka--but certainly no Belka...
  14. Well, I highly doubt the Japanese version (much less international) would use the name "Master Lord", given that the Japanese version of Fates already has Lucina using that class name... (If you don't believe me, keep in mind that http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Master_Lord on the wiki is merely a redirect to the Great Lord article, and also that the up-to-date fan translation patch for FE6 uses "Great Lord" for Roy as well...)
  15. ...Well, after quite a bit of backbreaking work, I've finally managed to get every single Fates character support page on the wiki: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Category:Supports_in_Fire_Emblem_Fates Granted, actual conversations are going to wait until the international release, but what the pages do provide include the seal class (or any lack thereof), as well as growth rates for non-default non-DLC classes for the first-generation characters. Hopefully I got as much as I can right on the first try...
  16. On this page: http://serenesforest.net/awakening/miscellaneous/dlc-conversations/ Vaike's row under "Scramble Pack" is formatted quite wrongly. Somehow, his Harvest Scramble and Summer Scramble conversation columns got merged into one column under Harvest Scramble, and his Hot-Spring Scramble column somehow ended up under Summer Scramble, with blank space where his Hot-Spring Scramble column should be...
  17. It's more the tone of the reasoning that rattled me. "More accurate" or "highly inaccurate" isn't bad reasoning in and of itself, but the delivery can make the difference...
  18. I would. From what I've observed, normal S-rank weapons either don't affect the wielder's stats beyond what that weapon type normally would (i.e. Aurgelmir, Hagakure), or actually nerf some of the wielder's stats (i.e. Excalibur, Oboro, Zanshin). (Can't really apply the system to Bifrost, as staves have only been truly equippable in the same sense as a weapon in Radiant Dawn.) If the Suisha really did offer a giant defensive buff, it would be quite overpowered (the drawback of halved strength would be chump change)... Now that would be quite interesting, especially given how magic weapons have worked in past games... (Interestingly, Wind Summon is the only strictly non-healing baton whose common name someone important on the wiki's staff hasn't utterly rejected as being "we must not use it because Serenes Forest invented it" despite the affiliation between the two sites--Vanished Disaster in particular was noted as being an inaccurate misinterpreation, and given Misfortune and Sin was given "same reason as the other one", odds are the important guy also saw that one as an inaccurate misinterpretation as well; if an affiliated wiki has been given reason not to use those names, rival wikis certainly don't have any reason to use those names either. The hybrid baton was also given an "accurate translation" by the important guy, but this case isn't nearly as drastic...)
  19. Is it an inventory item that works in a similar manner as the Bond Emblem does, or is it along the lines of something from the Accessory Shop and thus a My Castle element?
  20. Last I checked, isn't it the Lancer that's the parallel to the Soldier of other games? http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Lancer http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Lance_Fighter
  21. ...Another inquiry related to stringed weapons incoming. The Wordpress page I'm using to enhance the wiki articles lists a "Divine Bow" for Invisible Kingdom chapter 26 that I can't make heads or tails of what it's supposed to be. There's no match in CocoaGalaxy's document (the I26 under bows in that document fits the "Strong Bow" on the Wordpress page). I'm not sure whether the "Divine Bow" is supposed to be the Blessed Bow, the Shining Bow, or maybe even the Mirror Yumi (given the Wordpress site seems to like calling yumi bows), and I could have made three wrong guesses... Also, for Invisible Kingdom chapter 24, is the Wordpress site trying to pull a fast one on me with their "Critical Bow" listing? The term highly implies it means the Killer Bow, but CocoaGalaxy's document implies it might be the Certain Yumi--which I would not label good at criticals as one of its qualities...
  22. The problem with a Christmas-themed scramble is how to make it acceptable globally. Given that we've already had a winter-themed scramble in Awakening's Hot Spring Scramble, as well as a summer-themed scramble in Awakening's Summer Scramble (come on, even late elementary schoolers know Christmas is a summer holiday in the southern hemisphere!), odds are a Christmas-themed scramble would have to take place completely indoors to avoid alienating certain geographical areas...
  23. ...Got another inquiry involving the Wordpress site mentioned back at the "Water Wheel" query (and yes, I'm still trying to enhance the wiki with information from there)... Under four consecutive chapters starting at Invisible Kingdom chapter 16, there's mention of a Revive staff. Now, since Bifrost is a regalia, we know it can't be that. Given that they referred to Physic as "Reflow" in a few areas, and given that the staff in question is assumed to be common enough to avoid mention in CocoaGalaxy's document, I would have straight up assumed "Revive" was Mend--except that the Wordpress site used Mend in listings for Invisible Kingdom chapter 13. Is "Revive" indeed Wordpress trying to fool me into thinking dropped Mends are rarer than they are, or is "Revive" actually something else? (If you're thinking how I managed to get Physic out of "Reflow" and suspect Mend out of "Revive", try looking at the Serenes staff listing for Genealogy of the Holy War and look for similarities...) EDIT: Sorry to have to add on to the inquiry, but I've noticed that the Wordpress site has a penchant for referring to yumis as bows; the only time "yumi" appears on the page is "Skillful Yumi" under Nohr chapter 26. This can certainly cause confusion when referring to any of the basic set. I've taken listings of the basic set at face value (i.e. assumed them to be bows, not yumi), but now I'm not so sure: I've got suspicions about the Steel Bow listing, especially Hoshido chapter 23 (hello, bows are Nohrian!) and Invisible Kingdom chapter 19 (hello, Holy Bowmen actually wield yumis?!); I've also got suspicions about the Silver Bow listing, especially Hoshido chapter 21 (same reason as the steel in Hoshido 23) and Invisible Kingdom chapter 23 (same reason as the steel in Invisible Kingdom chapter 19). (The Iron Bow listing, not so much...)
  24. How sure are you about this? I've always had doubts about what the Serenes lance listing ( http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/inventory/lances/ ) states (Cannot double attack, ability to double attack -5); if your plus is indeed correct, it'll take just a simple adjustment to bring the wiki page ( http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Pieri%27s_Little-lance ) in line with this effect...
  25. S***, turns out I'd made the wrong call when writing up Zero's supports page on the wiki: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Zero/Supports&diff=71278&oldid=70757 (It's the only supports page the wiki currently has for a Fates character, although I plan to make more of these a dedicated project somewhere down the line.) It's corrected now, thankfully...
