Why is there a huge gap between Zubat and Pidgey?

If we have Mewtwo on the list we should put the Johto pokemon from the Sevii Islands on here too, we can get them before we get Mewtwo

I finally got Entei and it only took 30 Ultra balls and 30 Fast Balls....... Raikou is getting out of hand it has 1 hp left and sleep and it still wont get caught.. and whats with them running even when their asleep?

I dont think Moltres should be that low, it actually has the best stats of the legendary birds(I think), and has an actual moves this time around: Flamethrower Endure Agility Fire Spin Also this is 3rd gen so Flareon's bite goes off Sp. Atk not regular attack...

It also is effective against Aerodactyl, Pidgeot and Golbat

According to this book I have, on top of having a nature, Pokemon also have "characteristics" that influence their stats as well, such as: Hp- "Loves to eat" or "Often dozes off" Anyone else know this?

Update: Quilava- 24 Noctowl- 22 Flaafy- 22 Just beat Morty (Noctowl FTW ) Furret got benched (amazing while he lasted) and Im about to catch a Shellder I've been moving slow becuase Im addicted to pokeathelon (I wont stop till I win the speed contest) This weekend I plan to start the main quest again

Yeah Tentacool should move up despite being so damn common in the wild and annoying And diglett is good imo its fast and has decent attack, but its lowish HP/defenses are a problem...... Also whats are the thoughts on using the pokewalker? you can get alot of pokemon earlier with it (before the first gym), namely Magby, Doduo and Oddish

You may be right. Choosing Chikorita/Totodile prevents us from getting Cyndaquil (and vice versa) who is the only fire pokemon availiable until just before Ecruteak City and those pokemon need fire stones (eevee, growlithe, vulpix) to go to their final forms Ponyta comes late. But there is Magmar who comes around the same time Growlithe/Vulpix does. But yeah not choicing Cyndaquil forces us to not have access to fire until the 4th gym

I know this, but Scyther took out my Cyndaquil and I had no revives

Oh and dont forget that Bellsprout can learn the powders as well

Flaffy only takes 1x damage from Rollout its not a ground technique

Metapod and Kakkuna are actually tough, Their defenses are a little tough, even againist moves like peck, and have fun with Kakkuna's poison sting. Annd dont forget that Bugsy starts off with Scyther, that thing swept my enitre team with quick attack

The first two gyms are super effective types againist Chikorita. For instance, Bugsy's Metapod has that shed skin ability and Kakkuna is immune to poison. And Scyther is fast hits hard and has U-turn But Whitney I will concede EDIT: the other responses are bolded....
