I just went in with characters that have high res. I'm surprised that not many are mentioning hidden weapon users aka the dedicated mage killer like Felicia and Kagero...

I'm surprised that I managed to yolo my lvl 40 5* Kagero the entire F!Robin map by herself. Well except that I used Linde to take out the lance guy since I didn't want to bother for another turn. Considering I never managed to beat Narcian hard map this was easy. Could be at the time of Narcian I had a really poor team comp to handle him :/

managed to get 20 orbs for free today and did a summon since my last couple of summons were lackluster with mostly only 3* but today was probably my luckiest summon so far. I really wanted Julia because I lack green mages heck green units in general. Same goes for healers since I only got 1 healer so far :/

Could there be a culture thing how the marketing campaigns works? I don't know how japanese people market their games, especially remakes in this case. I'm actually looking forward to the next news drop like the direct just because of all the lack of information there is on the game. ^This, many underestimate the power of world of mouth.

Doesn't in this case count more as a bumping post rather than double posting considering it have gone more than 24 hours between the two? Interesting since one could assume then most of the main mechanics from Gaiden is returning.

I see... I guess I'll have to train my units to lvl 40 so I can take on adv more easily with a solid team since as it stands right now 2 of my units die on average.

How does ranking in arena work really? Will it only count every 7th win or is it continuously? I was happy that I got 3333 offensive and 260 defence but seeing my rank between 50k-100k I'm kinda sad since considering I thought my rank would be much higher. As in around the 10k-30k not under 10k mind you.

Two or three days ago I decided to go for Deep Devotion, since of Legendary heroes only Tiki is left I really want but knowing my luck I'll have to dump 1k $ for her... For now I'll enjoy Awakening Tiki instead. I hoped so I would get Camilla, Takumi or Lyn, so I dropped some cash for two pulls and one free pull and only managed to get Roy out of them. After that after 3 days I done a couple of free pulls thanks to the orbs I earned from the story and I'm currently halfway done with Lunatic I managed to get Lyn. I'm very happy about this. Now I'll have to decide to save up the rest of my free orbs for the next focus or try my luck again for Camilla and Takumi.

I just made my trio into 4* today. I can really tell that they preform much better now compared when you first got them. I think I'll make Sharena 5* first while who is getting second I don't know yet. I think it will depend on what I really need a red or a green unit by then. Now the long road to get 60k feathers.

Is your defensive team the same as your offensive team (the team that is set as your leader on the far left) or is it the team on the far right? Would actually be very helpful if the game told you which teams you have are on the defense :/

I'm curious how many actually wants to keep these character and train them up to 5* seeing them they're not that bad if you make the into 5 star. I've already made them into 3* but seeing you'll need 66k+ feathers it not something you will be able doing in short period of time. Unless someone is seriously whaling and sending characters home enmasse.

I'm courious how many does all 5 summons or just pick the colour orbs you want and then start over till you get the char you want? I know I started with doing all 5 summons but after seeing the RNG keep sending me blue orbs I decided to ignore them for now and only focus on orbs of the other colours till I get a 5*. I've a particular problem and that is I need a balanced set of 5* of each colour xD

That's the plan alright. I'm just interested in other team compositions as in should you go all in or go for more defensive strategy as in having a good bow user or healer and so forth. edit: I just realized that by sending my heroes home I'll get feathers instead. How I did not see this earlier I have no idea... Well at least I can now send mainly those 3* heroes I have no interest keeping and save up the feathers for heroes that need higher rarity faster instead.

Any tips how I can beat the final story mission on hard? My current team currently are M!Robin, Linde, Hawkeye and Serra 3* and my biggest problem is Veronica that can OHKO my entire team and the damn healer that heals Veronica when I manage to wither her down. Well I know my biggest issue is it's a poor team setup against her and that my team are at lvl 30, so I'll probably have to level up a couple of levels first. I also did manage to get Lucina and Kagero today so I'm currently training them to swap out Robin and Serra. This means it will take a couple of days before I can challenge her again so I just want to hear other people thoughts.

After spending to much money I finally managed to pull Lucina and Kagero while I was trying to get Lucina. With that I at least got one 5* on every colour. I think I'll ignore the blue stones for a bit since I'm afraid of pulling another blue 5* seeing I already have 3 of them (Robin, Linde and Hinoka) although I also really want Azura. orz Although I really need a 5* healer on my team seeing I only have managed to pull a 3* Serra that is any good. I did manage to get a 4* Serra today but sadly she has to wait till my 3* Serra gets a 4* before I merge them.

I'm very happy but at the same time salty AF because of all my pulls those I really need like Lucina, Azura, Young Tiki have yet to appear FML... orz Yet I have managed to pull 3 5* which Robin was my first which I'm very happy about since he was the one I was also aiming at and just now I pulled 2 5* in one go. Screenshots: Like I said not the ones I would like to have but fuck it I'll take it especially Hawkeye since I really need a good Green unit on my team. Funny thing as soon I noticed I pulled 2 5* I said to myself "welp there goes my luck" and yep my next 5 chars where 3* duplicates. FML why is the character you want most are the hardest to get... I also found funny that most the characters I want on my team are 3/4*. I guess I'll save up those feathers... And now i can't spend any more money for a good while. I sure hope I can most of the characters for free later down the line. Even if they're 1*

Debuff that stacks? I thought if you get hit by another debuff only resets the counter. Unless you mean you're getting debuffed across the broad constantly. Anyway then what popular character picks are good to counter the shiruken/dagger so I can start training them early? My guess are archers and my own ninjas? Also is wary fighter tank is solid counter? Edit: forgot to ask, what other picks for rally bot on conquest other than Laslow are there?

I'm currently on my first run lunatic conquest and I'm at chapter 13 now. With Laslow and Peri joined my team I'm thinking of training both of them and I'll probably keep Peri since her personal skill seems to be quite strong. I'm still debating over Laslow for now. I just don't know what kind of class and skill build I should go for them. For Laslow I'm thinking of making him a rally bot since Selena in my game is just a better fighter than him. Any tips since I'm going into L!Conquest mostly blind.

This got me thinking... For sake of argument lets say support are in the game. Then my question is how do you think the support conversation will be handle? This stems from from my understanding that you are playing two different parties in two different places in the world majority of the game before the two joins up to defeat the big bad at the end right? With this made me think that there will be exclusive support convo to each Lord and perhaps a couple that can support with both parties? For example a soldier in Alm party can't have supports those in Celica and vice versa and Villager A can support with characters in both parties. Now I have excluded marriage since I don't know the rooster and it's a different discussion if it should also be included or not.

Now I know very little about Gaiden story, heck about the game itself and I prefer to stay that way till I play Echoes myself. Honestly I think Nintendo just shifted their attention to pokemon for since it's the next big thing and it's their killer app like any company would do. For comparison sake look at EA all their focus is on Titanfall and Battlefield 1 and barely on anything else. If you really think about it the summer period very dry season both new releases and news outlets. That's just what it have always been. It isn't till September when they all start to kick into high gear again.

Wait what? As far I know it's the complete opposite. IIRC with the release of Fates FE have solidified as a gold tier first party franchise along with Zelda and Mario. Seeing that FE have several guest appearances in several of their games like Monster Hunter is further proof of that. This is no cash cow Nintendo will let to die any time soon. Other than it takes time to translate stuff which is very easily to slip behind schedules could be licenses issues may have come forth. I highly doubt that considering it's a first party game.

I dunno if people are aware of this or suffer the same problems as I do. When I made a system transfer to a new 3DS about a week ago, I noticed most of my calling cards and several of my friends were greyed out and thus couldn't visit their castle any longer, even though more than 24 hours have passed. As many of you may or may not be aware it's has to do with the 3DS batteries getting changed and affecting the internal 3DS clock or something. There seems to be very few to none fixes to this, to qoute Masterthunderblade that helped me: Sadly these didn't work for me as I expected. However, I possible found a third solution on how you can revisit them. It's through the StreetPass Results. Since the streetpass even register when you visit other castles under your Avatars name you'll be able to fool the system with that. But for this to work you need to have fought with the other castle such as seized or won the castle battle them or it won't appear on your result list. I think it also record if you lose a battle but I haven't check that condition yet. So if you have a friend greyed out, even after 24 hours but you have seized their castle before. Go then to your inbox and check your StreetPass result and check for your Avatar name, with the details "Castle seized!" or "Attackers won!". The text should be black meaning you can visit yourself but it's actually your friends castle. The biggest pain is that you can't see whom you seized. I just wanted to share this with your folks since I haven't found any other solution other than Masterthunderblade mentioned and let me and others know if it works for you too.
