Can't they learn that most people don't what this?
  2. Then why waste time even making plate mail? Or learning to use a sword when you can just use magic and blow everything up? Actually let's just go with, video game logic doesn't make sense and call it a day...
  3. I am a history major focusing on medieval and early modern Europe. The main concern I have with the 2000+ years time gap is that in FE4 they already seem to have plate mail. This means that people would quickly start focusing on other technologies to pierce through said plate mail (In our world it was the long bow and then the gun). The castle style from the guide books also indicate a high medieval style, because they are fully stone walled and are not based on the idea of creating a mound or just one tower. Maybe magic would mean less focus on gun powder, but military technology is bound to change over 2000 years. And magic and flying beasts wouldn't stop them from having agricultural revolutions, and those are really what would have caused the technological outbursts.
  4. Yes, because: 1. Technology makes you life easier. Just think about electricity, plumbing, communications 2. Military technology. Maybe it would be more based on using those items, but it would still improve most likely....
  5. Wait, if this game takes place 1900 after the events in Arkanea, which is hundreds of years after the events in Jugdral, how on earth aren't the people in Jugdral super technologically advanced?
  6. He is usable but comes in too late. He has a good class and good strength and defense. Still comes in late though. 6.5/10
  7. Same as they did with Xenoblade and Last Story most likely, since that worked.
  8. So how does Spotpass work, do we just get units the day they are released, or can we get them later (like that Pokedex 3D)?
  9. SO MANY PEOPLE O.O And those side games XD
  10. I just realized that right next to the "predestined lovers" caption is a picture of Elto/Lachesis....My OTP for Lachesis was correct
  11. I wonder even if this game does come to America, will the Euro or US version feature all the 120 street pass characters, including the Japan-only-games ones? Because I really want to use my FE4 lovelies (and may import a Japanese version if they aren't in the European or American version).
  12. Zihark had good offence but not very durable. Sure he can dodge, but if that fails then he may just die. 7/10
  13. 1. SSBB 2. Skyward Sword 3. FE: Radiant Dawn 4. Xenoblade 5. Twilight Princess
  14. She provides cash for everyone to buy their rings for fix their stuff (especially when it comes to the Mistolteinn). That is pretty much it, since her stats make her difficult to use in battle. At least you can abuse the give command with her lover and train her that way. Once she gets a few levels in her she gets better and may actually not die. But I won't be using her for battling any time soon. 5/10
  15. He is pretty expensive for what he brings. His stats aren't anything great but they aren't bad either. He joins a little late IMO. He is probably better than the two others. 5/10
  16. 1. Kingdom Hearts II 2. Kingdom Hearts I 3. Final Fantasy X 4. Kingdom Hearts Re:CoM 5. God of War
  17. What pissed me off in Thracia were Leaf's lovely stats because those are pathetic. But if you aren't playing blind, just get every scroll, see what they do and give to to who needs them (or to Leaf). That should fix Leaf's stats. Once everyone gets a few levels in them, the game is pretty doable if you know what is happening, especially some chapters where it is best to just warp staff abuse to finish them fast (eg the bridge chapter). Chapter 24x was super annoying and Xavier's recruitment wasn't what I would call fun... Also the fact that the current patch is a mess is kind of annoying and a bit of a turn off, but nothing you can't deal with.
  18. Voted for Dozla because who doesn't want Dozla as a badge?
  19. His availability really really hurts him. He can help in part 1. But that 6 move... 4/10
  20. 1. Aless: So I have done essentially two crack runs of FE4 and this guy is the person I always fall on to save my team. Good stats, good growths, has a horse, but mainly that sword! The Mistoltein usually averages between 70-100 kills whenever I play FE4. Plus it doesn't hurt when I think he is the hottest guy in the series. 2. Percival: possible S rank in everything? Awesome bases that mean he doesn't even need growths? A super handsome face? A horse? What's not to love? 3. Leaf: Talking about the FE4 version here (because I kinda want to kill him in FE5 for having his best stat be a 6 luck -_-). So Leaf has a benefit very few characters can claim, he can essentially use every weapon type in his game. He gets a horse on promotion, meaning that he can keep up with Aless and help him kill everything. Leaf also has the benefit in FE4 of being one of the few usable units in a substitute unit run. Plus he is adorable. 4. Sigurd: Sigurd is Sigurd, that should be enough of an explanation for that. 5. Camus: And yes, I love my paladins. Honorable mentions: Nanna, Ike, Sety, Cuan, Ethlin, Geoffrey, Haar and Kent
  21. This. I feel like people overrate Nephenee way too much.
  22. He makes my unit go bald with a stupid question, and since my Japanese is very elementary, I always say yes to everything and go bald because of him, so there is a negative bias there. Stats are pretty meh. At least he can heal, but in this game that isn't really an advantage because of reclass. 4/10
  23. Captain of the Meh squad. Pretty much meh stats and outright terrible speed. And has the lovely FE1/11 problem of being a cardboard personality wise. 2/10
