  1. Actually, I've heard a lot people saying that Bewear has OU potential.Which I can agree, because Bewear is hella bulky.
  2. Actually, Ghost hits Fairy just fine. That being said, Totem Mimikyu hits really hard. And I think you're just about to hit the climax of the story.
  3. Sadly, the only physical Ghost move that Alola Marowak learns is Shadow Bone which he learns at level 27. I think you see the problem here. I just found out about it recently. I was so sure it learned it upon evolution, but I was wrong. Also he can't learn Shadow Claw.
  4. A serious warning people! There has been reports of a very serious glitch in Sun and Moon. People are reporting that saving in a Pokemon Center may cause your file to end up corrupt! It actually similar to the Lumiose glitch. Do not save at a Pokemon Center until a patch comes out!
  5. The system probably doesn't take abilities in account, only the type. Speaking of the Gastly family and Levitate, it worth knowing that Gengar lost Levitate in this Gen. It's ability now is Cursed Body.
  6. I'm pretty much close to finishing the game, and I have to say, this is one of the hardest Pokemon games out there. What really saved me during the boss trainers, was the fact that you switch Pokemon after defeating one of the opponent's Pokemon. Since this can be turned off, I wonder how harder the game would be. I might try it one day. What do you guys think? Would this game be much harder if the ability to switch Pokemon after defeating an opponent was turned off?
  7. So apparently, Lycanroc's forms are not truly version exclusive. I'm playing Sun and I just ran into a wild Midnight Lycanroc.
  8. Ah, I'm sorry. I was going to mention it, but I forgot. Also, you beat Totem Lurantis, which was probably the hardest boss in the game That being said, I wouldn't let my guard down. There are still some hard bosses down the road. Nothing as hard as Lurantis though.
  9. Pikachu only learns Thunderbolt at Level 42, which is a little too late. Besides, you can find the Thunderbolt TM later.
  10. Alola Raichu will try to learn Psychic from the moment it evolves regardless of level, it also doesn't learn any moves by level up. You can find a Thunderstone in Route 8 which is in the second island. So you're close to it. I would wait to evolve Pikachu until it learns Discharge at level 34.
  11. You too huh...Let me guess, it was a trainer with a Garbodor? And even the Wild Pokemon in the area are of higher level than your Pokemon? Also, considering you just got to the fourth island, that means you just battle a certain someone No problem, this was important for you to know, because the move reminder comes very, very late in the game, pretty much at the end, so you could be stuck with Stenee for a long time.
  12. You plan on using the Bounsweet line? Here's a hint: Bounsweet evolves into Stenee normally by level, but in order to evolve Stenee into Tsareena, you have to let it learn Stomp.
  13. It is on both versions, but you can only catch wild Bounsweet in Lush Jungle, which is the very last trial of the second island. So it might be a while before you can catch one. You could always try to breed the one you get in the trade, since Bounsweet is a female-only Pokemon.
  14. Is it just me, or have the Pokedex entries gotten even creppier? Some examples: Haunter: "It strikes at humans from total darkness. Those licked by its cold tongue grow weaker with each passing day until they die." Gengar: "It apparently wishes for a traveling companion. Since it was once human itself, it tries to create one by taking the lives of other humans." "Should you feel yourself attacked by a sudden chill, it is evidence of an approaching Gengar. There is no escaping it. Give up." Bewear: "This Pokémon has the habit of hugging its companions. Many Trainers have left this world after their spines were squashed by its hug." Also, this time, the Pokedex isn't shy when talking about what Pokemon eat. There are far too many entries that mention Pokemon eating each other or being eaten.
  15. Ah, he's reaching the dreaded Conquest trio of chapters. Chapters 19, 20 and 21. These chapters are what separate men from the boys. Joking aside, it's kinda like Chapter 10, as it is another difficulty spike.
  16. I would advise against using Abra/Kadabra/Alakazam as In-Game Pokemon in Sun/Moon. Mostly because there is this new thing some are calling "Evolution Move": http://www.serebii.net/sunmoon/evolutionmoves.shtml Because of that, it causes a certain glitch that prevents Kadabra from learning Confusion and it will struggle until it learns Psybeam at level 21. Granted, there's always the Exp. Share.
  17. Ribombee might be a good idea actually. It's stats are pretty good, and it's only flaw is the fact that it can only learn Moonblast by breeding.
  18. Totem Vikavolt was also rather easy for me as well. It did help that I had a Lycanroc with a Rock Z-move. I would imagine it would be harder without a Fire or Rock type. Totem Mimikyu however was harder. With things like Shadow Claw and Play Rough, it hits incredibly hard. And hell yeah finally got Primarina!
  19. Luckily for me, it only used Venom Drench once during my battle. Here's a hint for those that haven't fought the Totems: Lower their stats. It work miracles on them. It's the one thing they can't recover. Moves like Growl, Charm and Confide will be very useful!
  20. I'm pretty sure it's always supposed to rain during the Totem Wishiwashi battle. Of the 3 Akala Totems, Salazzle was the easiest one. Not to say it is wasn't hard, because it still gave me trouble. Toxic+Venoshock was a bitch.
  21. Really? It's rather common encounter while surfing. It's also a daytime Pokemon, so it might a little harder to find on Moon. Also, a warning: The Totem Pokemon of the second island are quite hard. It's what TvTropes would Wake up Call bosses. Let me put them in order of difficulty: Salazzle is annoying. It keeps poisoning everything. Wishiwashi is very infuriating. It hits incredibly hard. School form is no joke. And it can be healed! Lurantis is dowright nightmarish! Words cannot describe how hard this battle was for me. That being said, I'm actually enjoying the difficulty! It's rare treat in Pokemon these days.
  22. Dare I ask why? What's to be salty about Dugtrio?
  23. Minor and silly detail, but I was in this place in Akala Island which is a suprmarket, and they actually filet for sale! I know people eat Pokemon, but the games always danced around that fact, except for some Pokedex entries and books. It actually suprising to see some filets for sale in a Pokemon game. I wonder from what Pokemon that meat was...
