  1. I mean, OBJ and Norman were going back and forth all game, so the "targeting" was basically reciprocal. Wallace used his helmet as a weapon. IMO that deserves a suspension every single time. There's no place in football for that kind of low brow bullshit.
  2. Just saw a replay of Cody Wallace's late helmet-to-helmet hit on that Broncos safety. I know OBJ is a bigger name and all, but Wallace's hit was basically as dirty as Beckham's and he should've been suspended. More proof that the NFL is not capable of giving out consistent punishments.
  3. The NFL has rolled out some absolutely horrifying uniform combinations this season. The "ketchup vs. mustard" battle from last Thursday was pretty awful. And then there was the red and green nightmare that actually prevented some colorblind people from telling one team from the other. All to get that extra coin from Nike, too.
  4. You're delusional if you don't consider OBJ elite. Guys, forget this nonsense. Let's talk about Gronk. I mean, no other tight end In the league even sniffs this guy's physical ability. Without him, the offense is mediocre at best. Easily the top non-QB offensive player in the NFL. I fucking love him so much :') when I wear his jersey I can feel my body be possessed by the spirit of a human beer bong.
  5. Plus, come on, Burfict was just testing the ankle flexion of Newton and Olson. No harm no foul
  6. The Steelers definitely don't have a pass rusher that's the same caliber as Khalil Mack. I would say the Broncos have a better chance to win that game. Could just be wishful thinking on my part
  7. Jack Del Rio should be fired for going for 2 after that TD. Inexplicable decision with Oakland's defense dominating the second half. EDIT: Evidently their long snapper might be injured
  8. As a fan of the team, I can tell you with 100% certainty that hell would freeze over before Bill would give away direct injury timelines on any player, let alone the most dynamic player on the team. He practiced today which is a good sign, but I still think he'll be out at least another week
  9. Uhh, I donno if you wanna amend your pick for SNF but Gronk is probably not playing
  10. He definitely had enough time to wind the punch up due to how broken the coverage was on that play
  11. Looks like Johnny is back in the drivers seat in Cleveland. Guess it's about time to party!
  12. Nothing will ever beat his week 1 punter stomp last season. It's hard, being a man, to watch that TD celebration without grimacing. And I just hate when people are morons a lot
  13. I'll admit the vast majority of Patriots fans lack any semblance of awareness outside of their own favorite team. The Patriots Facebook group I'm in has been pretty hilarious since the loss to the Eagles. Everyone acted like that game was going to be a complete cakewalk EDIT: one of my friends was at the game and posted a video on Facebook of one of the concourses after the game. There was a guy on the ground who had been stabbed. I fucking hate people so much
  14. Why would he be nervous about facing them? Do they even have any defensive players from SB XL still on their roster? Didn't think so
  15. Gronk did play in that game. He played in every game last year, but early on his snaps were limited due to coming off an ACL tear. Also, RIP Jacoby Jones era in Pittsburgh. Who could've seen that coming ........
  16. It's been a while since I've seen the Pats play a game like this. Blocked punt returned for a TD, INT return for a TD at the Eagles goal line, punt return TD by Sproles and no semblance of an offense to be seen. Hooray
  17. My double-bladed dildo. Never before has anything created so much pain and pleasure simultaneously
  18. The best recap of the game I saw: Cleveland Clevelanded harder than Schaub Schaubed
  19. Hating a team for beating you in the Super Bowl is legitimate to me. Why did you hate the Chiefs again? I seem to recall it was hilariously random
  20. I would be more inclined to agree with you a month ago. I think the D had their best game of the season against the Giants, and they certainly weren't winning that one wire-to-wire. The secondary will be permanently suspect to me. However, when all members of the front 7 are healthy, this is one of the top 8 defenses in the league
  21. The loss last night had more to do with losing Hightower on defense than any of the losses on offense. Not to say the offense wouldn't have done better, but the fact is the Broncos had 43 rushing yards on 15 carries while High was in the game. After he left? 17 carries for 136 yards. There's just no depth at inside LB currently. Which is unfortunate, really, because Hightower and Collins are the best LB duo in the AFC. The defense loses a whole lot of juice when either or both are absent.
