  1. Touhou had a town mass Neighbourizer, someone who was sort of like a Town Courier (plus other stuff), as well as a Mafia Announcer who could message people. That's 3 OC roles. Only one of them allowed complete OC, but it allowed it as more than just two people chats.
  2. Yeah, I think "the entire game" bit was her being sarcastic. Her logic is exactly that since she had no votes on her and nobody really thought she was scummy, she was a possible NK target, making it more important for her to use her dayvig shot.
  3. What does a paranoid cop have to do with multiple OC? I don't particularly agree with Eclipse's logic but I don't understand your logic in bringing that up.
  4. Paranoid means that all results received are guilty, not that all results received are random.
  5. FYPOV so is Prims. Why are you talking to him like he's town?
  6. My role isn't shot-based exactly but does involve recharging. j00, would it count for that?
  7. Wow so many people spamming I'm getting cut like crazy Not sure what to make of Networker claim. Easily provable but doesn't really say much for alignment. However, Eclipse, I don't think that lynching him solely based on being Networker is smart. Yeah it's a lot of OC, but that doesn't matter unless you think Elie is lying completely about his role, which I doubt since it's so provable. The OC exists regardless of alignment.
  8. Oh, the Serial Killer in Haze's rolename was throwing me off. Haze wasn't really a SK as much as a guardian type of role that required Excellen to survive. Wombat brings up a good point against Elie.
  9. Well I'm still not exactly sure why Haze died, but hidden is down and Eclipse is probably town on role. I guess that puts me back to ##Hug: Excellen, ##Dismember: Elieson. Gonna go over Naglfar's content again.
  10. So it depends on whether the previous day is *YLO? That's sort of iffy, but w/e. Waiting to hear from the Watcher for an easy scum.
  11. Actually ##Unvote, no reason to massclaim fully. Watcher, out who the people who visited Kirsche are.
  12. Yeah so we're massclaiming If mafia silenced Kirsche, he's legit (unless WIFOM but ehhh I don't think it was necessary when pretty much everyone was following it anyways). That leaves 3/4 people on the NNR wagon to be scum. SB, I thought you said you couldn't use your role in *YLO? And even if you could, why would you, as town, in this scenario? You haven't used it up to this point so nothing points to it being compulsive. ##Vote: SB. Dunno who the town on the wagon is, but I think it's least likely to be SB. I'll reread in a few hours.
  13. Eclipse, we shouldn't lynch Snike because only one person can really be a valid powerwagon choice (half-joke, half-serious). And yeah idr a single thing that Shin has done the entire day.
  14. rage why do ovens take so long to heat up My lynch priority for today: Excellen > Elie > Naglfar > Kirsche/Psych > Shinori/Wombat
  15. Excellen = Gyarados and ITP = Independent Third Party. Now I woke up at like 3 pm and have been doing mafia related stuff after a shower, so excuse me for a while while I get a very late lunch.
  16. Oh yeah, Psych. I think that if he is what I think he is, his role, if claimed, is too public to be used for much mafia benefit. I don't really feel like lynching him either.
  17. @Eclipse- Meh, I guess it's your decision and ultimately I think that you know what you're doing. I was saying that more to Elie anyways, because he specifically UNDERLINED the portion of Kirsche's post that he thought was a crumb, which was particularly facepalm inducing. Anyways, with Elie's second wall, tone =/= emotion. You can sound smug while sounding completely calm, which is what I thought you were doing. Also, IIRC someone (Manix?) pointed out that Ether played similarly in Shipping, a game in which you were also in. We vigged him for that and he was town. I'm not telling you to treat him as a townread, but it should at least be a nulltell if he can't get anything much out of posts. Sure, ask him questions about particular people or posts, but I don't think it's a good scumread. Also, I gave this some thought and I'm going to ##Hug: Elie, ##Eviscerate Excellen. Elie's still a scumread but the more I think about it the more Excellen's posts are just particularly egregious to me. Yeah I know that he's not a wagon and we need like 10 votes in 5 hours for a lynch, but I feel much more confident about him than about anyone else. If not Excellen, I would still vote Elie and maybe Naglfar today. Now that I've understood Shinori's claim, I don't feel like lynching him as much.
  18. First off, if people spot someone else's role crumb, can they keep that to themselves? There is very little town benefit to outing someone else's crumb before they claim. Maybe it gives you some personal benefit by realizing what their role is, but you also make it much more likely that the mafia will realize what it is as well. Not worth it IMO. Anyways, I guess Elie's first wall is a marked improvement over his prior content. However: While his renewed Shinori and Wombat suspicions are better than the ones he had earlier, they're just that, new. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but at the times of his original suspicions on them, a lot of the stuff he quotes hadn't been posted. Shinori's reaction to you voting him for saying someone was lazy was bad (bringing in self-meta), but that doesn't change the fact that you still didn't use the same meaning of lazy as he did when you voted him. Ofc, he then changed to your meaning of laziness in that post you quoted, so idk. As for Wombat, yeah, semantics analysis can sometimes find you a scumslip, but please tell me how saying "I dislike this" instead of "I find this scummy" is one of those cases. And as for you thinking Wombat's Bizz case was bad, that's fine, but that doesn't mean you can just say that it's not even there, which is what you said originally. As for the stuff he quoted about Wombat in that last post, what I agree with the most on is that blurb about Manix. A numbers claim is what it is. If a townie is informed of the numbers, they should out them right away, and if the mafia is informed of them, they would out them right away too. All that can be determined from it so far is that if Manix is scum, Numbers is probably part of his role rather than something he's just making up randomly (like Shinori in SFM2), because of knowing there's a hidden, and because 7 non-town point at either multiple ITPs or two scumteams, neither of which BSing mafia would be able to make an exact guess on. HOWEVER, Wombat is I think town just because of his treatment of his claim. I can't see mafia announcing HEY I AM GODFATHER and I also think that if he were scum, his buddies would inform him of this site's meta and how people would be more likely to proceed on this site.
  19. Okay, first off, Wombat is partially correct. If Shinori is paranoid only PART of the time, while his guilty reports can't be trusted, his innocent reports can. Either mafia or town might scan as mafia, but only town can scan as town (unless Godfather etc). So basically he can clear people sometimes, but he can't directly catch scum. I blame my lack of sleep for the reason I didn't realize that at the time. So a sometimes Paranoid Cop is not a Vanilla- a Cop that's always paranoid, however, is, because he'll never get an inno report (except against Wombat, apparently). I don't even understand Wombat's role. Is it literally there JUST so Shinori can clear [/i]one[/i] person? Also flavourspec but why on earth would the Shinori role always scan town? And I don't like Wombat's reaction to me not properly understanding what Paranoid meant. You could have just said "dude, your understanding of paranoid is wrong", and explained it like I just did, but instead you turn it into a slight scumread? And I'll get to Elie's posts now.
  20. If the mods are stating that you are possibly paranoid, none of your reports can be trusted, and you're an effective Vanilla. The mods would know this, and I don't believe that a game that specifically states that there are no Vanillas would have a role like this. I'm super sleepy and can't think properly anymore, so I'll get back to this when I wake up, but I think you're BSing.
  21. Also if you get paranoid reports on even a fraction of your reports, and aren't told about when it happens and when you're getting legit reports, that's basically the same as a full on paranoid cop because we still can't trust any of your reports. ie still a Vanilla
  22. If you're a Cop and your flavour implies you might be paranoid, why on earth haven't you clarified that with the mods in the 48 hours since the game started?
  23. wtf when did I state I had a townread on SB I never said I had a townread on SB, and I even pointed out scummy stuff that Psych had done in his last post. I'm not defending him, I just think your point about the scumslip is bad, and I said that he was justified for attacking anyone attacking him for that. Paranoid Cops who are told that they are paranoid are effective Vanillas. I don't like the claim or its timing. Elie, I'll get to your wall in the morning because it's huge.
  24. Oh, I misread your post Scorri. I think Psych's vote for you was bad because it said you were scum for switching onto a wagon that was more likely to mislynch town, which assumes you know who the town are, which is sort of circular logic. I don't really think it was an OMGUS though. Shinori mentions the suspicion drop, but the way the blurb there is structured gave me the impression the vote was more wrt the "scumslip", and his latest post saying "GUYS THE SCUMSLIP" just reinforces that. Eclipse brings up a good point about the Bizz wagon, something I'd pointed out earlier but forgotten. 2/3 votes on it were RVS, so it wasn't even a real wagon. Picking the only serious vote out of the "wagon" on her is not really wagon analysis.
