  1. Finally found a place with some more detailed item locations (got names for the paralogue chapters there as well; it's the same place Moydow used to nab names for the main paths' chapters), and am currently using it to enhance item articles on the wiki, specifically some of the item locations (but, apart from most regaila, not with enough confidence to remove the "may be incomplete" listings). Some cross-checking against one of CocoaGalaxy's documents has helped clear up some things, but not enough to completely avoid inquiries... While enhancing the Suisha's article, under Invisible Kingdom Chapter 20, the Wordpress site has a weird listing of something called the "Water Wheel". No clue what it is (none of the item listings here at Serenes lists anything close, not even among the crazier of the kunai), and CocoaGalaxy's hinting toward the Suisha being in that chapter has no apparent match on the Wordpress site...
  2. Yeah, and even in an Awakening context you're wrong. Both SpotPass and DLC versions of Celica are distributed as Sages.
  3. Maybe you didn't put in an inquiry about the matter because I did? An inquiry so old it dates back to when it was thought Yato completely negated Dragonskin...
  4. No, I'm not. I'm referring to the Pegasus Knight class, the one associated with Minerva via the Cipher promotion.
  5. And if there is, I'm pretty sure the star class-change item will be for Pegasus Knights, and be the logical female-exclusive counterpart to the one we just got for the Vanguard. And since Pegasus Knight is the one DLC-related playable class where the wiki hasn't yet compiled growths for the Avatar (yes, the wiki compiled Vanguard growths long before the Vanguard Emblem was even formally hinted toward): http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Avatar_(Fates)/Stats#Non-regional_classes(the Vanguard tab's been there since the section was de-sectstubbed, but note no Pegasus Knight tab)
  6. What, no translation for this map's name? The wiki really could use one... Actually, earning 1 HP per enemy defeated would be a pretty quick way to raise a unit's overall health. Of course, last I checked, only FE4 gave out permanent stat boosts for tasks other than using stat-boosting items, raising levels, or promoting...
  7. I have a sneaking suspicion that the page for normal Radiant Dawn death quotes: http://serenesforest.net/radiant-dawn/scripts/game-script/miscellaneous/death-quotes/regular/ ...may have a few quotes on it that actually belong on: http://serenesforest.net/radiant-dawn/scripts/game-script/miscellaneous/escape-quotes/ I got this sneaking suspicion when going about improving the wiki's entry for Calill: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Calill I initially read Calill's listing on the death quote page as a single two-line quote and noted that the second "half" more resembled an escape quote. This made me doubt the similar approach I took when enhancing Caineghis's article: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Caineghis#Death_quote At the time I was enhancing Caineghis's article, I didn't think twice about thinking it as a single two-line death quote, but now that I've run into Calill's predicament, I'm not so sure about the approach I took on Caineghis anymore. For Calill, I've went ahead and put down the first "half" of her listing as a death quote and the second "half" as an escape quote as it appeared to be; I've left my suspicious initial approach on Caineghis's article for now as comparison. Is it possible we could get clarifications on what even are death quotes and, for those that are true death quotes, possibly further clarification about the situations they're death quotes in?
  8. Where was it implied that the Awakening Avatar is canonically male? Given that giving an Avatar character a canonical gender would pretty much defeat the purpose of even including an Avatar system in the game in question to begin with... Anyway, I really don't see why they'd make the amiibo content available by alternate means. Given how it's basically on-cartridge paid DLC as it is, Nintendo's probably desperate to try to make any profits they can off their doomed amiibo line...
  9. In the Awakening support boosting quotes (Awakening -> Scripts -> Main Story -> Event tiles/Barracks), under Nah -> Child/Parent -> Gift - Answer (to father), the listed answer is the same as the Gift - Question (to father) line. You think that can be fixed? I've went ahead and taken down the correct quote for that situation for the wiki, you can find it there: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Nah#Quotes_specifically_with_her_father , third from bottom in the section...
  10. ...Whoa, whoa, whoa. First off, last I checked, there's no sword by the name "Yato no kami" in this game. There's a weapon with a close name, known as "Yatōgami" in Japanese (and "Yato" internationally), but it's a katana, not a sword... (If you don't believe me, try looking up the wiki: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Name_chart/Fire_Emblem_Fates#Regalia_and_personal_weapons http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Yato )
  11. The stated limit of 32 GB is actually due to the 3DS platform needing SD cards to be formatted in FAT32. Larger-capacity cards are not formatted in FAT32 by default, but if reformatted into FAT32, can be accepted by the system. I myself use a 64 GB card in my original-model 3DS without problem once the card was redone as FAT32...
  12. Last I checked, the wiki listed "Unknown" under recruitment: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Anna#Starting_stats_and_growth_rates_2 Given the information that's been datamined, it's a safe assumption that there is indeed eventually intended to be a playable Anna...
  13. Well, finally got the wiki pages for the standard playable characters all ready ( http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Nyxbeing the last one). Needed some help from AstraSage for a number of child character class sets, and CocoaGalaxy for VA data... However, I've run into quite the big obstacle keeping me from being ready to whip up wiki articles for the capturable bosses. I've found all of the essential data within the Serenes listings except for base stat listings. Given that the base stats are the first thing one sees in a wiki page's "Starting stats and growth rates" section (base stats are the default tab), I really don't think I can go about writing up pages for capturable bosses without base stat data. Is there anywhere I can easily pick up base stat data for the capturable bosses?
  14. Gerome...Let's give him the alter-ego of Reid, and give Minerva the alter-ego of Argent. Main tree would be Wyvern Rider, and his secondary would be Priest...
  15. Well, the Serenes site description specifically lists Golems as being affected by Puppet Breaker while not listing Faceless; keep in mind that Faceless is just as much a monster class as Golems are. This got reflected onto the wiki page for the skill as well: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Puppet_Break Now, these listings could still be specifically be referring to only the monster Puppets (yes, Othin, your quote hasn't been outright debunked by this breakdown)... The specificality of how Puppet Break is listed is similar to how Effective Medicine and Household Cure specifically mention both potion- (i.e. Vulnerary) and tonic-type (i.e. HP Tonic) items, while Witch's Cauldron specifically mentions potion-type items only, even though I've seen one person mention a tie-in of tonic-type items to Witch's Cauldron as well that I haven't believed due to the specificality of the Serenes site listings...
  16. http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Skill_Drain Considering Lodestars get Speed Drain at level 35 and Vanguards get Strength Drain at the same level, the assumption of a hypothetical amiibo-unlocked Roy having Skill Drain isn't outlandish. Then again, we can't assume the Roy amiibo will even unlock anything without the game needing a patch (nothing was found in the vanilla game related to the Roy amiibo)--and since the whole amiibo line'll probably be dead and buried after the release of the final Smash Bros. series, we can't assume there'll even be a patch to make the Roy amiibo compatible...
  17. Raw numbers aren't everything, but if Awakening DLC was any indication: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Smash_Brethren_1#Chapter_data ...New Zealand has pretty much the rest of the anglosphere beat when it comes to raw numbers. (Given that the North American website only lists the price in American dollars, the European website only lists in euros and pounds, and the Australian website only lists in Aussie dollars and Kiwi dollars, it's no surprise info is scarce on prices in other currencies--Mexican pesos or Swiss francs, for instance...)
  18. As if the Japanese version didn't already include what's basically on-cart paid DLC in form of the amiibo unlockables? Putting in-game content behind a doomed toyline, that's a desperate move to try to turn around said toyline's fortunes but bound to backfire spectacularly...
  19. When trying to write wiki articles for a few Gaiden characters (specifically, those part of the game's SpotPass set in Awakening), I noticed that these two pages: http://serenesforest.net/gaiden/scripts/script-translation/ending/ http://serenesforest.net/gaiden/scripts/script-translation/death-quotes/ ...are identical. The content definitely fits the former link, but clearly not the latter...
  20. Hopefully the goofs are actually where I think they are this time around... In the case of Fates, Base Stats-Other Data for both the Hoshido and neutral routes ( http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/hoshidan-characters/other-data/, http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/invisible-kingdom/character-data/ ), Gurei is listed as having an initial weapon rank of Katana D. Problem is, last I checked, Gurei's initial class is Ninja--and last I checked, aren't Ninjas shuriken wielders? As far as Gurei's wiki page goes ( http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Gurei), I've reflected Gurei's initial weapon rank as what I believe to be the correct Shuriken D, and I hope the Other Data listing on the site can be similarly fixed...
  21. Interesting observations. And, of course, they've been reflected onto the wiki: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Dread_Scroll http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Dark_Falcon_Wing Wonder what I'll be able to reflect onto the ( http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Fellblood_Emblem) and ( http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/First_Dragon_Blood ) wiki pages two weeks from now? And if anyone actually ever gives enough of a damn about what the ( http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Small_Stone ) does enough to help me improve its wiki page?...
  22. So I guessed wrong...The wiki page has been fixed. If only the Serenes character default class set listings included the children, I wouldn't have to make inquiries like this...
  23. Got another inquiry concerning a child character's class trees, I'm afraid. This time, it's Midoriko. Her wiki article's been written: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Midoriko ...however, I had to guess as to her secondary class tree, given Kaze doesn't have Herb Merchant access by default. I guessed Samurai since Ninja has an overlap with Herb Merchant in a promoted class, and the general trends I've seen are to avoid promoted class overlap, but the question is, did I guess right?
  24. The one in post 404, perhaps? If only there was more known out there about enemy drops and chest contents (there's no Fates item locations listing on Serenes as of yet), then maybe we could improve the wiki's item pages to the point where we can start removing all the "this list may be incomplete" tags on pages such as: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Expert_Yumi#Locations ...and sect-stub templates on pages such as: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Hard_Bread#Locations ...and get the wiki's item pages up to the level of functionality they deserve! (An example, using an Awakening item, on how item drops and treasure--both chests and villages alike--are listed on a wiki page: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Second_Seal#Locations )
  25. I'm wondering just how Kanna's default secondary class (i.e. the one that's not Nohr Prince/Nohr Princess) works. I need to know this if I hope to give Kanna an article on the wiki. Is it as simple as it being the same as the one the Avatar gets, similar to some other children characters who already have articles on the wiki? (Example: http://www.fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Eponine) Or is there something far more complex at work?
