  1. I can't process through all the gimmicks, but just a short mention

    Good Gimmicks: Hoshido 23, Conquest 8, 10, 19, 20, 25, Endgame

    Undecided: Hoshido Endgame, Conquest 24

    Bad Gimmicks:Hoshido 10, 11, 19, 20, Conquest 12, Revelations 10, 11

In general, I don't really like one off gimmicks, movement gimmicks, or "trivial" gimmicks.

  2. W-What's with that low number count in Revelations Endgame?

    Why did the number drop?

Is the map small or something?

They felt like it apparently, but yes, though I was never really that good at sizes.

16 would have been a bit overkill, though 13 is still plenty for experienced players

  3. I know what track plays for each map, but I don't know the actual names of the track, since I still have not found a tracklist with the actual songs.

So I found a list on youtube from a certain channel.

The names are kind of silly though...

I'm not sure where Map ET plays though, uh...whoops?

Here's my list anyway. I'm only missing F2 but that's uh, well.

Boss Music is a bit complicated, plus I don't fully recall. Also I don't really know about paralogues

Rage in the Light plays for NPC Hoshidan Bosses

Misery in Hand plays for PC Hoshidans

You of the Light plays for the Hoshido Siblings

    except Takumi

Squirm in the Dark plays for NPC Nohr Bosses

    Condemnation plays for PC Nohrians

You of the Dark plays for the Nohr Siblings

    Lost King's Supper plays for

    Garon in H27 and Gunter

Puppet's Feast and/or Wild Outlaw, I believe they play for most other bosses and nameless bosses...I think., though there might be a few exceptions.

    Destiny by Blood plays for

    Valla bosses

    Fantastical Feast plays for

Garon in N27 and Anankos in R27

Resolve (Light) is the main prep screen music for Hoshido, Resolve (Dark) for Nohr.

The main prep screen music for Revelations is "Those who visit".

"To a Foreign Land" is for side battles and DLC and paralogues I believe?

The prep screen track for H/N/R27 is "New Power".

The Endgame prep screen track is "Destiny, Help Us"

Endless Nightmare is the "Danger" Music. It also plays in some cutscenes I think

Rush (Light) is the promotion music for Hoshido, Rush (Dark) is for Nohr.

Did I mention how the track names are very corny? Oh well.

Maybe it's just how I felt.

  4. Well it really doesn't help me, unlike, like, "almost everyone" (probably not, but still), I'm still referring to the songs by their track names rather than their actual names (E.G. Map B4 Calm, etc), so a list of tracks probably isn't going to help.

To be honest, I wasn't under the impression that we had that many tracks in this game, I forgot how many the other games had (usually around a hundred as well I guess, but really 134?)

  5. [spoiler=DLC]Does Elincia actually appear in the Vanguard's Trail DLC? I heard she does but I have never seen her.

    She doesn't.

    Who said that anyway?

Do you still get weapon rank bonuses?

Also I have a Silas with 14 STR and a steel sword with 9 might and I'm on a space that causes me damage every turn. So I somehow have 24 attack where is the extra point of attack coming from?

    He's also nor paired up

    Yes.

Swords give +MT, anything else, I can't really confirm

  6. I can at least verify that lunatic gives less staff exp (Blooms at Level 1 only give 15 exp, though it's partly counterbalanced because staves are "cheap" and you heal more on higher difficulties)

I think combat exp is still the same though, I guess the developers felt that the exp scaling would be sufficient

  7. A bit confusing, so what is the total content?

That being said, 134 Tracks? I suppose the map themes are separated, and I've not really counted all the event themes.

There's also the question of DLC tracks...

There are 9? Boss themes, and and (4+5+3+3+2=17) base map themes (total 34 I guess), three preparations themes and two special preparations themes, plus more I think.

  8. Guard Stance+ increases the gauge's building when your Lodestar is the support unit, so I guess he's the one who defends your attacking character.

Also, a refresh of my question: in the calculation of my avoidance rate, do they include the base stats only or are the bonuses from weapons that grant you a boost (for example: a fully evolved Omega Yato grants +4 speed if it's in the inventory, using it puts the bonus to +4) included as well?

It's speed so it will be counted into the calculation.

  9. I'm not too sure about the details either, and it also depends on which events you wish to place on the timeline....

I myself would like to know, and although I have my own idea, I'm not sure if the idea I have in mind is the correct one

Like, we know the order of the siblings and what not, but it's still, I dunno, somewhat....

Like I personally would say that (it's not really spoilers)

the age of the avatar when (s)he is kidnapped by Garon, honestly it's hard to tell, mostly because the avatar appears to be young, but I myself am not sure (plus localization might have changed some facts) as the ages are, I think, bounded by what Sakura and Elise may say (and things other say related to that), plus Kaze I believe? And Azura in this case. This is so confusing I'm not even sure what to type anymore.

  10. Am I the only one digging the music? (Why can't I redirect the time correctly? It should start at 25:00)

The music reminds me of like, Future of Despair, I guess.

The video is interesting, I guess

Nope, I like it a lot. But if I'm being 100% honest, I'm getting a little tired of Lost in Thoughts with all the remixes and times it gets sung in the stories.

Yeah, I think the main theme was quite a lot in awakening as well, though I'm not sure which game had a lot. I do agree that they kind of shove it in our faces a few times too many though

    • 巧者の手裏剣(難易度ノーマルかつスズカゼの暗器レベルがB以上もしくは難易度ハード以上)
    • 巧者の和弓(難易度ノーマルかつスズカゼの暗器レベルがB未満)

Apparently on Hard or a higher difficulty or if Kaze's Shuriken weapon rank is B+ its the Shuriken but on Normal and if Kaze's shuriken weapon rank is lower its the Yumi. Weird

That sounds really complicated for just a chest drop, and kind of silly too.

  12. I'm currently playing Revelations, and I'm wondering about Gunter and some spoileriffic events.

I know he leaves the party at some point and is regained later. Does he keep all his experience and growth, or is he essentially an experience sink (I mean, besides being a Jeigan) whom I'm better off shelving until he's regained?

Also, I was just told that you CAN' actually get Yukimura during Revelations. Is this true? I thought he was Birthright-exclusive.

He returns with the same stats, his inventory is different though. and he keeps his growths

Do offensive skills (Aether, Lethality) skills only trigger when you initiate combat?

They still work on both players turns

  13. Which maps have villages or reinforcements with rare/powerful items (and where at)? I can't seem to find information on this anywhere and I'd very much not like to repeat my mistake of missing Boots on my first FE:A playthrough.

If it helps I'm currently on chapter 13 of Hoshido.

It depends on your definitions of rare/powerful

Hoshido 11 apparently has a Snake Spirit dropped somewhere that it's missable

Aside from that, none of the other stuff is really missable, the villages are there and you should probably not have any trouble getting them, and I am not aware of any other missable stuff from reinforcements

  14. To my knowledge, enemies have the same stats on both Hard and Lunatic in Hoshido and Nohr

I have the stats, though there might be some variances, and I might have missed out some units, and there might be new units introduced on Lunatic (sometimes these kind of things happen)

I don't have the skills or inventory for Lunatic though.

I'd presume japanese sites would have gotten more information, but I have no idea how to search for that in all honesty.

(Of course, all these names are still the japanese ones, er, welp)

  15. I've played FE6 through FE13 on hard, and was pretty much satisfied with the difficulty there. I'm not too sure how Hoshido lunatic compares, but in terms of Fates, playing on Conquest hard is fitting for me like I said earlier. With that in mind, I'm wondering which mode in Revelations compares to Conquest hard, as well as how the chapter maps and objectives compare.

The maps and objectives are a bit, I dunno. On one hand, some people find them too gimmicky. On the other hand, at times I personally find the maps too simple, it really becomes just "Roll across the map". It's slightly more like Nohr since even Ryoma can't exactly roll over the map unassisted due to enemy variety and what not, but it's really not that overly threatening.

I'd say Revelations Lunatic is fairly tough, but quite a bit of the difficulty hits you right after the decision point, let's just say that the enemies gain a pretty ridiculous stat gain right out the gate, but otherwise it kind of tapers off towards the end, since your stats rise as well

  16. Hopefully this hasn't been asked before, but I have a question about class changing and gaining skills. For the sake of an example, I intend to use a Heart Seal on Kagero (currently promoted) to make her a Basara (from her Diviner side-class) for a level or two so she can get Rend Heavens. So, my question is:

-Since she currently doesn't have any Diviner skills, will she gain them upon level-up like how it normally works for class changing?

-If so, if one of those skills isn't learned until level 5 promoted, will that push back Rend Heavens?

    Thanks in advance.

Basara! Kagero will learn Magic +2, then Future Sight. After that, if she's Level 5 or higher, she'll learn Rend Heaven, then if she's 15 or higher, Quixotic.

The situation is a bit more complicated if she gains Spear Fighter in her class set but otherwise this

  17. i suppose if you really have to, you can unequip Ryoma and Scarlet and have them try to draw some enemies away from the main group while your units try to wrap up the units. The chapter is kind of hard. For the top part of the map, it's really just a matter of positioning.

In an absolute last case resort you could just use Ryoma and Scarlet and have them sweep most of the map and leave some exp for the rest, if it's really necessary.

Hoshido isn't necessarily a cakewalk really, it's mostly that different players have different experiences and it can really change opinions.

    And choices of units really.

Protip: Remember to use effective weaponry as often as you can

  18. It depends on your experience, choices, and difficulty

Revelations Normal is tough for beginners, but will be a breeze for experienced players

Revelations Hard/Lunatic will crush you if you walk in un(der)prepared/experienced, but for experienced players it's really not much harder than Hoshido Lunatic
