From what I myself have played thus far I do like the presentation as I feel dragged into the story though part of that is due to the voice acting which gives the game a breath of life. I like the animations of the fights but the maps... they just are really weak. They're huge in scope but here in lies one of the problems which is they can drag on for far too long. The game does feel more like an rpg than a tactical strategy game and that isn't a bad thing but... it just doesn't feel so challenging to the point where I have to actually think about what to do as I command my units (I am playing Hard mode and no not grinding). The music is good, but I honestly preferred Fates: Conquest's music and I need to compare Awakening with Echoes music to just to decide between the two and another problem I have with the music in this game is it's too consistent like at least in Fates the music was changing with each new map so it doesn't feel like it overstays it welcome and makes them feel unique in their own way. So in all my rankings so far are: Conquest > Echoes > Awakening > Birthright > We do not mention this.

I've been on team Ephraim and Minerva from the get go for all their rounds too, but I still overall enjoyed Ephraim's battle against Chrom because it was a even match and the character which according to the Heroes poll ranked lower by 3 places won so I just feel extremely proud about that victory.

I got so many replies, but yeah I started using them after getting the 2nd reply that said to go and do it. The reason I kept all these flags was with the assumption that Robin would be in the weaker status thus more 3x multiplier opportunities, but Robin hasn't exactly been getting those chances a lot.

Should I just start using my flags? Like I now have 3800 left and so I'm going to use 200 every time going forward now. Just that I feel like I'm going to mess us up by not instead waiting for the multiplier...

At least Leo didn't lose in the first round like he did last time, so it is an improvement. As part of team Robin may the best tactician team win.

It was a joke anyways. Shadowofchaos's typo to me was a Phil from Hercules moment where he himself says more or less words when he starts with "I got 'number' words for you" which is a running gag. If I had a meme pic of him I would have posted that.

I would have joined team Sanaki if Robin wasn't in this gauntlet. I just want a male character to win a gauntlet already. XD

Especially considering Sanaki should have the advantage due to having Triangle Adept so if she faces someone else who has Julia enough said.

Added you too fellow tactician. I have Defiant Speed for my Robin who is +Spd with a 33 speed because he can double units with 35 spd and there is a lot of them in that meta. Not to mention because scared of having TA with Merric around.

I'm joining Team Robin especially since we might be the only ream that has a chance against Tharja (both Awakening characters) which includes weapon advantage (but I'm not going to hold my breathe). Also darn that new focus like wow. I gotta get Ike (still), Ryoma and Hector.

I managed to get 4 star Zephiel thanks to Nino, Eirika, Azura and Ninian. Absolutely fitting how Nino takes out Zephiel. It would have spared Elibe so much trouble had she went through with it when he was a kid lol.

Faye was never a character in Gaiden and no females can't become archers in the remake.

Yeah not really happy about how Faye is a archer given that she can't become one in Echoes. People complained about Lucius using a staff but it does make sense given that once he promotes he can use one (same applies to Raven). Would be baffling if Kliff isn't a mage here. If anything I was expecting Faye as a cleric, especially because... But yeah I'm looking forward to Kliff (though worried) and especially Boey.

I think my favorites so far from what I have heard thus far would have to be Duma's battle theme, Berkut's Fight 2 and Mila's Divine Protection. Now I do like the recruitment theme and the final map theme for this game but I prefer Fates for those instead honestly. Just that the final map theme isn't as energetic for my liking it's more so tame (it doesn't have that "This is our final battle! Let's go forth and save everything that we love with all our strength!" kinda feel), certainly better than Awakening's overrated ID Purpose (ID Hope is so much better) but I just don't think it's as good as everyone is making it out to be... sorry but it just looks to me everyone is blowing the ost out of proportion (especially because it's a remake), but then again when there is a new FE game that usually always is the case.

Kliff and Boey are my favorites and I am so making Kliff a mage so going to love my mages especially design wise in this game.

I am joining Team Minerva. She was one of the few characters who I actually liked from Shadow Dragon which is my least favorite game in the series partly due to there being hardly any other characters getting character exposure (no supports hurts) but she had a nice story development going on. Team Camilla is likely going to win but I'm going with Minerva especially because of this here. Let's change the tide of this gauntlet my fellow Red Dragoons!

I got Ninian and she ended up be neutral just like my Azura which is a funny coincidence (would have preferred +Atk for Ninian but this will do) and when I was like for the heck of it in trying for another Ninian I got Jaffar... and I was very happy (not only because he can join my Nino +Spd -Def) because Takumi has been my main colorless unit in every Arena and it's been rather boring. He is +Def -HP which is a +4 Def so pretty good actually as he is able to take a hit from Kagero and double her in taking her out I found out in Arena. I was not expecting him because if anything imo Ninian and Karel are easier to get due to being the only focus units of their type because Jaffar has like a 1 in 4 shot at being obtained given how the others get in the way (and they're underwhelming too).

Isn't that the truth. If anything those skills along with Vantage Lyn and Ryoma with their Defiant Atk just makes sense for a high attacking unit that can leave a huge dent or take out a incoming foe. Brave weapons just suit characters with Darting Blow (Camilla being the best example of it given she's the only one with these two) so in that case they can quadruple attack. Granted Camilla isn't so good with spd when on enemy phase but that's why a +Spd of her while being buffed +4 spd with someone like Takumi with Threaten Spd or herself would do the trick to really get at units with 40 spd dropped to 35 while she has 40 spd on player phase.

Out of everything that's the only news that is disheartening for the game for me. At least terrain well have more of a impact so it's not all completely a loss.
