  1. I don't expect #FE to be sorted into the FE3/FE12 coloring, meaning this indicates 18 + 5 #FE cards total. (5 ST promos) I expect most of them to get level 1 + promotion + Mirage, but Itsuki and Tsubasa are likely to get an additional level 2 or 3 and 5. Also, there's a chance some of them don't get a level 1, even. But the other option you mention is also possible, where red #FE is sorted before FE3, and blue is sorted before Awakening. (Meaning double the cards)
  2. We might be able to make a deal, Kirie. I can probably buy them off you for a lot of them. (I already want Lucina and Tiki out of the new ones) Easy shipping, woo.
  3. Cards broken but wouldn't see play in current red decks. That's how dumb red cards are.
  4. The changes you made are fairly solid but I think you should try to find space for 4 Caeda3. (Card is mediocre but the overall support value this deck has is low at the moment) Edit: I see you're not limited to ST-only. In that case, Caeda2 or pegasus sisters are slighty better.
  5. Not sure on Caeneghis and Nailah since they didn't bother with Naesala and Tibarn SRs. Also, I expect an Ike SR, and probably 1 enemy. (Sephiran or Zelgius)
  6. It's true Leo is more powerful than other discards, but you don't choose. Normal discards are chosen by the opponent, Leo discards at random
  7. The blue ST was of the Shepherds because the ST decks pick the first X number of characters in the game, and they all happen to be the Shepherds. (I think this is true for all 5 decks, not 100% sure)
  8. So far I think all the promos eventually released as HN. (Level 1 main lord)
  9. I think the Mirages won't get more cards, and the Masters will get additional 4 and 5s, at least. Maybe even 2. Gameplay-wise there's a lot of complicated dynamics, but we'll get to them when we see more cards.
  10. http://lparchive.org/Fire-Emblem-Sword-of-Seals/Update%2001/61-royart.png http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/fireemblem/images/9/9c/Micaiah_(FE10_Artwork).png/revision/latest?cb=20130618182132 the set 4 box promos should be these 2 with bland backgrounds. (Micaiah probably with the same background as Ike's promo)
  11. I understand that a lack of tact in criticism also leads to a lack of tact in TAKING the criticism- However, they have a point because this deck is not "aggressive" at all. Your main damage dealers are going to hit for 80 after supports a LOT (but also a lot of 90, rarely 100) so you simply can't beat a lord that's at 70 and mills a flier. More easily put, you cannot beat an enemy that plays a lot of 30 supports. A card's power is not in the card itself, but in the average attack power it will reach in a deck, and that is why fliers are so important. On the flipside, you're also very likely to lose Orbs against 50~60 attack units, as they're always going to support for 20 or 30, and you're quite likely to support for 10. tl;dr - Your Lord is 80, everybody else's lord is 90. The result is obvious.
  12. Seriously? XD My bad. (I guess it's no different from previous cavalier-bros though)
  13. In pure green, you play Soren3 because there's not enough cards. In Blue/Green, you should probably play Henry, so I'm not sure you need Sorens, still. I really love Blue/Green Ike because Ike has much better synergy with Henry (The best blue card after Nowi) than Chrom does.
  14. Lords that require a discard of themselves are often weak because of what you mentioned. You want enough of them to dodge AND trigger the effect (Which is by itself already the reason those cards barely see play) but the more you play, the harder it is to not lose to a bunch of weak units taking off orbs.
  15. It's pretty easy to build a viable deck out of a starter deck and commons. (I did so for most of my group, and have lost to each one at least once) All you need is to understand the underlying mechanics and dynamics of the game. Especially for a starter deck adaptation, that usually just means playing as many fliers as possible, and no 10s.
  16. Red has by far the best cards, even now. However, Nowi is amazing, and the blue fliers are better than red, so that's why you see a lot of mixed Marths. Pure Red Marth is better if you don't have Nowis.
  17. I don't necessarily like Takumi3 in the deck, nor Corrin1. Takumi4 is sometimes nice, but probably the best option overall is to play Hinoka4 and replace Takumis with Setsunas.
  18. Currently, Maria is played over Lena for just the reasons Omega stated. (Maria saw almost no play in set 1 and 2)
  19. If you play some games against a large variety of other decks, you'll notice that Support values are much, much more important than you think.
  20. It's pretty much all Marth and White/Black decks (Mostly CorrinF, but there's a few outliers like Kinu, CorrinM and Azura) But there's about an equal amount of random decks in here.
  21. I'd love to have more debate on stuff. Currently we just discuss builds during games on Lackey or on the Facebook group.
  22. Ok, so imagine a deck with Ranulf and ALL birds. Your lord is 110 on offense and defence assuming you even find your promotion, and get steamrolled because none of your other units does anything, and you might be forced to use Ranulf on stuff that isn't the enemy Main Character. The problem is, a deck with all birds is not realistic, and you're forced to play a lot of 10-supports as well, putting you at 100. And that's where every other deck has the option to beat your face in. (Set 5 might fix this, as dragons seem to be on curve AND have 20 support) I really like Ranulf as the budget/boring option (No seriously, it's the most boring deck I have) but it's lacking compared to other decks we've seen that are good.
  23. What's the reason to play Ranulf as lord then? You'd still be better off with a red/blue deck in that case. (As is proven by tournament results where Marth dominates)
  24. Ranulf is performing really poorly, and if you play the deck enough (5~10 games is plenty) you'll notice the really, really painful flaws that no other deck has. Besides Ranulf, the majority of your deck can't put a dent in anything, as the majority of your deck is 10~20 support, and your only attackers at 70 are Ranulf and Tibarn. Of course, Naesala and Ranulf are probably overpowered, but the rest of your cards is really underwhelming as the game progresses. (And Ranulf is a lategame deck, which also goes against the current metagame) Leanne should never resolve, and the deck also fails to find a Ranulf3 a LOT of the time. I'm waiting for series 5 to greatly boost Ranulf's viability so you can actually play purely 20+ supports, but I'm also pretty sure a Fang unit with 30 support will never exist. Ranulf will keep the same flaws as it has now as long as no viable green beaters (Fang or no) are released.
