  1. That said I agree about what you said that they do spare or save people who normally get killed because Kamui isn't there to stop it. It just doesn't always work out because Iago and Ganz are jerks.
  2. Apparently that was only Nintendo America advertising it as that, just like they made it sound like its all going to be one game instead of two. I never saw them joining Nohr for anything beyond wanting to be with the siblings they know and cared for. Kamui barely knows the Hoshido siblings but grew up all his life with the Nohr ones. So he stays in order to be with them. Also Nohr itself is not evil, as you can clearly tell by all the Nohr units you can recruit. It's just lead by a goo monster, his loyal henchmen, and has a disgusting thug named Ganz.
  3. No I'm pretty sure Blame Takumi/Iago will always be the thing. Considering one's a terrible piece of crap and the other's Takumi.
  4. My favorite amongst the siblings as well.
  5. Honestly I think just being surprised that would be it for Garon on the third route and nothing else might fit just because they know he's a corpse puppet used by Anankos. Whatever decent or good traits the real Garon had were crushed after years of brainwashing and meddling with his corpse. All that remains is a goo monster loyal to a nutjob. I do want to know if that's a wormhole or a black hole Anankos made at the end.
  6. I like the idea behind it at least. Damaging it should remove more ice than what it does. Though it does seem to be a roulette since you never know how many enemies are beneath the ice.
  7. I'm sure some mage or sorceror has learned how to use dark magic to destroy excrement while it's still inside the body.
  8. I never imagined they'd start a revolution early either. I expected it to happen about a third or about 75% into the story though. Deal with Hoshido first so the war won't be a problem and then start a rebellion.
  9. It was clearly done by popularity, with the most popular ones appearing from different generations.
  10. I think it makes sense for the Awakening characters to be in Nohr. They did travel from a different world and don't know the history of this one and they came to work for people that they genuinely cared for. So staying by their side because they come to care about the Nohr siblings and their fellow officers would be natural.
  11. Hydra at least is better at keeping himself hidden and leaves it to his minions disguised as others to mess with things, which is more than I could say for Grima or his Grimleal.
  12. Honestly I don't have a problem with it like some others. Instigating a rebelling during a war wouldn't help a nation that was already suffering from inner turmoil. Though that just could be my Nohr bias since I've liked them since day one.
  13. Not really. Hydra is a dragon that's greater than them as a being that is neither Black nor White. That's why his symbol is a half white dragon and a half black dragon or why Kamui can use Dark and White Blood on the third route. Showing how both Hydra and its progeny can harness the powers of both and not just one, along with their own water powers. It should be obvious that those bits should be taken as fact, because they even explain the origins of Kamui and all the Nohr/Hoshido siblings besides Aqua and that Hydra came to Mikoto. The Water Familiar is not a dragon, which is the point of his Class name in Nohr. The Dark Night Dragon likely did exist at one point. Here are the two filenames: 暗夜竜_st_笑 and MJID_INTRO_暗夜竜: Dark Dragon. Dark Night (Anya) is the Japanese name for Nohr. The eye thing gives credence to it likely being the Dragon because after you do enough damage to Hydra/Anankos all that's left is the eye he holds in his mouth and you have to defeat the eye. Just like Dark Night Dragon has only eye. http://imgur.com/MhaqDmD
  14. Well there had to be a real dragon as those links mentioned. People sided with different dragons in those dragon wars, and were rewarded land and became the Royal Families. The safest bet is that Garon had something connected to Nohr's Dark Dragon which the Water Familiar is now using, but this is purely speculation at this point. It's sorta hinted this might be the case because the red eye on the Dark Dragon is also found in Slime Garon's chest. Also you might want to take into fact that at this point in time it's suggested Hydra is insane, so they might not even be abusing its gifts but thinks they are. Just like Kamui betrayed him by surviving the Hooded Man's assassination attempt. Here's the pic with the Light Mask. http://imgur.com/cnRxlud The Golem is just a monster like the Faceless. I just wanted to post his face.
  15. Hydra can see the future so it's not too far fetched he could see himself going crazy and try to subvert it to some degree. Also I checked the Japanese filename the Dragon Garon becomes is the Dark Night Dragon. So it is the Dragon of Nohr rather than Hydra. This links to the pics of the Dark Mask, The Invisible Dragons symbol, and Golem. http://imgur.com/a/AEMmo
  16. Hydra was likely used because said dragons are usually around water in some form and the genus Hydra that live in freshwater.
  17. I know there's artwork of the Dark mask, but I don't know if there's one for the Light. Could be they are part of the same unit anyways so they didn't make one for the Light Mask.
  18. One of the screenshots for the third route shows his "Spirit" or Invisible Form, which is indeed a Light/Dark Masks. Or Purple and Yellow in this case since that's the colors used for them. Technically Kamui nearly gave in to his instincts in said chapter where Aqua calms him down, but he was able to revert back. Being half-dragon probably means his instincts are less likely to take over, but if he transforms while really angry or sad it happens instantly. The monster Garon (Water Familiar) is hinted to be Garon in both paths and at this point we don't know for sure. At the least he appears to be harnessing the power of the Dark Dragon of Nohr for its own purpose rather than the Dragon being an aspect of Hydra/Anankos. We'll need more information to know what that form is. The family assumed Anankos and the Dark Dragon were the same because they've likely never heard the dragons name before, but its likely the Dark Dragon is a different entity.
  19. Dark Water Star Dragon doesn't work. The part about him being a Water Dragon made it clear it is neither White (Light/Hoshido) or Black (Dark/Nohr). Anankos being mistaken for a different guy was due to Garon seeking consul with it, which the characters themselves assumed was the Dark Dragon of Nohr. But since Garon was replaced with a Water Familiar it was actually a monster seeking advice form its master. Odin also isn't entirely sure if it's the past or not as well, because his supports with other characters besides his daughter he mentions other worlds that they came from. Edit: Dang VincentASM you beat me to it and even posted a link to what I was talking about. Although now that I'm rereading it it does makes me wonder if the Dragons are the ones who reside in the Invisible Kingdom. After all they became spirits and hid themselves. What better place to live than an Invisible Nation no one knows about?
  20. Followed by Takumi, who is possessed (And there's two of him). Also hints of him being a monster in both routes, like during Azura's dance or when he's defeated water bubbles appear from his body.
