No that is not what I meant. Pincer Attack makes the unit attacks twice, regardless of its speed right ? I'm asking : if a Halberdier attacks with a Hero Lance and procs Pincer Attack, will it attacks 4 times ?

Can you double with a smash weapon using Halleberdier's skill ? Edit : Nevermind you can't. But can you quadruple attack with a Hero lance ?

I'm on Maddening C.11 and I'm using GK Louis. I was thinking of reclassing him into Halleberdier because ennemies on Maddening hit too hard to have a proper tank anyway. I will try it !

I know that some players love to grind endgame but it is just not the point of this game. Isn't skimirshes and the Tower of Trial enough ? I remember grinding was very long in Awakening too. Or maybe they expect the player to grind in online mode ?

By early game, I'm guessing you mean until chapter 10. Canter of course, if you can buy it. I always buy it for Alear. It is very useful to reposition him and use his personnal skill. I always give my Vander Hit+10 from Sigurd. If I can I give it to Boucheron too. Build +3 is also very good to fix some units, like Chloé or Alfred. Healing Light on your Qi Adept if you are keeping it. Not so sure about Staff Mastery but it's cheap so why not. You won't be able to inherit Canter anyway.

Make the Arena and the skill emblem room in the same room.

The gameplay is so fun compared to TH, I'm 100% sure I will have more hours in Engage than in TH.

Hello guys. Is there a guide concerning donations on Maddening/No DLC ? When to donate, who to donate and which level ? For now I plan to do Firene lvl2 and Brodia lvl 3. Generally I'm very short on money juste before Chapter 14 then it's all good.

Hey guys, I'm having problem understanding some skills combination. I wanted to test some mad stuff with Astra Storm and true damage. Alear personnal skill gives +3 true damage. So why when I use Astra Storm with a character next to Alear, it doesn't do +15 (3*5) damage ? Maybe it had only +3 damage at the end ? But how can it show on the calculation window ? Or maybe it had 0.30*3*5 damage and round it up (or down) ? Same question for Bravery (Eirika) skill who gives +3 damage. I guess I can't give Astra Storm that much true damage ?

And also have Luck% of not being able to act next turn because of fatigue 😅

Leif has 1 big problem : his engage weapons are bad. Hence, his quadra-hit has low damage. Light brand hits magic, so if you have a physical unit it is useless. The other 3 are weaker than steel weapons.

His Celine is not that screwed tbh. Lvl10 on Maddening, she only has 11.

Give Corrin a shuriken instead of a Wakizashi. And Dagger prof.

I played the game on hard. I don't see why we should play Berserker over Warrior, and Swordmaster/Hallebardier over Hero. Maybe for the S-rank weapons ? I had Successeur for the sword and Griffin Knight for the lance. Same for Paladin, Wolf Knight is just better. In my playthrough, I didn't see the point of Sage. Mage Knight is a better offensive class and I had plenty of staff users : Chloé, Hortensa, Ivy, Micaiah, and the Royal Knight character. Same for Martial Master. Is there any point using fist in this game ? Divine Dragon is good for the bonus on Emblems. Too bad it is strength only. I didn't use a Great Knight nor a General. Any character with nice def (Diamant, Goldmary, Timerra) and Ike can tank. I don't know if it's Ivy or her class (it's the same tbh) but it is very strong. Flyer, magic, staff, good hp/def/res. Meh spd but you can fix it with speedwings (it was the only suitable character for that), Lyn +Xspd skill and a speed emblem, like Eirika which gives Windsword, a magic weapon. My MVP.

Just finished the game yesterday. I think we have a competitor for the worst story in a FE game. The weakest link of the story is Sombon not having sex with Zephia, obviously. Also sometimes the game tells you "Emblems are very powerful items, its bearer is very strong !" and near the end "Meh, no wish anymore, Emblems are useless now".

I see. Can't you farm the endgame with skirmished and the trial tower ? I didn't play it so I'm just asking.

You should promote lvl10, and reclass only in tier 2. However, Magister are limited in the first tier of the game, so you should promote wisely. It depends on what you need. For example, I needed an other staff user --> I promoted Chloé into Griffon. I needed my Diamant to be an axe user --> I promoted Diamant.

I'm playing on Hard but my guesses are : - Play with at least 2-3 magic users for the armored units. - Play with Backup unit. Even on Hard I'm having trouble 1turn-kill some bosses. I need the back-up assist. - Keep your Byleth Engage for bosses.

I play in French, but it's translated from English, with the Japanese voices. I'm pretty sure Nintendo of America decided to translate this game like a 80'/90' dub anime. Almost every character says the stupidest shit ever, it's funny. It's even funnier with English voices 😂. I watched some support clips in English, how can you not feel disturbed by it ? Every actor overplays. So yeah, they did some character dirty like Yunaka. In Japanese, she doesn't say a weird catchphrase every sentences. However it's fun. The story is boring af, the characters too. They went full cringe in this localization and I like it. Concerning the romance stuff, it's weird. The player cannot know the age of the characters without Internet. Alear is 17 yo. He cannot romance a 17 yo girl, but can romance a 45 yo dude ? Mmmhhh.... Weird. (The "but he is over 1000 yo !!!" doesn't work, sorry). They should have make Alear 18 yo, all the 17 yo characters 18 yo, and for Anna/Jean/Framme/Clanne, make the S rank a family thing (like you are a brother/sister to me).

At first I didn't like him. But all the other characters are such weirdos/creepers, that his reactions are funny sometimes. Of course, concerning the story he is bland.
