What's set in stone regarding the children, and what's dependent upon parents? I hear hair color is determined by the father, while the kid itself by the mother. But what of class choices? Is that predetermined or do you mix and match? And I hear something about carried over skills? And... support conversations. There seems to be a whole ton of them. A LOT more then I expected. Is quality lost?

How ya figure? 4 classes have swords. That's 50 Levels easily mastering swords. Then the fliers both have Axes, plus Hero if you've already mastered swords. That's 30+. Your only concern then is Dark Mage.

That's... a ton of levels. Assuming the MU is the Slayer... 10 (Tactician) + 10 (Strategist) + 15 (Dragonmaster) + 15 (Griffin Knight) + 15 (Horseman) + 15 (Hero) + 15 (Dark Mage) = 95 Levels

'Nother skill question. Do enemy units get skills, or is it only bosses?

So that means roughly 12 characters per FE game, if we ignore 11 and 12 as unique games. Contrary to what some people are thinking. I don't believe anyone can marry anyone, a la FE 10 support system. Let's pretend for a moment that there are 120 people who can marry anyone. (it's doubtful in my mind that DLC can marry, but assuming 'some can' plus the number of playable characters native to 13, it's conceivable it'd even out) 120 x 119 = 14,280 unique conversations. I'm betting it's pre arranged who you can marry. Anyone can marry, but not everyone can marry anyone.

Only “support staff” means no development/security/improvements…future. I'll be following this story as it develops... but I'm not too thrilled about this. Most of my buddies are on AIM.

That's a very valid point, Celice. But the image is ambiguous there as well. The front most feet are clearly offset, but the back feet are almost exactly, but not quite, the same position. But for sake of argument, lets align it to the fore foot. I'm not sure I believe that IS would choose a punk kid as Krom's rival, but I think this image is convincing me otherwise.

I might've bought the child theory, if he/she wasn't so close to Krom's height. But 'Marth's head is at Krom's shoulders. Based on height, I figure there might be a year age difference or so, soI don't think 'Marth' could that late a bloomer.

The chest and biceps are conveniently hidden by the forearm and sword, which makes the most obvious tells ambiguous at best. But look at the tunic and legs. I strongly believe I see child bearing hips, and the smooth stocking and boots are more typical of female elegance.
