  1. I have to keep it up every so often to stay good, so it's often times a work in progress for me. Luckily for me, nobody's seeing my bare legs right now, so I can take my time by starting the arms and chest, and having to do the legs too in one time consuming session isn't needed. That's the only way I can shave my body at all, because I've got quite a bit of hair otherwise.
  2. You don't have to strain yourself to explain things. If you can't do much at the moment, don't worry. The important part is providing the album. I think I want to start with three albums for a week and kick it off now, to just see how it goes. Anyone have an idea for a good wavelength time, like Friday or Saturday night?
  3. Anyone else think that David Johnson is going to be an absolute monster in the pros? I hope the Eagles draft him.
  4. Okay maybe 200 lbs. is light for him, but still he's probably no more than 220 or 230. Hector's built more for power because of his size though, and again, he's shown with Armads, a comically huge weapon.
  5. Okay here are some guesses: Hector can handle Armads, an axe that I would surmise weighs anywhere from 50-80 lbs., accounting for his armor, body type, and build, he can probably bench 450-500 lbs., maybe 550. He probably weighs ~220-230 lbs. himself. Ike clearly works out, but given his combination of agility and strength, he probably does strength / endurance training for his muscles. He probably is an ultra-lean 200 lbs., and he could max at 350 lbs. or so, but I'd bet he can do 12 reps at that weight. Gatrie is my bet for FE powerlifting champ at 700-800 lbs. bench press. Gatrie's like 260-270 lbs. of muscle.
  6. Run The Jewels - Run the Jewels II This album's essentially one big collaboration between the two rappers featured in the album, you'll hear them referred to as Mike and LP. It's pretty intense as far as rap goes, though unlike other hardcore hip hop acts, stylistically it stays truer to the roots of hip hop forgotten by groups like clipping., and to a larger extent, Death Grips. Gangsta Boo and Zach De La Rocha are notable features on this record. The submissions list viewable by everyone now https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IPXqNxzT7RfIJ3eKMmTAiGChxA9V2QOFTjlxfBNkqWo/edit?usp=sharing
  7. I'd like to take this time to reiterate that I said earlier, I in no way would diminish his actions, I was simply making a somewhat humorous observation.
  8. I'm probably going to do what I did in the old game too, and go with my Lightsabre Blademaster. Also going to make an Avenger. Fun fact: DFO is the game where I developed this screen name, I made a Priest named Brickington because the dude was a beefcake, and since then it's stuck.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8epy8_N85pc If you're a fan of The Prodigy you might like this one.
  10. I'd say No Love Deep Web, but I can't post it here
  11. I've been thinking a lot about doing this again, even before I returned to these forums, because of how awesome our music club was last time. I probably found one of my favorite groups from some guy who shared an unknown group's bandcamp ~3-5 years ago, so I'd like to return the favor to the other users of this fine forum, in a fun group that I lovingly call "The Music Geeks Club". Important Stuff: Previous Album Recap Week 1 (Done): Eels - Electro Shock Blues, Run the Jewels - Run The Jewels II, Marvin Gaye - What's Going On Coming Up Week 2: O'Brother - Disillusion, Life Without Buildings - Any Other City, Michael Hedges - Live on the Double Planet On Deck: Alexisonfire - Alexisonfire, Death Grips - The Powers That B Form results https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IPXqNxzT7RfIJ3eKMmTAiGChxA9V2QOFTjlxfBNkqWo/edit?usp=sharing Group Listen Date: TBD ______________________________________________________________________________________ Overview Because this may be a long post, I'll underline the most important stuff for you =============================================================================== Here's how it works: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Y0ogZKuFPXhDZBKq0MmtIEtc4WANSrR8ZIOh02Euspo/viewform?usp=send_form Submitting an album Step 1: Submit your album to that link above Step 2: Post in the thread to introduce the album to other users Step 3: Wait patiently for your turn Note: If you have already had a suggestion looked at by the club, I will adjust your priority on future suggestions so everyone gets an opportunity to share. This does not mean you'll never get a chance to share again! No album? No problem! Since the last thread, I've discovered a website that will make it a lot easier for us to listen to music; similar to that of plug.dj http://wavelength.fm/SerenesForest You may upload files to this website, and it will play them, it works similarly to plug.dj (IT IS NOT A FILESHARING SITE, YOU CANNOT SIMPLY DOWNLOAD THE MUSIC). Please also note that this site may not play nicely with your browser, I suggest trying a different browser in the event this happens (I was using Pale Moon initially, but I had to switch to Chrome) Once things get off the ground, we can start scheduling group listening times. I have a volafile linked in the Google Form, but that's as far as I'm willing to go, in the way of actually sharing music. That should have all of our bases covered as far as being able to actually listen to the albums. Youtube and Spotify ought to be helpful as well (though I really would rather not use YT for music). Listener's Guide This is the entire point of the club: Share your opinions of the albums which people took time to share. People are bound to have different taste, so some degree of respect is expected, after all, these folks cared enough to share their music with you. On the other hand, speak your mind with regards to the music itself. Be as brief, or long as you desire. If you don't have time to give a page-long response, simply a sentence or two will do. This whole group won't be kept alive by me, it's going to happen because of YOU. Listening and participating in music discussion is the most important part of the group. Share your music, and then please stick around to give other people the same courtesy given to you. If you get nothing else from what I'm saying, please remember this. Rules 1. Submissions are first come, first serve (generally) 2. Please let people know if content of an album is objectionable, album art is NSFW, etc. 3. When posting an album intro in thread, include album art if possible and try to include some info on the album's genre / style (be brief) 4. Durng group listening, only the sharer is allowed to touch the controls of the wavelength room ============================================================================= ______________________________________________________________________________________ Okay, now that the wall of text is done, anyone have thoughts for ways to improve ANYTHING here?
  12. Shadow Dragon is a faithful remake, but it's objectively the worst game in the series.
  13. I'm shocked to see two votes for Shadow Dragon, as I wouldn't define underrated as "good game, but relatively bad", like that. Thracia is my vote because I know plenty of FE fans who haven't played it. Sure, the game's hard, but it's almost as advanced as Radiant Dawn in terms of game system, and the scenarios for each map are excellently designed. Shame we can't say the same for the translation. I can also concievably see someone going Gaiden, in hindsight, the changes from FE1 to Gaiden were incredible, and that seems to be FE game that gets the least attention overall.
  14. I'm with you on that, this is something where most of the time you SHOULD TRY to move on, but it's not like that's pretty simple to do. As far as I'm concerned, it was a godsend to be in the situation I'm in, being about 5-6 months out from going to MCRD San Diego, so I really have a lot of leeway to forget about girls right now. I've still got feelings for one girl, but at the same time, I'm blessed with the ability of just not caring too much about what happens, and it helps me loosen up. At the end of the day, that's the quickest change you can make for the better, is just loosening up about your situation.
  15. This can be true to an extent, but after a while the usefulness of talking things out withers away. Be wary that sometimes, there is such a thing as talking about your problem too much. Also, it's easy to wear out friends with such talk. Eventually they will grow more and more blunt, or cynical.
  16. If you're going to be nitpicky about language, then yes, I'll give you that. I have heard baseless claims about Hitler in school, like the reason he killed himself was because he was related to Jews to name one thing, that no sort of fact was provided to back it up, at all; you can't back up a claim like that. I know there were many classmates who believed it.
  17. I would have an orgy with mal malloy and her clones, speaking of orgies
  18. Two big conditions: 1. It's a MOBA 2. It's optimized terribly I can have fun with even stupid games if they play smoothly. Unless it's a MOBA.
