FE16 Same-Sex Relationship Discussion
Tamanoir replied to BastienSoul's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
The weirder thing is that if they really wanted a feminine guy option, wouldn't Ignatz have been a better option ? Which would make three potential gay/bi options for Golden Deer that are totally straight. I really don't get it. And obviously, they're likely gay only for Byleth. So, I doubt we'll see Alois X Gilbert, for example (or Edelgard X Rhea/Dorothy for that matter). -
FE16 Same-Sex Relationship Discussion

The problem with JK Rowling from what I got, is that it seems kinda disingenuous, and never her true ideas from the start, while avoiding all the posible ways to "rectify" it. There were discussions about that when Fantastic Beasts II came out. At least IS seems to be trying to tackle the subject, even if it may not be in the most graceful way. -
So Which house are you guys picking?
Tamanoir replied to Busterman64's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Honestly, I'm still not really sure, each one has great appeal. And I don't want to chose students from the other houses. Not the first time through each playthrough. Blue Lions is pretty solid, mainly because the plot directly concerns some of its members. But Claude being a wildcard with a ragtag bunch of misfits seems really fun to play through. And playing the "villain" with Edelgard is also appealing. Right now I am thinking of doing M!Byleth with Claude and F!Byleth with Dimitri. -
You know, Bow Knight may be the reason while Sniper don't have Bow Critical +10 (and War Master probably have Gauntlet Critica +10l as well.). I can see Gremory and/or Mortal savant having Magic Critical +10, but I have no idea who would have Lance Critical here.

First Scans for July 25th Famitsu

What really makes it funny is that it also apply to the Assassin's entire battalion. -
I have great hope for Ignatz now.

I am surprised no one put Raphael X Ignatz. They are both merchant's sons, and even have a common Paralogue. Ingrid X Everyone of course. But the Paralogue is just making Ingrid X Dorothy writes itself.

Treehouse Live Day 2 Info (starting soon)
Tamanoir replied to VincentASM's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
The Alliance is a republic, and those thing rarely works well in Fire Emblem (See Carcino in Sacred Stones.). I don't know who is ruling the Alliance at that point (Claude isn't the leader yet), but none all of members of the Alliance have the same goals, and they're probabaly all trying to get as much power as possible for themselves. So, basically, they're corrupt. -
Marianne is also the symbol of the French Republic.

We know that some spells, like Fire are reserved to a specific class. Mage can use Fire,Dark Mage can use Miasma, but if they are already proficient in it, the use is doubled. Faith seems to works the same way

Treehouse Live Day 2 Info (starting soon)
Tamanoir replied to VincentASM's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
I actually felt the other way. they were only superficially you, but they clearly were tehir own charatcers. If so many peopel complains about Robin burning ships in awakening, it's because we have a character doing something that we, the player, probably wouldn't have done directly ourselves. It felt like nothing more than a ruse, tbh. And I don't just say that because we didn't had any facial hair option... They seems more like the typical DQ Heroes (most of what we know about them so far, is that they aren't big talkers. So, ironically enough, they may be even more self inserts than the other Avatars. (The fact we are a teacher adds to this idea.) -
The official Three Houses site has launched

It's taking the issue teh wrong way. Bi and gay people exists. Therefore they should be represented. It's as simple as that, really. Bi and gay are really underrepresentedn and when they are, it's often pretty badly. So your sentence ends up sounding way harsher than you probably means -
So I just thought about something... Could Wyvern Knight actually be a Male exclusive class ? We already know that Pegasus is Female Exclusive, so it's a possibility. I suppose only time will tell. Also, do we actually know what each of the classes presented here are ?

E3 Three Houses (Nintendo Direct) Info Thread
Tamanoir replied to Corrobin's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
You have to chose between three path (well, two, Chaos or Lawfull, with Chaos leading being able to branching to Neutral later on.) It's a pretty great story that goes to some really dark places (recruitable character in one path will often meet tragic ends in other paths. And one path requires you to do a pretty morally heavy choice. The remake adds a rewind features (like the one we see here and in Echoes), and allow you to moves around the timelines, kind of like in Radiant Historia. I think there are some time of post game mission to save important characters (I didn't do them), but otherwise it's just an easy way mainly a way to do all paths without having to do a new game. -

Though for the ones that didn't follow all the news like us, it wasn't actually that big of a trailer. If you barely know those guys, or know how they lived, why should you even care about the time skip ? Was this trailer just for the fan ? I'm fine with it, but it's a strange choice.
