  1. I really like her too, but nearly all my pairing planning revolves around her lol
  2. Lustrous Daybreak doesn't sound too farfetched if we're getting another Tellius game. After all, FE16 would be the first game on a home console since the Tellius games. But I think it's a fake. We've seen how many subtitles now? Elegy of the Brave, Mutiny, now Lustrous Daybreak. Plus, "lustrous" sounds like a weird way to describe daybreak. "Shining" makes more sense.
  3. Oh ok. Be wary of the talk section in the character data sheet. Make a habit to check after every time you capture a castle Also, everyone but Tailtiu has more options than meets the eye when it comes to lovers. Sylvia x Dew or Chulainn/Holyn is underrated, IMO.
  4. Roads are your friends- they allow characters to travel further than they normally could. You're probably aware of the Love System by now, with it affecting Edain and Ayra the most. For Ayra, don't sweat it. Any guy is a decent partner for her tbh. For Edain, she's great with most of the guys already in your army. I don't want to get into specifics to avoid spoilers though. Dew can give money to everyone, regardless if they're his lover or not. However, it's hard to train him up, so if he's nearby, I'd recommend giving him the kill. Thieves can also unlock bridges, but that mechanic is hardly used. You may want to be quick. Since it's your first time, I would normally say to take it slow. If you do, don't feel bad, you'll just miss out on some items that you can beat the game without. They only make 1 or 2 characters' lives easier anyway, so you're not missing much. I don't know how spoiled you are in story, and it's hard to give tips for this game in particular because a lot of the mechanics are explained in the story.
  5. I don't think it's necessary- I would be alright if they cosplayed as other Nintendo characters, but just cosplay. There's hundreds of characters yet to make it in the game, and a lot of them marketable. Even the older game characters. Shanna's and Priscilla's boost in popularity can attest to the fact that older characters can gain new fans. I would say no though. There's plenty of ideas and characters they could use before settling on crossover characters.
  6. It's great from a gameplay standpoint. The wheel works to give glimpses into the future, so it does make SOME sense lore-wise. It probably didn't work in that scene because there was already a premonition, they didn't know how to interpret it at the time.
  7. I hope it isn't. I like having hit rates, crit rates, big maps with a lot of characters to choose from (which is why Grand Conquests is my favorite mode). I feel like not having those things in a mainline FE would detract from the experience. I love how you can't always rely on a plan to carry you through, and you may need to think fast to get out of a predicament. Heroes also doesn't really penalize you for losing Heroes, so I wouldn't like this for a main game either. I'm also not crazy about the broken armor portraits, mainly because they seems like ways to sexualize characters (females a lot more often). But since it's a gacha game, I let it slide. But I wouldn't want to see it in a mainline FE, since the context is different. However, I would like if they cross over some of the skills and effects from Heroes though. I really like the skill system in Heroes, and I think skills such as Draw Back, Pivot, etc., can add a lot of strategic value to a mainline FE game. I also really enjoy the Grand Conquests base capture mode, and I think base capturing can be a fun map objective if the map's big. As for art, I can see a lot of artists working well with FE and wouldn't mind one of them working on the next FE, except for a few.
  8. I think it's bit premature for your teacher to claim that the Korean War is ending. Yes, the situation looks good for now, but I can't help but feel cynical. Who knows if they're able to smooth things out in a way that both parties are happy. However, I do think the reason peace talks are occurring can be due to multiple factors: The Olympics usually represent World Peace and collaboration, and the fact that the previous Olympics this Winter allowed both North and South Koreans to represent Team Korea has made many Koreans long for a time where they can be united and there's no need for the wall. Or rather, they want peace. KJU knows that other world powers are no longer taking his bait, so his threats don't have the leverage they used to. I'm not the biggest fan of Trump, but this is one example where his stubborn and obstinate nature may have worked to his advantage; you can argue that he shares a lot of similarities with KJU. If North Korea is really running out of resources, the government has to think fast to build bridges before the people come for their heads.
  9. Just seems like a reference to FE. I wouldn't take it too seriously. That being said, I would love to see the return of the "War Mage" or "Magefighter" class. I know it was never an optimal class, but I always enjoyed using it. Maybe it's because I liked the characters that had it (Tailtiu, Tine, Linda)
  10. I wonder how many more "leaks" will pop up before E3 lol I guess if it's not at E3, it's not coming out this year. Since they stated that they wanted to focus on the 2018 games. Has FE ever been delayed before? IIRC I wanna say PoR was and that's why Sacred Stones came to fruition (to make more time for PoR). But what I sincerely hope is that the designer for the character costumes has some FASHION sense. Some of the costumes from the last couple of games were cool and gave birth to some of my favorite generic designs, but some were just plain bad (NO BUTT FLAPS. THIS ISN'T A GAY BAR. WHO WEARS A G STRING TO BATTLE?! WHY WEAR A BIG ASS TOILET BOWL FOR YOUR NECK BUT LEAVE YOUR ASS EXPOSED?! THE TOILET IS AT THE WRONG END!). Meanwhile, here's something I would like for a dancer: I'd prefer the one on the left, since it has swords like a dancer would. Tbh I'd be fine if a dancer didn't have any weapon of some sort, as long as they could dance for more people per turn, like a combo of the GBA dancers and the FE4 dancers.
  11. Likely, but not guaranteed. We still have over half a year left and FE games only need 3 months to be revealed and released.
  12. Dancers/refreshers are my favorite class. But they weren't there, so I went with Dark Pegasus, but it also wasn't there. So I settled for Basara which I thought was cool. Maybe I should've picked Druid since it's in my name though. I'm a fake?! EXPOSED?! Edit: Druid isn't there either so I guess my reputation is... clean.
  13. As long as Link says "Excuuusssee me, princess" and then pan her looking at the camera.
  14. This, plus the $ they made from DLC probably means a sequel following the same practice would not be a crazy idea.
  15. Dreamcatcher would be all dark mages.
  16. It doesn't make much sense for character progression, but it does make sense gameplay-wise. It's not the only series where the characters lose a lot of their OP abilities from a past game. There's only a two year gap in between the games, so it doesn't make sense for them to lose that much stats in that time (well, the knight characters, since they'll most likely keep training even after the war.) At least Abel and Kain were decently leveled.
  17. Is there a certain topic on YouTube where you just think "why isn't there something like this?" or "I rather do it this way" then by all means go for it. I would say that the biggest thing a YouTuber needs is organization. How frequently will you upload and what time(s) will you upload? Planning a schedule is important, because people like to know about when they can expect you.
  18. I was originally gonna comment something more weird, but decided it was a TMI moment.
  19. He doesn't really need great growth rates. His bases are decent and he has access to the best class in the game.
  20. It usually depends on the context, but spells get away with it more for me. Although I wonder how the VAs think when they're shouting these lines though.
  21. I prefer Boxer Briefs. The perfect medium. Boxers get riled up and sometimes stick out, and briefs can be tight on me.
  22. I like number 5 the best. We got a taste of Civil War in RD with Ludveck, but I think it could be expanded upon. Especially if we find out a neighboring nation or two has been helping them overthrow the kingdom. Could work as either a protagonist and antagonist. (Isn't there a game with a similar premise now that I think about it? I forget what it's called, but the PS4 version is one side and the Vita version is the other.) My idea ~inspired by the historical character Diao Chan~ The antagonist is a beautiful woman that works in the castle as a dancer/songstress/concubine/attendant/etc. However, she has caught the attention of not only the Prince, but his Right Hand Man (who's a military commander) as well. She slowly turns them against one another, dividing the army. Meanwhile, her background includes association from some sort of anti-monarchy faction/dark dragon cult/etc. Maybe she can be some witch that's really old and the beautiful facade is just merely a disguise. She eventually takes over the group she works for, becomes some sort of monster as a final boss. So basically, she's a cross between Diao Chan, Loki (Heroes), and Lyon.
  23. How do we define a good player exactly? Do we take into account LTC or unit effectiveness?
  24. Most characters are male, and "chauvinism is highly flammable" /s. Res Growths don't need to be high, since magic type enemies tend to be rarer. I like it like that, because it shows that not anyone can pick up a tome and become a mage and also forces the player to strategize more on how to defeat the enemy.
