This is what I think. How many of the siblings you keep alive probably has a minor affect on the endings. Maybe how many gaiden chapters you complete as well. But i can' imagine us having a variety of different endings, sadly.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who laughed at it. It's hard to take that thing seriously. I don't know why but I kind of imagine it's going to float in midair when attacking. I'm really looking forward to seeing it's attack animations and the weapons it uses.

Agreed. I'm not good at making creative characters so being able to see other people's creations might give me some inspiration. Otherwise I'll probably just default avatar like I did in Awakening.

I feel like we're guaranteed to have to face off against the opposing royal siblings paired up. I'm more curious if bosses will try to pair up with their minions or vice versa. BTW is it confirmed Attack Stance results in your partner attacking 100% of the time?

I think it's kind of like they want you to be able to have custom weapons for as many units as you can afford. Kind of jibes with what they said about wanting us to focus more on what kind of weapons to chose. We've already seen a number of characters with special weapon (Rinka's fire axe/mace, Felicia's ice knives, Takumi's light bow & arrows), although who knows if they're character exclusive or just weapons with elemental magic attached. All jokes aside, I think at worst she's just using her sultry outfit to capture the male unit's eyes while playing with her top. More than likely she's just doing some cute poses and seductive talk. I don't really think she'd be asking "where they're looking", let alone talking so much, if she was actually doing something physical with the prisoner. Not to mention all the health, moral, and social consequences of recruiting units with sex.

Yea, I do think they could have been a little less blatant expies but I'll reserve my final judgment until I can see how similar their dialogue is. Owain's speech is so unique I'm kind of worried how they can not make Odin too similar to him in his supports. But I think it's really mixed. I've seen a number of people say "why IS put FE13 characters in Nohr when you're supposed to be appealing to vets? Is it really supposed to be cute? I always thought it was supposed to be comical, in a creepy way. (not just Pieri, but the dual personality trope in general)

Me too, I'm expected Aqua to have some kind of ability to eventually help you master your dragon form. Being the former princess of Nohr, it's also possible she might have the 2nd largest amount of dragonblood which somehow helps her "tame" Dragon Kamui. I don't think it's the first time. I remember one of the early videos shows a dragon holding Aqua while they both plunge underwater, which I believe someone speculated could have been the lake where Kamui and Aqua were seen talking at. And I do think that would explain partial transformations. Either he doesn't trust himself to fully transform or maybe his transforming skills get sealed somehow and he can't.

Thanks for the quick translation. I know this is a late observation, but after seeing Oboro in this trailer I think it confirms Oboro as a female if anyone was still on the fence. Saw that too. Having 3 different versions (the trailer said different maps, stories and characters) AND multiple endings? This game will absolutely swallow my life.

Yea, that's what I'm thinking. I think it's possible she intentionally angered Kamui to make Kamui transform in hopes of getting him to learn how to control his dragon form. Because she doesn't believe Kamui can win the war without accessing his dragon power. Him being afraid to use his transformation also explains why Kamui has dragonstones at lower levels but not on higher levels that we've seen.

I feel a Yeti would need to look more primate-like but it would certainly make it more interesting.

I see a lot of people saying it's a wolf, but I really see more of a Koala Bear-wolf hybrid (If a Koala Bear had the body of an actual bear). I mean look at it's nose!

Considering how harshly mean other FE vets rag on Awakening, it's not surprising the Awakening expies are getting so much hate. I think it's over the top too, but unfortunately not unexpected personally. Still, I agree we should wait to find out more about them before getting so mad. I do sympathize with not understanding why they made expies of popular units from the most recent FE game, but it doesn't upset.

I like it too! When I said weird, I meant it in a good way. I like the cotton candy colors and way all those strand curves. Her crazy hair might be too much for some people, but I think having a crazy haired character is fun. I feel like we're going to be in the minority here, liking her design. I think it's just rage over the inclusion of not 1, but 3 Awakening look-a-likes being in the the game, plus some additional rage by the people who want no reminder of Awakening in Nohr. She's just a victim of being introduced with the other two units who are much more blatant look-a-likes. That being said, the ponytails are designed somewhat similarly to Lissa's, but that's about as far as it goes.

I'm interested in that tree spell Leon used. I wonder if it's connected to the tree roots we see growing on Nohr's castle? It also looked like an AOE attack, although that could just be Cutscene power to the max.... Also, if I didn't love Felicia enough as is, her knives have some type of ice effect.

I actually like that more than Lazward. What if we just drop the "d" and go Lazwar? Sounds like the smooth kind of name a womanizer would have.

That's how I feel. Although I find the pink hair tips weird, I think it's supposed to emphasize her crazy side. It'd be kind of cool if her hair went full pink when she went into Blood Knight mode, but that would probably be too much.

I thought maybe they were in the same area we saw in the intro trailer when dragon Kamui was falling down while holding Aqua.

This video was so awesome I almost regret watching it. Just made the 6 month+ wait that much harder. Am I the only one who sees a giant, angry Koala Bear that happens to have wolf ears? YES! She looks just like Robin!Noire as a sorcerer (which is what my Noire was), except with longer hair in the back. Maybe she intentionally provoked his rage because Kamui was scared to use his dragon side but she knows that they will need him at full power to win the war? Other observations: Poor Suzukaze got attacked twice in the trailer. Apparently the monsters can shoot fire, unless they just randomly switched scenes after showing them. Felicia and Takumi seem to have weapons with magical properties.

Hoping Odin uses one of the past games subtitles for his critical attack line. I doubt I'll use multiple dark mages (unless they're the only non-promoted magic users in Nohr) so Nyx is going to be benched whenever I get Owain, even if he ends up being a Nino like recruit. I do feel like Lazward might be too clunky to not get changed in the American version.

I mostly agree with this post, but the Outrealms being involved doesn't prevent it from being a new world though. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think that characters have much control over where they go so it's possible that if they're the children of the 1st gen kids from the saved future, they could have all decided to explore a new world and just accidentally ended up in FEif's world. Which could easily be an alternate dimension/planet. That being said, I'm in the "they're just allusions" camp. Hmm that's actually a good theory.

I'm not crazy about Pieri's dual toned hair, but I think it might go well with her being a Blood Knight like character. She's like a mix of Lissa (face and hair), Cynthia (her eye) and Noire (an alternate, violent personality, although Pieri's works differently.) Imagine if this applies on enemy turns or if Galeforce returns...either way would make her very useful. I like the characters in a vaccum, but it does feel weird to have expys of them so soon. That being said I like all them in a vacuum. I like this idea. What if his critical involves his hand glowing with dark magic while shaking, before unleashing his attack?

There's also the fact, speaking strictly about marriages between first cousins, I saw a study saying the defect rate of children born among first cousins is only 4%, about double the rate of the general population, while incest among first degree relatives is closer to 50%. So setting aside social taboos, shouldn't incest between first-cousins or step siblings be allowed in FEif if they allow homosexuality? I hope that's not somehow offensive. (I'm just making an argument, I'm not advocating for Kamui being able to romance his siblings).
