exactly the way i feel btw, i don't even care enough to make predictions for those dlc, all i can say is that if camus, minerva and xane aren't part of the SD dlc, my interest in this game will instantly drop to 0% and it's already 5%

it's not that fates is an analogy of the fe fanbase: the developers themselves took part to this "war" the developers split in two different groups: one wanted to go back to the classical style of fire emblem, like the gba or tellius ones, while the other one wanted to do even more "casual-friendly" (sorry for the term, but that's the truth) mechanics the result is that you can clearly feel the incoherence of the game and all the different ideas they threw in, even if they had nothign in common, all due to the fact that the developers themselves had different visions btw, yes, i thought the same after playing fates: nohrians were the "elitists" and hoshido were the "casuals" PS: i think it's important to note that hoshido, in birthright (representing casual fans) completely obliterates nohr (elitists), destroying everything they had, even though the hoshidians were the pacific ones IntSys, if that's true, i'm really scared of you

wow, this is actually surprising to say the least i totally agree, they don't add anything new to the roster and we i would happily get rid of them given how much i don't like fates, not having azura in the main game when said game is focused on fates so much that almost half of the roster is composed by characters from fates, it's just...

well, technically it's true, but i don't think they would lock them if they'll ever be added in first place under usable items i think they should have their normal weapons, like claws, beaks and so on, and that they should wait some seconds so that a hypothetical transformation gauge fills up in order to transform into their animal form, temporarily, then going back to the anthropomorphic form

except they don't use stones btw, i'm really happy they've been officially announced of course, not surprising at all, even without the boxart leak, since shiida was basically confirmed just by marth's presence, and tiki was confirmed by her amiibo's announcement at e3 but still happy nonetheless

i'm very happy shiida and tiki got revealed, but... four words: who would have guessed i mean, even without the leak, shiida was 90% confirmed due to the simple fact that marth was in too, and they confirmed tiki since her amiibo announcement and why do they even bother to show us some shiida gameplay (same with celica and other clones) if she's just another pegknight with a different skin? btw, even though these two characters haven't surprised me at all, i'm happy they're in

it woulf be awesome if every character in this game had a costume for a character whose role is similar, but that has 0% chance of getting in the game, not even with dlc i'd love to see 1) robin cosplaying levin, with green hair and bard outfit 2) takumi cosplaying innes, with grey/green hair and fe8 sniper outfit, with the classic "half-breastplate" 3) xander cosplaying sigurd, with blue hair and white outfit 4) chrom cosplaying lord eliwood, with red hair and blue outfit

i find hilarious how i'm only recently starting to appreciate the game, with lyn's and celica's announcements, while this is the exact same reason why a lot of people stopped defending this game and being negative about it i am honestly, deeply, sincerely happy about what this game is becoming, because it's what we have been promised with the original premise: "a warriors game featuring a lot of characters from different games except not actually" if this game ends up being a complete failure, i'll be very happy otherwise, i'll be very happy anyway PS: still waiting to see dlc

ironically, fe9 is not featured in the game, hahaha cries in italian btw, i actually don't care about reviewers' scores (i love inazuma eleven's games to death, yet they don't get extremely high scores), but seeing such appreciation, it may actually be a hint about the game being good i really hope it is, but contextalizing these scores, i expected nothing less: i mean, japan loves musou games, so of course they receive high scores, then add the fact that we're in the "fire emblem's extremely high scores" flow, and we obtain 36/40 not that there's something wrong about it: as i said, i'm just contextualizing probably western reviewers' scores will be a bit lower except IGN (there's a 99% chance i'm wrong, tho)

yes, it's that character that wants to gain more and more power by submitting others, like travant, michalis and desaix i didn't make it as an option because it's not that famous as an archetype, even though a lot of characters through the series represent it, and put it together with other less famous archetypes, like merrics, gordins and julians

well, i'm not so sure about it. I mean, looking at the other lords in the game, we have rowan and lianna which are basically clones, since they're the "tutorial" unit, marth shares his moveset with no one as far as we know, then chrom and lucina, sicne they're father and daughter, it makes sense that they have similar moves, and finally corrin, who's a lord on his/her own other characters sharing movesets (or at least parts of them) are leo and elise, sakura and takumi, and camilla and hinoka now, for leo-elise and takumi-sakura, it makes sense, since they're from the same game they just wanted to add the little sisters in the easiest and fastest way possible, but the cordelia-hinoka thing is a bit different: they are from different games, it's unlikely that both in awakening's world and fates' world pegknights fight almost the exact same way, but since they are indeed basically the same class, they just made them with the same moves (ad i'm ok with that) this said, i don't think lyn and navarre are gonna be clones, because 1) navarre isn't a lord (and as we've just seen, lucina, the only lord who's a clone, is another lord's clone), and 2) they're not from the same game/world: yes, there's the cordelia-hinoka case, but none of them is a lord you can say that lyn's lord class is basically a myrmidon of royal blood, but that's just what i think btw, i don't care if they're clones, i'd play them anyway

yeah, i had quite a hard time balancing those characters, and i must say i miserably failed if you're interested in why i made them so broken/unbalanced, that's my explanation my first idea was to make them as similar as possible to the way they work in fe9/10, but for obvious reasons, they can't implement their peculiar gauge, so i tried to make them useful and useless alternatively, and i decided to make them basically player phase only, aside from naesala my idea was to make them transform only if initiating combat, thus the absurd darting warding armored blow of death 3 to represent the stat bounses laguz gain while transformed (i just couldn't make them like in RD, where their stats double if transformed, they would've had an extremely low raw rating): in order to balance them, i decided to give them a really low raw rating: my idea was that the player would've wondered whether using them given their being broken, while having quite low raw rating ranulf's 10 res is indeed stupid, he should have like -1hp/atk/spd/def and +4 res reyson's stats are indeed a bit too high, due to his huge utility (flying unit, refresher), he should have less hp, atk and def, but since we don't have flying refreshers, i just didn't know how to balance him naesala's great beak would be a legendary weapon with 14 mt in my mind, just like legendary bows, and yes, naesala would be the most broken thing we'd ever see, and vantage doesnt' help at all... tear and rend are indeed broken as well, i just don't know what i was thinking about but HEY, at least i'm not part of fe heroes' staff! cries in fanboy-ese btw, you all can completely forget about that part of the original comment; i won't take it away, since doing it would make these last comments useless EDIT: @Hilda they could make a Radiant Dawn banner with sothe wielding peshkatz, or even beastkiller, effective against laguz (i know beastkiller is effective only against beast tribe duh but they could make it effective against every laguz, because it being effective against one type of laguz out of 3 would be quite useless), along with 1/2 laguz
