  1. My team was Lucius, Elincia, B!Sanaki and Hoshidan!Micaiah early this morning. I got a few orbs, did a full pull on the banner and got both Pent and Fjörm! Once Lucius reached 5K HM I switched to Fjörm, Pent, Louise and Micaiah. Pent and Louise already have A support, oh and I also am at 15K so I merged Louise right away for +1! I just meed more stones to upgrade her bow to +Spd.

    Yeah BKs map was horrible, glad I somehow made it. Btw, in regards to your previous coment about the fodder I used, the only premium skill I have is Steady Stance 4 from a second Surtr I got on his banner, Steady Posture is fairly accessible nowadays with Reyson and Thea.

    @Anacybele I think Map 3 can be doable with an armored team of Amelia, Henry, Kagero and Lucas. Make sure ti have Swap on them or something. The idea is to have Kagero one round Sonia, swapping her with Amelia to tank Clive or just let her tank him, have Henry counter Bruno and kill him then swap with Lukas to block Grey, Tobin and Mathilda. The rest is cleaning them up. If Tobin's killing Lukas then try with Shiro.

    For Map 2 you might try a full flier team, have Hinoka kill the peg, then dance with Azura and go back. Imo, bring Tibarn to delete Sonya and chip Leon. This map is harder to clear. But Airzura is better here than on Map 1, for Map 1 use Lene.

  3. The point of a guide is not only about following it step by step but also about trying to replicate it with other units.

    For instance, Map 1 requires a bulky blue unit to tank almost everyone, you can use a refined Oboro, Lukas, Shiro, Nephenee, Nowi, etc. Try adding a dancer, a healer or a WoM unit to play with positioning.

    Map 2 is the hardest imo, and requires hit and run tactics, try it with cavs or fliers with Flier Formation. You can use Reinhardt, Veronica or some other ranged cavalier.

    Map 3 you can counter kill Bruno with F!Robin and Gronnwolf perfectly, have a red mage counter kill Sonya and some blue unit on the fort tile to tank Tobin, Grey and Mathilda.

    Serious changes need to be implemented in the future to prevent crap like this. I suggest:

    - No turn limits
    - No ridiculous stat inflation (not saying there shouldn't be any, there can be some. Just not a lot)
    - More limited enemy reinforcements should there be any
    - Don't have the enemy start with five or six units. Players can only deploy four at a time, so why are the enemies allowed more? An alternate idea is to allow players to deploy more than four.
    - Let us lose units. Very few modes allow us to use Light's Blessings, so there's not much point in them right now anyway.

    Ana they're pretty doable, you just need to have the right units to check enemies and watch out for the turn limit. I cleared it weeks ago and I'm totally not a whale nor I have fully merged teams. The only +10 unit I have is Linus and I haven't used him in a single Blessed Garden map. Check my clear just if you want some guide.

    Mordecai choke points the center of the map blocking and tanking everyone with his Atk/Def link, and Ignis one shotting Tobin on a counter hit. Ryoma goes left and breaks the wall, then Shigure swaps him to tank Gray. Mordecai finally Ignis Clive, then is danced and hits the archer. The archer moves left and is then doubled by Shigure on the final turn, Mordecai with -1 cd kills him, gets danced and Ignis kills Mathilda.

    Map 2 - Fjörm (NY, Aerobatics 3 Seal), Veronica (cav), Ursula (+1), Azura (L.Hero)

    Veronica attacks Leon, gets draw backed by Ursula, Ursula gets repositioned by Fjörm, Azura sings Urula, Ursula draws back Veronica. On EP, Sonia breaks wall and Leon suicides on Veronica. PP2, Fjörm aerobatics on Ursula and one shots the lance peg, Ursula draws her back, Azura sings Ursula and she doubles Saber (swordbreaker) while Veronica escapes. On EP the red cav dies on Ursula and Saber and Sonia move forward. On the next turn, Veronica kills Saber, Fjörm moves, gets sung and doubles Sonia.

    Map 3 - Sharena (Steady Stance 4, Close Def 3 seal), Fjörm, Olwen (green cav), Lyn (Brave)

    Olwen one rounds Bruno with Hone cav support, Fjörm swaps Sharena and she repositions Olwen, Lyn moves to Sonia's range to counter kill her. The rest of the enemies move forward. Sharena choke points on fort tile recieving 0 dmg and tanking Tobin, Gray and Clive while the rest of my team regroups on the bottom of the map. Next turn Olwen deletes Clive and Lyn Dragon Fangs Tobin killing him, leaving only Mathilda and Gray. Sharena stays on her tile and Fjörm moves next to her to block Mathilda. Sharena Bonfires Gray leaving him with little hp, same goes for Mathilda who gets Riposted by Fjörm. My ranged cavs end their lives.

    You got me there (as focus rates haven't changed at all)! But I meant my chances, my luck. It's been terrible for like a year and a half that ultimately I barely even get to summon focus heroes. I didn't get a single hero from the first laguz banner, I got Reyson and Leanne as off focus summons (4 and 5☆), didn't get Yune, didn't get Alm, haven't gotten any fallen hero. It sucks. I wanted Caineghis and Ranulf and ended up getting Lethe and Mordecai, not bad but you know~

    I got all the rewards and have coins to enhance a seal up to level 3, but I'll wait for TT to see what seals they bring.

    On the contrary I got almost all of them. I recall getting Ninian, Lucius and Priscilla, and just before the end of the banner I got Karel. As off focus I got Jaffar twice and a 4☆ Rebecca. Of all of them, I kept Ninian, Lucius and Priscilla, the rest were used as fodder or feathers.

    The only thing I miss from those days were the higher chances of getting focus units. The banners I got all of the focus units were Blazing Shadows and Celica's Army. Those were glorious moments to me.

    That didn't stop them from adding Rebecca on its first year of release instead of Marcus or Oswin, who are arguably more important/popular.

    @Interdimensional Observer Idk, IS is mostly dumb, add to that that appealing to all players' tastes is difficult, but overall I think they're trying to do their best :Nino:. They can't boost each title's cast uniformly because:

    1. Favorites may be eventually missed or delayed to be added

    2. At first glance you'll have every game's lords + retainers and one or two villains

    3. They need to adapt to each year's events to push new releases to higher levels. I think this is the most important part, the consecutive Valentian banners and TT were amazing, imo, and the Warrior's special maps added some good bases for nowadays content. Next semestre will be plagued of Three Houses content, probably banners of Byleth and the nobles, some TT, GHB, Forging Bonds and then banners for each House.

    For this banner I'll go blue->colorless->red crossing fingers for Pent, all my orbs will go for this banner, I'm sick of stupid Legendary Banners that I get screwed with up to 10 and 12 pity rate.

    Good point. I do hope they eventually get their original character into the game.

    Also, what's with the Tellius bias/fatigue people are bringing up? Is it because of the laguz banners, valentine tellius and Haar's GHB? Tellius has a vast cast of characters, diverse races and units that merit all these additions and more (DB, Goldoans, etc.)

    I actually never really thought about units like Frederick potentially using Galeforce. My Frederick partially relies on his Ignis damage tho... Should I really even think about THREE Galeforce teams though? That's a lot of feathers too given that you have to upgrade Cordelias to fodder if you don't have spare Brave Roys or whatever.

    1. Caeda and Clair get Flashing Blade on her weapon's unique refinement.

    2. Uhh, those teams were the ones I used to clear the blessed gardens set. Whoops

  10. @Anacybele That's a cool team you got there! As some input, Cordelia wants LnD right away, same for Roy. For C skill I'd rather opt for Goad Flier or a double tactics setup.

    An option for a Flashing Blade unit is Clair and her Rhompaia refine, you may opt for a +Spd one and cross fingers for some Swift Sparrow fodder and give her either Iceberg/Galeforce for quick procs. She also helps a lot against Idouns or Myrhhs that stall on Arena/Ather Raids. Similarly, Caeda with Wing Sword refine can get rid of Robins, Surtrs and Hectors which are annoying. I'd say build both because they check different threats and add versatility to your team setup.

    As a fourth member I'd run L!Hector with Fire Blessings to boost your unit's atk and decrease their Special cd by 4 and guarantee 1 turn Galeforce on Cherche, at least.

    Now onto the blessed gardens penultimate set.

    Map 1 - NY!Laevatein, Camus (goad), E!Chrom (hone), Frederick (hone)

    Chrom repositions Fred and he moves to the bottom left corner to lure Oscar, the rest group below the thicket. Enemies approach and the mage moves to the left. Fred moves back away from the mage's range and Oscar dies on him, Camus tanks Elincia and the rest move down. Then the cavs move to the bottom right as Fred kills Elincia and tanks the axe peg and Nephenee. Then, Fred kills Neph with Laevatein, Chrom kills the peg and Camus one rounds the mage.

    Map 2 - Sigurd, Sylvia, Reinhardt, LA!Hector

    Rein one rounds BK, Sylvia dances and he Draws her back to the right, Sigurd repos Hector and enters Bruno's attack range. Hector kills Bruno, Rein deletes Elincia, Sylvia dances him and they escape with Sigurd repositioning the dancer. Next turn, Rein kills Oscar, Sylvia dances, he runs away, Sigurd repos Sylvia and Hector tanks Ike. Rein hits him and Sigurd finishes him off.

    Map 3 - Cherche, Aversa, Camilla, S!Camilla

    Honed Aversa one rounds the melon crusher dracoknight, Cherche draws her back and Camilla (goad) stays close. On EP, Aversa eats a death blow from enemy Camilla and counter Glimmer kills her. Next turn, Cherche one rounds Linde, we wait for the archer and then gang on him.

I made very surprising progress on these, probably thanks to wind legendary heroes being consistently excellent units. Now I dunno what to do with my wind blessed heroes. I really could not give a damn about optimizing teams for the PvP modes, instead relying on bonus units. Bonus units don't stop being uber on the wrong week of the month, nor do they require a premium resource. I liked Blessed Gardens because they provide a PvE application for Blessings. It's sad to see them go since, like the GHB Elite Quests, they could be a fun challenge to grind out with good rewards and without any restrictive time limits. I actually expected them to announce Blessed Gardens for the four new elements, but what I got was a cancellation. And now there is nothing but turning in F2P solutions for limited time only maps.     Same how I feel, I expected Mythic Blessings rotations or something. I strategized on who deserved the blessings: I counted what units needed them, a sword infantry focused on atk/def or a sword infantry focused on res? And so on. Now I just give them blessings based in their affinity on their respective games, for instance, Fir got fire, Klein got water, Micaiah/Soren/Naesala got Dark, Elincia/Lethe got Astra, Lyn got wind, Florina/Lucius/Lilina got light, and so on.

    I'd say Delthea because she is the cheaper and more versatile option. Death gives her sort of a spectrum blow/stance effect and you could give her Darting Blow seal to make her a more potent player phase unit combined with Death Blow and Even Atk Wave. For B skill she'd love Mystic Boost from a spare Eir, but Desperation is a pretty nice option for her.

    Tailtiu is great as well but you'd need to refine her weapon and SI to reach Ishtar levels. I currently have both and love them, their pretty much the same thing but Tailtiu's innate Wrath gives her a plus imo.

  13. So today's Grounds map was... ugh... horrible. I tried a lot of times until I managed to clear this set of maps.

    Map 1 - Spring!Sharena, Clair, L!Lyn, B!Hector (even def seal 3)

    I just wait for the enemies to move down while Bruno, the archer and the mage group and move through the right. Hector deletes the Zanbato fighter, Lyn one rounds the green mage. In the enemy phase, Bruno suicides on Hector and the archer engages him as well, both surviving combat. Next phase Lyn desperation kills the archer, Sharena repositions Hector and he deletes the red mage.

    Map 2 - Gunnthrá, Lene, Lewyn and Ishtar

    Odd'd Ishtar is repositioned by Lewyn, Ishtar deletes the sword knight (Glimmer), she is danced by Lene and one rounds Nephenee, Gunnthrá draws Lene back. Next turn, Ishtar kills Elincia, is repositioned by Lewyn again and Lene tanks the axe pegasus. Next turn, Gunnthrá one rounds the lance pegasus, is danced, doubles the hammer peg and Lewyn finishes it off.

    Map 3 - Ogma+1 (Swift Sparrow 2, Wrath 3, Def Tactics 3), P!Nino+2, (double smoke), Hot Spring!Ryoma and Odin+2 (atk/spd link rfn, double smoke)

    This map was really tough to beat because of positioning, tanking and such, but Aerobatics proofed to be useful here. Ogma tanked the axe peg, then one rounds the ruby sword fighter, next phase he kills the green mage, Nino aerobatics and kills Oscar, then Odin draws Ogma back and Ryoma repos Nino. Next phase Odin hits the slaying swd fighter on the right blocked by the forest tile, Ogma repos him to tank the slaying glacies axe peg. By next phase the silver lance cav moves with the firesweep archer, BK approaches. Nino kills the silver lance cav, Ryoma repos her, Odin draws her back and Ogma stays 2 tiles away from Ryoma to tank kill the sword fighter and Ryoma Bonfire solos the Brave Sword cav. Next phase Ryoma and Nino team up and kill the archer while the rest stay away from BK.

    Woohoo! I summoned myself. Not really. I summoned the real Kaden from the new fallen heroes banner. Always fun to get an off-focus and off-color unit from a banner. Well, at least I have a wacky buff bot, Selkie's dad, and a 5* from the banner. RIP getting any of the fallen heroes just like last time. I guess they'll show up eventually.

    I also got an off-focus unit and turns to be Leanne! Too bad she is +def, -hp but I'm ok with just pairing her with Nestling! Currently doing Forging Bonds and bumping my feathers for Delthea.
